I was listening emerging bands around the world, most of them have kind of quality, but the level of the Warning is beyond the limits on this industry, period. Wow!!!!
You are a little late. They have emerged since they have already played Wacken and other festivals in Europe. A rising star doesn't get the invites they did in festivals. They will just keep getting more fans since they work so hard and keep getting better. Come back in 5 years and see how big they are then. Look out world The Warning is here.
@@don-music waiting for them to emerge because they already have. 4th album one VMA's and 1 EMA's they are not an up and coming band now they are there but not at the top yet.
@gzin33 I’m so confused. Where am i waiting for them to emerge? What did i do that was too late? You might be posting to the wrong person? I’ve been their supporter for 2 years, very dedicated, and i fixed what i believe is a flaw in their live mix of this song, so that Alejandra’s amazing bass work can be heard by all. I’m a huge fan and took my son to see them in Vancouver and it was the greatest thing we’ve both seen. What am i doing that suggests that you that I’m waiting for them to break out and become successful?
The original bass was performed by the one and only Flea! I was gonna say Taylor Hawkins on drums but he just did touring with Alanis and appeared in this video.
Thanks Don. This song may be one of the most clear examples what great teaching they got from Pablo. Ale so chill playing Flea's tasty bass line. Jazz album from Ale? She could do it. Pau with the lovely brush and cross-stick work. If you only knew DPA form this, you might never believe how hard they can go. They really could play anything, any style. I also love that Dany's vocals in this version are more of a demanding tone than what I always felt in the original.
Totally! Thank you! Yes this is one of her first chances to play something more technical, more funk jazz fusion style, less repetitive, full of famous licks yet with her own improv included…. And her own unique flawless tone and style… jaco would have been proud
@@don-musicI once saw a comment where the guy said, “Alé just ‘piddles along’ with her bass lines. She’s not good”. I showed him that video of her playing Jaco when she was 10-11years old-never heard another word from him!😆 She’s a prodigy Love this mix
It's really interesting to see Ale playing Flea's funky baseline and to see Pau playing cross stick and brushes. Both parts are so different from their usual style. And both of them crush it, of course.
Totally! But the entire mix is very listenable now…. The bass is a feature of this song, and needs to be where it is now, but drums guitar and vocals all shine so much also
Agreed completely!! I refused to let such brilliant bass playing be overlooked by poorly executed engineering…. And the whole band was outstanding! I’m so happy you felt the same way and appreciate this! Rock on!
Yeah,I know that the fandom tends to be "a bit" hyperbolic about the girls, and it may sound exaggerated at times (but it isn't !). But the bass lines in this song are of a complexity and style we never heard from Ale since her lessons days. Getting this was such a gift (wasted before your intervention)!
I agree. The quality of anything Sirius xm puts out is always trash. The cymbals sound like they're from a mid 80's mp3. I do like the remix to bring Ale's bass out more.
The laid back, eternally optimistic Ale...sure, deep in her soul, that someday they will give her a baseline she finds challenging to play. One of these days Ale...one of these days...
Great, Great Bass playing by Ali! She is so amazing! Danys vocals are so incredible! while playing such smooth guitar work. Pau is just laid back but she sounds amazing! The triple threat of The Warning 🔥🔥🔥

As good as Ale is, I always get the feeling she’s holding back as to not upstage anyone. Every time she plays it looks so smooth and effortless. Great mix Don. Thanks !
I actually believe you are correct. She is an academic player, extremely gifted, and went very far technically as a bassist and pianist actually before the rock bass thing really took over her life. She’s still got chops, and it was interesting to read a guitar magazine interview where she actually stated how she was trained in jazz fusion and idolized jaco pastorius… where in the past she kind of didn’t talk about her training and skills in jazz. So she’s maybe starting to own her skills and not be so afraid to demonstrate her chops… and maybe different taste in music… with her sisters. This mix, at least as far as levels go, is how it should have been done. I wish i could fix the drums too… they are terribly mixed for rock and with a proper bass level now it just isn’t as aesthetically pleasing. Oh well
imo this is their best cover to date, and you just improved it to the next level. Thank you so much, Sir. 👏
Wow, thank you! I agree this is an amazing cover
Great job, Don.
Thank you!
I have listened to the original sooo many times and I just found this that you have done: Thank you - it sounds fantastic - just love the extra ooomph the bass has now :)
Thank you! I love the extra helping of Ale. 😊
Can’t get enough lol
Estupenda interpretación al clásico de Alanis Morissette 👏👏👏👏🤟🤟🤟
Totally!!
This is the One! Thanks
Thank you!!!
Nice!
⚡️🔥🤘🤘😊
ESPECTACULAR, AMIGO.
OK, now that was a great rendition of the song and the bass is amazing. More songs need to equalize the bass better as you did here. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much!!!
Excellent job, Don. Bass coming through nicely without compromising the other instruments and vocals. Keep Rockin' my TWA hermanos 🤘⚡🤘
Awesome!! That was the goal! Thank you!
So good... thanks Don 🤩
My pleasure! Rock on!
Esto es mágico.
Locura!!! Thank you!
Nice work!
Hey thank you!!
It's perfect 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Ale's bass crush my head 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
I didn't think this could get any better well I was wrong, great job!
Thank you!
Thanks Don. Ale was awesome on this and it's great to really hear her work. They did a great job and I'm sure with their schedule they didn't get to rehearse the song too much.
Yea that’s the astonishing thing really about how amazing this is… the lack of time to prepare
i love that bassline
Me too… the original version flea did was awesome…. The other alternative version by another bassist was pretty humdrum, and Ale’s version is flea Mark II!
Hell yeah, Don! Nice job!
Muchas gracias Don,uuf que vaina tan buena!!!, saludos desde Venezuela 🤘😎
Hello all of Venezuela from western Canada!! Thank you so much!
@don-music saludos Don ,muy buen trabajo se aprecia mejor esa maravillosa línea de bajo.
Yes! 👏 What is it with these sound engineers that won't lean into the bass? It's only a 3 piece. Your remix sounds more like a Rush mix now, which i feel should be every song. 🤘⚡️
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING
I’m just speechless 🔥👍🏼❤️
Rock on!!
Am I the only one to notice Dany is using a thinner pick? Definitely not a big stubby, very noticeable in the slow strum at the bridge.
I was thinking that! Maybe not “thin”, but certainly not 3mm or 4mm lol with that thumb hold the stubby had
This remix in TOP! Amazing job!
Thank You Angel's
Agreed!!
Fantastic ....
Yea they are! and thanks
The Warning El Fuego 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Locura!!!
Ale's bass line is so sweet here. Actually much better than the Flea bass line on the original.
I mean, the original is amazing, but she did change it up and is much more solid funk rock grooving while he was less in the pocket and more soloing. I love both performances! But i do prefer ale’s…. Truly excellent and so cool… and her time feel is just wonderful
Very nice.
espectacular 🎉🎉
They are amazing; thanks for listening!
