I knew this would make me cry... AND I WAS RIGHT!!!! I love how you wove everything the oracle said into the story, all the heart breaks, betrays and sacrifices they made for one another... and the oracle repeating- "It's no longer you-" Well... Binghe does make it back from the Abyss, yes.... but he's changed, so much so that while Lotus is no more. Oh, and that part about another man with his wife, a trail of bodies behind him... how *angry* Binghe got there... absolutely stunning, the way you draw expressions and emotion is breathtaking. Truly a stunning peice of art, this tells the tragedy of the story so well...makes me so damn happy they got their happy ending 🥹❤️❤️
I saw some of MDZS, if you want; one of my favorites is the Underworld but I also saw one of warrior of the mind and one from Love in Paradise (the angsty part at the end). Also I think I saw some of TGCF too, but I would need to check. Haven't seen any other of SVSSS yet, though.

The way you used the OG timeline as the alternate version where she would have helped him get home because of course that's what would happen with Bingge while our Binghe is going through so much corruption and heartbreak that he'll no longer be innocent little Bunhe but our unhinged Bingmei by the end of this. I love how the prophet is someone who was originally one of Bingge's wives and sees both her alternate future and knows the new one to come! the little flashes of events for them is just Amazing and I found myself particularly loving the "Faces of men who had long belied you dead" part. I know some of this is reference to the timeline difference, but I'm also seeing it as like...Binghe isn't going to be wholly himself anymore upon escaping, because of Xin Mo (and trauma). Like, he IS still a danger to SQQ! He does leave a trail of bodies behind him! (Just as Odysseus leaves a trail of dead suitors upon his return to his palace) He just won't be able to see it because he's so tunnel visioned, hurting, angry, and clouded by Xin Mo. Especially feel this way bc of the shot of him grabbing the sword, which awakes.

However, the prophet confuses me a lot because the snake skin and demon form remind me of Zhuzhi Lang. Which is kind of funny, since he and Bingge definitely can’t have such a good relationship :))))) I mean, he’d kill Bingge if he got the chance. It even funnier since I used to cosplay Zhuzhi Lang once with my friend, who cosplayed Bingge, we got a shot, with our hands around other throat which definetly not for a romantic kiss :)))
