❤ just beware. Liz Seibert did a response video too and said she no longer followed AS because her advice has not worked. Abbey made a a full blown victim video (mind you this woman is a 'professional ' and mid 30s of how she was shamed. It was actually vile to see. It's one thing for a professional to share experiences with past illness when they are fully recovered, however Abbey projects alot and is a bully. She said a girl looked anorexic for wearing shape wear. Has a whole satire (but not funny) on almond moms which is a restrictive disorder/clean eating. She made an over priced supplement but bashed any influencer before her. Just be careful because her community is toxic af. Keep doing what works for you

During the last 10 months Carnivore has helped me to Lower avg resting heart rate and BP from 160/110 to 130/85 Lower weight from 268 to 211 Eliminate joint pain throughout my entire body Improve my flexibility and strength Improve physical energy and libido Clear brain fog Enjoy beautiful deep restful sleep Regain the ability to do intense sprints Reverse my biological clock by at least 20 years but to be honest there is one major downside being that I had to buy a new wardrobe. Keep up the good work and sharing your journey on carnivore. Blessings!
Most diet studies are with VERY few participants. We are talking 10-20 individuals and on top of that they are usually only followed for 6-8 WEEKS. For you to be going on this 2+ years speaks to the efficacy for you. As a dietician she should know that.
Pro ballet dancer here and I’m so glad you called her out ❤ Nutrition is individual to our body and one size does not fit all. Abbey likes to target ballet dancers which is why I stopped following her. The community is also toxic and she has never been an athlete herself. She has no idea what fueling our bodies to dance in pointe shoes for several hours looks like. Keep on dancing 🩰💕
She also made false statements about Steve Zim who coached Alivia D’Andrea claiming he had said no fruit but in the original video he never said no fruit, he said processed sugar and I have his book which has several fruit smoothie and dessert recipes😂 I’ve also been doing his ATU training program which has been a game changer for dance technique and strengthening.
Although I haven't seen the video you are responding to, I'm sure she is just parroting the "nutrition advice" touted by the mainstream. I'm one year in, and carnivore has been one of the greatest discoveries of my adult life :-)
A.S. Generalizes everything and if you listen to her videos- MOST of her videos conflict both with each other and within themselves. Also she’s primarily a content generator. Hence her drama.
I’d say do what feels best. We don’t have any evidence for any long term diet as proven healthy. That being said if you noticeably feel, look and are healthier/better I’d say that’s the way to go
usually, any problem that you can talk about keto long term is because people obsess so much about being in ketosis all the time, when in reality, at least once a day we should be kicked out from ketosis (you don't need carbs for this, a good bolus of protein is enough to do raise insulin and to help you keep your minerals and thyroid function ok).
If you follow a very restricted diet, like keto, carnivore, vegan, or w/e, you should get your bloodwork done every once in a while. Just to make sure you are not difficient somewhere. A big problem could be that some difficiency sneaks up on you over the years and you dont notice because its so gradual.
Please do not justify your wonderful life style to a bully!!!! Carnivore works for a lot of us!!! We like it, we look good and have energy!!!! hmmmm and I am in my 70's lol Hugs
Abbey is frankly quite rude and nasty to a lot of people. Instead of politely discussing various diets, she routinely rips people to shreds for no reason and is often wrong. As a registered dietician, she should know that everyone's body and ideal diet is unique to them, but it would seem that's lost on her.
Love your attitude and your confidence and self control speak volumes!! Keep doing what your doing! 🙏🏻❤️

Is keto alright long term? I'm also curious about mediteranean. Trying to figure out whats the best way to fuel myself as a dancer and active person.

👏👏👏 great response!
That horrible Abbey Sharp goes for all the carnivores, poor Liz quit making food videos because of her!
Long term I’ve been wanting to die for almost 6 years 😂
Good job for calling her out. Registered dieticians ☠️💀 unfortunately are not the ones we need to turn to for nutritional advice
Love the video😊
