Awesome! That brings back all these memories to an unforgettable night! Dany‘s smile when the crowd sung the intro! The crowd is mixed a little quiet here to let the ladies‘ voices shine… but I needed nearly two weeks until my voice fully recovered… thanks Don! 👍⚡️🤘
This warms my heart. Its now been 5 years since I watched Pau’s drum cover. I instantly knew these girls deserved more than a thumb’s up, so I became a patron. Talent like this needed to be bolstered, until they were ready to stand before the world on their own. Its almost as if I am a proud parent, suffering from empty nest syndrome. I could not be more proud of them, but now what can I do (other than continue cheering them on from afar). Dany, Pau and Ale are ready for whatever comes next, thanks to their wonderful upbringing. Just as importantly, they are willing to charge on into the wide world because they are courageous. Its not that they have no fear, but their work and preparation has put them in a place to meet all their goals, despite any hardships. To hear a crowd on another continent, an ocean away from their home, sing Choke back to them…..I have no words. The look of satisfaction on their faces was priceless. They have become what they wanted to be, and are living out their dream lives. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️
I absolutely idolize them... from the perspective of someone who never did quite live up to his potential.... and I love how they are doing everything possible to live the dream exactly how I would want to do it. Giving me inspiration to push myself harder now than ever before in my own life.
The look on Dany’s face during the crowd participation part is so genuine. She looked so happy and somewhat shocked at how well the crowd was feeding into it. If you watch enough of their live performances you’ll start to figure out when they’re truly impressed with the crowd energy and when they are being diplomatic. Most humans are subconsciously very good at reading facial cues so performance emotion is hard to fake. It’s really nice to see these young ladies break out into random, genuine smiles because they are getting so much joy while performing.
Yes that’s totally genuine here… It’s so clear. After a while yea it becomes a pattern I’m sure, but all three are very expressive visually when really feeling it…. I think it takes more for Ale to get affected like that, she can almost be more visual in her face than her sisters, when something truly has powerful impact on her
Well remember that this show took THREE YEARS to come to fruition. So not only was there the cathartic release on the part of both the audience and DPA that THIS WAS FINALLY HAPPENING but also the affirmation provided by the crowd that they'd bought/downloaded/streamed/learned the songs from ERROR that didn't even exist when they'd committed their dollars and quid to this show.
Yea, it seems they often (always) go harder live. Which tells me it’s what they love. & what I love, & what you love, & what everybody loves. It’s a 🤘🎸🫶 fest. 👏🇲🇽
I do agree about Dany's facial expressions during the opening of the song and her almost growl near the end. I hope that when I go see them again in Indy that the crowd participation is on point with this performance at the beginning. All I know for sure is that I'll be singing along with every song just like the last 2 shows I went to.
AWESOME.... yesterday my 15 yo son was putting on random The Warning songs... Pyschotic, animosity.... and singing along to every one of them word for word
CHOKE : Uno de los temas mas Rokeros de The Warning , CHOKE es fuego ,es un tremendo Rock ,es pasion ,un bello riff y que linea de bajo de Ale y que rellenos de bateria de Pau . este tema es puro poder

@@don-musicthat one is still a patreon exclusive (at least the entire song). Dany may have done a snippet during a Dany day live session, but I do not recall…..
Don - If you go back to the recorded version, I believe it was Dany singing Ale's little solo part. When they are live, Dany is still finishing her part when Ale starts. In the studio, Dany could do both parts, but not live. I wonder if they had to talk Ale into doing the solo. I think it was too low for Pau, so Ale had to do it. At one of the shows in Canada, when Ale had the flu, she only hit that first note on the solo, then Dany picked it up and finished it. Interesting how they always work things out.
their trading off of vocals is amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if Dany had to convince Ale to do the live bit... but ya never know... I mean Ale MUST enjoy it somewhat or else she simply wouldn't do it at all, I believe.
@@don-music On one of their older VLOGs, where they discuss making Queen of the Murder Scene, Dany says that she hits low notes that Pau struggles with. Ale was only 13 back then, and I think her voice is naturally lower now that she's older.
Interesting you bring up violin and getting past the technical proficiency to be able to convey feelings and emotions through your instrument. Dany sure can do that. I think that skill is one of the hardest to accomplish with a musical instrument. I also think that emotion and feel is very hard to teach someone. Being a good musician goes well beyond just the ability to play the notes on the page. I know that I am not the most technically competent woodwind player in my area, but I keep getting calls for performances over other more skilled players because I can play what the piece needs in style and emotion (or so I have been told by several band leaders and conductors). Not sure how I learned that, but I have not been able to explain it to other woodwind players who have asked me about it. LOL, I love that the alion fingers has managed to stick around--fits so well. I look at Dany's left hand and just shake my head. As I have been learning to play bass, I am using short scales. My hands have been broken and worn out by a lifetime of baseball, hockey, and foundry work, and I sure cannot stretch my hands like either Dany or Ale (her reach is extraordinary). I had not thought about the tempo of this song until you brought it up. I measure 88bpm for this one at the beginning (I did not check the entire song). One thing I think non-musicians may not appreciate is that I find it far harder to play slow tempos than playing fast ones. Yeah there are a lot of notes in fast songs, but it is far less important to get every note lined up and in sync than it is with slow songs. Often times it is the music's gestures and flow that is most important. One of the hardest charts I play regularly is a Neal Hefti tune written for Count Baise called "Lil' Darlin". It sounds so slow and easy, but OMG, it is hard to get it all lined up, and the amount of breath control required to keep the energy in the notes is very hard. Slow also allows/requires much more emotion in the control of notes and feel of the piece. Your comment about Pau keeping her fills consistent with the studio made me smile. Go watch the Rush in Rio performance and see 10,000 air drummers playing along with Neil. Talk about consistency.
That’s an amazing comment, my friend! Trying to master any instrument can drive one insane… because as with everything in life, if we are honest with ourselves and at assessing our performance, we will find that the more we learn… The more we come to realize that we don’t know.
