Jurassic world will open on Memorial Day... a kindly employee(super nice) named Hermina working in the studio cafe gave us discounts on the freestyle cups and invited my family and I on Memorial Day to Jurassic world it's grand opening...feburary 9th was my first visit

I worked at universal studios Hollywood from 2015-2017, we know a secret life of pets attraction will be built. Originally planned for the lower lot, I believe it’s planned for the upper lot near despicable me. And also Super Nintendo world will be coming on the lower lot. Gotta love those “supervised” back lot tours, many team members go running on the backlot after work and it’s incredibly peaceful! Thanks for the post.

I know Toothless is supposed to look scary but that costume just looks creepy like a gargoyle and the way he creeps 😨
Hopefully they make some subtle changes to improve it, because they have the right idea, it just needs a few improvements
He could seriously use some tech that makes the whole costume look more fluid. Right now it looks too obvious there's someone in the costume. The legs are way too rigid.

Pretty sure the Silver Globe was sent to California in late 1999/early 2000. It was relocated temporarily to the side while constructing City Walk and Islands of Adventure. After that a new one was added so it was no longer needed and it was sent off.

Adam, I noticed from one of your past Universal Studios that the area where they do the outside flooding was used in the movie Fletch Lives. Pretty neat to see it from both sides. Love the Burbs too. Can you always walk around those areas?

The globe was moved to Hollywood in 1996. They moved it here when Orlando began construction on City Walk and thier transformation into a 2 park Resort. The globe was also one of the main features of Universal Studios Hollywood new main entrance plaza which included the iconic arch and red carpet in 1996.

I use to go to Universal almost every other week as a kid. I haven't gone in years. Im planning to go when the new jurrasic world attraction opens.

Poor Jaws the ride. That mural would be a nice arm piece or leg tattoo. I didn't know you could personally walk around the back lot. Very, very, nice Psycho ambiance.
It's not open for the public to just walk around he needed a Universal ID or escort to walk around the backlot.

The Universal Monsters mural looked AWESOME! My grandparents are going to take me and my brothers back to Universal for the summer and my older brother is going to freak out when he sees that mural. He loves classic monsters!

As a kid we were on the Universal Tram ride when they were FILMING "The Burbs"! It was the scene were they were running from there house across the lawns into the other one! *I realize this is a 4 yro video. Lol I'm late to The Woo!
