Wow, looks sweet! I stumbled across this video somehow trying to find a way to pait a rifle handguard to match a houge red lava furniture kit, which is made out of 2 colors of melted rubber. And the soundtrack is killer, btw.
Hi Carlos, thanks very much! Yes, I think this would work if you use Tamiya spray cans, which are top quality and allow for really fine control for the form factor. Good luck!
No idea, Calebs - I have not used any Citadel paints in the last 20 years…It can definitely be replicated with Vallejo or Scale75 Metal Color for all the metallics. The best clear paints are from Tamiya and Mr. Color.
Black primer, overbrush iron warriors, then heavy drybrush of leadbelcher then drybrush stormhost silver, after you done this apply contrast red of choice may not get exact same result as here but should give good result
Something fishy here. Custodes only ever take to the field in support of the Emperor, or by his direct command. Seeing as how OP af they are, nothing should take them months to finish. Acid rain dulling them down would work of course. Especially if it's raining heavily during the short time they usually fight.
Hahah, it did take them quite a long time in the Webway! Also we know that for some Custodes, “the terrible glory of their golden plate is dulled with soot to a menacing black” (Abnett 2023).
just came here to say excellent choice of background music
Hahah, very well, thank you!
Very cool result, thank you !
Glad you liked it, Forger!

Hah, that's really interesting, thank you! Hope it's of some use despite the difference in...genre! 😉
Awesome techniques. Beautiful panels. They look alive. 👍😁
Thank you kindly, and happy that you enjoyed the video!
Woah! That looks incredible. Great video.
Thanks a lot, Game of Jones!
Cool tutorial.
Thank you.
Very nice! I'm supposed to be getting my first bottles of xtreme metals tomorrow. Looking forward to trying them out.
Sounds great, have fun airbrushing!
Looks amazing, do you think it will work the same way using spray cans?

@TheRaceForTerra thanks for the confirmation, I'll go order some tamiya cans for my grav tank :)
Can this be done with Citadel paints?

@@TheRaceForTerracan you give details on what you used on the weathering? What scale75 oil? I’m not familiar with “oil brushes”
Do you know if this is possible with a brush/no airbush?😅
