Good Morning ! Today I am taking you on a walk ....sharing a breakfast and a few snacks to help you meet your protein goals....PROTEIN is KING if you want to lose the stubborn belly fat ...but especially after menopause. Exercise is Key for a healthy life...move your body as much as you can if you are able...take nothing for granted. I have lost over 25 pounds eating the foods I love...I gave up nothing ....unless it bothered my stomach...like my beloved CHEESE....How is your journey going...share in the comments!

Hi Tammy! Still going strong on my ‘back to health’ journey I started with you a bit ago with all the goodies you ‘prescribed’. LOVE LOVE how I’m feeling! I hit a plateau this week…and I would have been so dissapointed if I hadn’t heard you say you hit one too (bit ago). I give myself permission to live life…to enjoy and not be hung up (too much) on what the scale says. Learning how to love myself in the moment..no matter what! That’s the hardest part..not beating myself up for the whatever’s. Learning so much about my body..mental health, boundaries (with my food) and keeping the train smooth and running. Never too late to do this (68 yrs) . LOVE so much that you show us ‘what you eat’ type struff…gives me great incentivied ideas…as I can get stuck in ruts! lol. Still loving the app…OMG..I could have NEVER done this without it. You are looking fabulous and more energized every video you do…Thank you Tammy!

Wow, that walk you took is amazing, what I loved most about it is that there wasn't a soul in sight with the exception of the man on a bike and a couple coming your way.
The way that you are showing folks how to begin to take charge of their body/life is truly a gift...There is a measure of power and joy in taking control over our lives...TFS 💜
Every morning I eat 3/4 cup oatmeal with a bit of whole milk, a tablespoon brown sugar, a little less than a serving of slivered almonds and a pinch of cinnamon. This keeps me full for the whole day. I then eat a home cooked meal for diner which sometimes does not contain meat and often includes a salad (never take out or processed anything) I have fruit for dessert but I'm a baker and I do have cake or something like that sometimes. It's just a regular diet. When I was loosing the weight (50lbs) I ate a little less for breakfast and didn't eat baked desserts very often. I walk but nothing major. I'm 58 years old and now weigh 144 lbs which I'm happy with.

I hear you...my whole life was spent in Buffalo NY...the snow capital of the WORLD...lol...the winters were almost unbearable...so long and COLD
So refreshing to See a middle aged woman embrace her genuine self with such grace and dignity. It's comical yet sad to observe Lisalisad1 trying to desperately remain relevant and turn back time. She's competing with her 21 year old self and it only she's her. You can no longer even recognize her. So sad

What a gorgeous neighborhood you live in… flowers, palm trees & water!!!! I definitely don’t prefer walking outside in the cold so I include my walks at the gym usually after my workout classes. Been on this “getting fit & healthy” journey since Nov 2021! Almost down 35# but striving to hit 40#. I feel so much better and a MUCH BETTER OUTLOOK ON LIFE at almost 65 🎂❤️

That's one heck of a walk! 8o minutes...wow! I'm a walker too. But 30-35 minutes is my regular distance. But I have COPD...and that works well for me. It keeps my lungs open and makes me feel great! I just started back with IF 3 days ago and already feel better, lighter, calmer.. The scale finally is heading in the right direction. You motivate me in every video. :)

What a beautiful area to walk in. I love that whole area in Florida. It’s just beautiful! I walk a brisk 4 mile walk every morning! I feel as long as I get that done I’m good. I do have a Total Gym and work out on it 3 to 4 times a week. I will be 69 in March and I’m thankful to be able to keep moving! Thanks for the beautiful video.

It's definitely been brisk a lot this winter! But once you get going you do warm up quickly, especially in the sun. My hubby and I went on a sunrise walk two Fridays ago. Beautiful Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa.

What a great video. The other day other day I went for a walk without my dog and felt so bad. But I had the same thought you did. He has a huge backyard to run in all day, I go running with him and we walk him all the time. I always joke I will need to get him running sneakers. So once a week to get a good walk in where I don't have to stop and pull is amazing. Love hearing you say the same thing. Thank you for your videos. Amazing!

Thank You Tammy for sharing what you eat in a day and taking us along on your beautiful walk, if I had scenery like that, I’d be out walking every day but I mow twice a week and that takes me 3 hours at a time, so that’s basically my exercise for the week, I don’t have time to go walking every morning, so I incorporate a chore into my exercise routine. Congratulations on your weight loss, very inspiring for us. Love these types of videos you have started to share with us, keeps us accountable and we get to see that you do not deprive yourself of good healthy foods. My problem is I don’t know how to be creative in what I eat, I usually eat the same things over and over and sometimes it gets boring. What a beautiful place you live in for those beautiful walks, you are so blessed, I would walk outside too, I live in the hill country in TX and at 69 I can’t do those steep hills anymore but I do have a treadmill but it’s not the same as being able to walk outside. What app did you say you used to get you started on knowing how many carbs/protein/fat one should eat in a day to lose weight. I’ve seen the carbs your consuming but I guess it wasn’t like that in the beginning but because you’ve lost the weight and added muscle you can now eat more? So confusing because carbs have never been my friend.🥰😘

Tammy, Love this video. So inspiring. It's great that you're including what you eat. I started doing macros last month and quickly lost 5lbs. Then I stopped because I got covid along with my husband and son. Then Christmas and New Year's happened and a drop off at college this past week in Syracuse. I gained a few pounds back. The commitment is difficult for me. I do not take time for myself and get sucked into helping everyone else with their life and put mine on hold. Can you talk about commitment and also traveling i.e. road trips doing macros?? Would love to hear your perspective on commitment. Thanks again for the motivation. I'm going back to macros because it does work. Just can't get distracted with the demands of my family life.

Thank you SO much for sharing what is working so well for you. I’ve done low carb(not Keto) for years off and on and it works well for my belly fat, but after awhile I miss some foods and certain carbs! I’m going to look into this new way of eating you’ve discovered. ☺️

Must get my macros sorted as believe this would work for me, need to loose about 5 kilos.

Great job! I walked 80 minutes too on my treadmill as it has been snowing non stop! That weight is going to melt right off you! I'm 61 and sometimes I end up a little under weight. I am never hungry, I eat a lot!

No it is not....You are probably very important and blessed with family and friends...my mother lived in a much smaller apartment with much less was single for probably most of her adult life ..she died happy because she was loved by her children, family and friends...things really don't matter in the end...although I do wish you had a companion....
This was such a fun video! Love your new area. I also have two doodles(my babies) and they always walk with us. I feel so much guilt if we don’t take them but the walk is definitely not as smooth and rewarding fitness wise. ( so many bunny distractions). How did your doodles do transitioning to the southern climate? My two hate the heat! We live in Massachusetts and they hate the hot summers.

I completely agree, a walk is truly one of the best things & I know that it will take me through a lifetime of good health (physically and mentally). ♥️💋
Isoprure is the best! I lost 120 lbs after WLS 8 yrs ago and we all live on it just after surgery. The plain can be added to water or soup and it dissolves wonderfully. My eating consists of eating one ingredient foods but no carbs or sugar.
