At long last and countless visits in hopes of a soft opening Jurassic World The Ride has graced us with its presence . Yesterday I waited 8 hours with no luck . Today ...success !

Im kinda bummed that the entrance is gone. Going in through those gates with the jurassic park theme playing was so magical

Me too! I lile the theme music and when the gates used to open it was so beatuful with dinaours and the jungle. I cant believe they removed that part of it.

People were worried about it being all screens, but the screens used are used extremely well, I'm very impressed. I hope they keep Florida's as jurassic Park

Yeah, gotta say that mososauraus enclosure was actually pretty damn convincing. They nailed the perspective from the viewpoint of the boats.

I like the Original Jurassic Park ride better honestly. The opening of the gates and the iconic music and the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" was awesome on the ride. Hopefully, they don't change the one in Orlando just yet.
From what I've heard, they keep up maintenance on the ride in orlando, while hollywood was left to rot and was in desperate need of a face lift so i wouldn't worry about them changing the orlando version anytime soon.

I think they have to change it soon. Universal's contract with Jurassic Park is coming to a close.
@Phantomthievius 0386 From what I remember, the contract with Michael Crichton was for 3 movies, which we already got. That's why Universal started Jurassic World, which is technically its own original franchise. This is another reason why this ride was changed.

This is only a soft opening and have said somethings may not not be working properly just yet. They're still in the process of making sure everything is right. Once the official opening happens I'm sure it'll be timed better.

The ride got Stuck maybe cause of the boat(s) in the Station have not been dispatched i dont think that the boat is suppose to stay there
gissneric not really and also they moved the T. rex that was there to the studio tour stuff and that’s a new one.
This new version of the ride feels a bit rushed in my opinion.

Yeah it looks poor, nothing that interesting, the end of boring, was better when the trex just popped out at the end, no suspense on this.
The beginning of the old ride was the most immersive part with the brachiosaurus eating the vegetation and actually caused the rider to look around and enjoy the scenery. They replaced that with a tv screen, covered that whole area up, and moved some of the other animatronics to make it seem different. Disappointed that the favorite ride of my childhood has been replaced with tv screens.
One section is screens and a very good one. Those brachiosaurus broke down too often.

@@maxmusic5380 you are very wrong my friend it's usually a 10-20 year contract and it pays well of course I was joking about the billions but I'm sure it was well over a million for each ride for the life of the ride at the park usually 15- 20 years . When Ellen's energy contract at epcot expired and exons sponsorship expired they took the ride down. I'm an actor

the T Rex pop out at the end before the last hill seemed much farther away and less scary than the original rendition of the ride, but overall the ride looks much better.
The timing on his ride was off. I’ve seen other videos where the Rex come out close to the drop

The end must be cut a bit, I've seen other uploads where the T. rex pops out where it did in this video, but also pops back out right before you plummet, like the old ride.
I think it's too bad that they didn't bring back the falling Ford Explorer.

It would've been cool if they added a broken gyrosphere falling into the water making a huge splash of water.

I love and appreciate that they added more detail into the ride, to make the ride more intense! Every little detail counts!
I was in line for this Yesterday July, 5th. I loved it. Had great memories going on this ride as Jurassic Park with my family. Glad I've got to experience Jurassic world with my family yesterday. Loved the added Blue Animatronic.
Underwhelming, uninspired. Looks like something is missing from middle part.

The timing of the ending has been different in each ride-thru video I've seen so far.
robotwolf True that. That’s why they’re doing these soft openings to check what needs to be fixed/improve before they open the ride to the public.
They are having issues with syncing
Yeah they are trying to time the Trex diving at u with the boat drop
Can we appreciate the fluidity of that blue anamatronic though its movents are so fluid it looks like someone in a suit
The shark being eaten at the beginning was sweet...the fact that they took the time to make water come over the top is great detail. Looking forward to riding this one.
What camera do you use?? Your camera seems to work in the dark better than other videos I’ve seen lol I need one for horror nights!

I feel like they would sell the Mosasaurus effect better if they had another gate to keep the outside light out before you enter the Stegosaurus area.

