Even The Tates say they still value their friends from way back in Luton who are still there In ordinary jobs & live modestly. They go visit them when in the area & appreciate them as friends. There’s no problem with spreading one’s wings & venturing out, making new friends who share your desire for money or are on an elevated success level than your own & you can strive to join them. Friends do not need to be joined at the hip or involved in your professional life. They are a friend not a colleague, friendship is a bond between 2 people that is multifaceted & a personal connection on a deeper level than associates.
