This feels like a folktale! It's so beautiful and seems simple at first glance, but everything under it is so complex and fascinating. I can imagine this being the "folktale" version of HuaLian centuries after.
This whole animation feels like a fairytale. Like, after hundreds of years, the exact details of their meeting and romance were lost or changed, and this was the result. Different, but no less beautiful.

This is soo pretty..also every scene reminds of a part of the story...it's like visiting the story once again...when that little fire became Hua Cheng 🥺 also at the end when xie lian walked away with that crimson flower, it made the pain resurface again!