OHHhh My Gooodnessss, this is bringing back so many memories of when I used to work there. Watching the first opening of "Jurassic Park", the movie. But, "Back to the Future" was the ride and newest sensation at that time and when it opened - The workers got the whole park to ourselves to seriously - run-a-muck. Thank you for this trip down a new memory lane...
I love when the boat turns to Indy and the huge frame is where rexy comes out and if only mosasaur showed up on the right, that could've made us more epic but I love it!
Awesome footage!!! All your videos are great to watch especially for people that can't get out there or go to some places. I've been ever amusement park over countless times but never been to universal and can't wait to see everything after watching your clips.
Original was better. Just like Tower of Terror at California Adventure.... neither was broken Why did they have to “fix” 🥺
The Tower of Terror version at CA Adventure was the 'cheap' version, so you could say it was always 'broken'. It did not compare to the superior one in Florida. I was skeptical at first, but very very impressed with Guardians of the Galaxy. The line queue is amazing and now you have 6 different ride routines, just like the Florida version. The 4K video is very immersive, far better than the old Twilight Zone effects. I miss the art deco design, but I enjoy Guardians much more now. And for Halloween, they completely change the ride with a whole new ride routine, new story, and new video effects.
Pete I agree! That was the first TOT I went on! I’m saying that changing the original theme at California Adventure was a crappy move.
It’s like a kids ride now- the dinosaur that scared you at the end was the best part!

Kinda miss 2 things
1.The waterfall
2.The T. rex jumping out right before the drop
This was the BEST video of this ride Ive seen yet. Thanks. So glad you kept the camera recording the full events without too many closeups of each creature. It made me really feel like I was on the ride. Nice job. I hope they do something similar to the Florida version. Id say this was scarier for me then the original.

So glad they kept some of the original bits, but the new one looks so much better. I love the inclusion of Chris Pratt on the screens. Haven't been to Universal since they closed the Back to the Future Ride. Might be worth a visit this Christmas.

Thanks for capturing! Can't wait to go ride this soon. JP is my favourite movie, and the ride was like living the movie for me, but then over the years it got worse and more stuff broke and I know attractions can't stay forever so I guess I should just be glad they've breathed new life into an old attraction which should hopefully mean it'll be in the park for maybe another 15-20 years.....
I think I’ll always have Jurassic park the ride in my heart forever! But this looks soo cool!!! I’m excited for it!
This looks fun, but I feel like I might be the only hater who thinks animal animatronics haven't improved much over the past 25 yrs
Kristen Scott in fact, these animatronics in particular look horrible . you can actually see the joints/parts on their body . pause at 3:09 and look at the raptor’s leg. you can see the separation between parts.

Predator cove is a bit boring, no animatronics there nothing! Should add something it's like 20 seconds without anything

pppffff... did they really take 10 months for that? what a bummer, I was expecting so much more, it is more of the same with a few enhancements. Not worth it, and I was upset because my annual pass just expired.

Is it just me, or is this a little underwhelming. The possibilities were great, I mean it's a theme park ride based on a theme park. They could have done so much cool stuff with it.

We went to the Dallas zoo last week, they have it made up like Jurrasic park, complete with huge animatronics!! T-Rex, raptors all that good stuff!!

I would say that it is a good update to the ride. Still get all the good elements from the last one plus extras.
At predator cove, either get ride of the big door or the broke bars. We get it escaped, replace one of those two with something else, like put in a pterodactyl trying to get at you though the bars or something, or have the I Rex bust the doors open in front of you, maybe put a ACU truck on its side or something from the time you get into the cove till you go up the hill no dinosaur.
I'm glad the ride got an update.

Too similar to the original with less dinosaurs. Though the inside reskin was nice.
Fewer dinosaurs.
Many of the older dinos just didn't plain work.
A good bit of the dinosaurs were great...when not malfunctioning and in disrepair, which was often because they were so prone to mechanical issues.

@@619able it's not confirmed. Only if the success of this ride is significant enough for them to change it. I don't think they should though. I just went to Orlando and their river adventure is in great shape! It's not as good as our old River adventure but it's still nice and should stay for as long as possible

Your work is great, but the ride is a disappointment for me. The screens and outdoor animatronics look terrible. The indoor animatronics are not awful, but as a package the attraction is underwhelming.
