Excellent video. Exact model I have and the exact problem. After reassembly it took 3 pulls to start it. Only one screw left over when I finished!! A win for the Army vet!
One screw left is not bad at all. Probably one of the screws that holds the handle in place. Glad my video was helpful!
Excellent job. Great video tutorial. Save hundreds! Thank you.
Thank you for watching my video. Glad I was able to help you save hundreds 🫡
Thanks for this video. I follow every suggestion and it works great. You just save me hundreds! (And my wife is happy😅). We live in PR and the power utility is very fragile since hurricane Maria. 👍
I’m glad my video was helpful.
Thank you! Followed your steps and brought my generator back to life. Took me around 2 hours as it was my first time attempting something like this and was extra careful.
Great to read you were able to get your generator back to life. It doesn’t matter how long it took, what matters is that you fixed it. Thank you for watching my video 🙏🏾
Thanks!!!!!
Gracias
Gracias a ti por ver mi video.
Great video! I sure would like you to do a review on one of our portable inverter generators!
Thanks for watching my video 🙏🏾 What portable inverter generators you have?
Greetings, disassembling the carburetor of my ipower 2000, a piece fell out that is like a pellet. Do you have any idea from where it is?
Greetings, message me at my instagram account Tacticalpowerpro or email me a photo of the piece that fell out. Once I see the pellet you are describing I can tell you what and where it goes to.
@@tacticalpowerpro give me your email address
@@tacticalpowerpro I sent a photo to the email. Thanks

Tu mejor opción sería contactar a Andeman directo.
Very good video, great information.
Thanks for watching! Glad my video was helpful.
Perfect video. Thank you. Back in business...
You’re welcome! I’m glad my video was helpful, thank you for watching my video.

Great video! Thanks for the help.
Thanks for your comment and for watching my video. Glad it was helpful.
Hey!! I took mine out today to maintain it. Didn’t start. I clean everything like you showed.
Now it does starts but it shuts down under load 😏😏 what can I do??
Hey! If it’s shutting down under load then verify that the spark plug is cleaned and gapped correctly and the spark arrester is not clogged with carbon.
Thx man !! Great Vid and practical clean of the Carby
Thanks for watching my video man. I’m glad you like it!
Saludos
Excelente demostración. Para el modelo SUA2000i será similar ?
Saludos! Gracias por ver mi video. Para la SUA2000 es el mismo proceso pera la diferencia esta en como remover el panel para tener acceso al carburador. Toda la limpieza es la misma. Alguna duda o problema no dude en dejarme saber.
@@tacticalpowerpro muchas gracias
Good good video 👍🏾
@@percynorris2498 thank you!
There's another main jet and emulsion tube up in the pipe in the bowl???why didn't you bother to clean those??
Thank you for your comment and for watching my video. This generator does not have an extra main jet, only has the emulsion tube up in “the pipe” and in this video I used a carburetor cleaning brush and cleaned it without pulling it out. I have other videos in which have done a deeper clean of the carb and pulled the emulsion tube out but in this case it wasn’t necessary.
Mine - bad camshaft
I had less than a year!
Called the company and they sent just the motor!
2 year warranty!
Oh wow, that’s nice.
Great video, I missed the pilot jet. Mine runs in Start position but dies in Run so I think its the pilot jet not providing enough air. I have a question. The tube that connects to the carburator in your video is disconnected on mine. Do i need to connect it?? The elbow doesnt fit.
Thanks for watching my video. If the generator dies on run then you might need to deeply clean the emulsion tube and the pilot jet.
Also, what tube are you referring to? The one at the bottom of the carburetor?
@@tacticalpowerpro the black hose that appears to connect to the air intake.
@@RanchoNomada The black hose you mentioned is the valve cover breather hose. It goes from the valve cover out to the intake.
Hey bro, I have a problem with my generator, exactly this model SUA2000i. I don't know where the wire goes to open and close the valve. Can you show me that part? It would be a great help, from where it is placed to the carburetor.
Of course brother I’m here to help. If you send me a photo to my Instagram @tacticalpowerpro I can see exactly what wire you’re referring to and tell you where it goes to.
Can you please do a Nexpow YH2200i?
The air filter bin is a part of the entire central housing, and that 10mm bolt is impossible to remove.
I will try to find a Nexpow YH2200i, but that is one chinese generator I haven't seen or worked on. I did a quick search on that generator and after looking at some photos of it, I recommend removing the two nuts holding the carburetor, remove the black intake rubber hose from the air filter bin, and slide out the carburetor. Thanks for your comment and for watching my video.
Thanks for your help. I'm back to square 1 again. This time, it's a tight pull cord. It won't start. I suspect that the carb is flooded. 🤷♀️ I'm learning as I go. But that might be a video idea. I'll probably have it fixed by that time, but it sure makes life easier when ppl can tap into videos like yours.
I'm off grid, and my little inverter generator is quieter and more convenient than the bigger one. I'll probably just invest in a Jackery.
@@sunnyseason6543 Thanks for keeping me updated on your situation, I'll gladly help. You are on the right track, if you are having trouble with a hard pull start a possible issue is liquid on top of the piston. Like you mentioned if the carburetor flooded, too much fuel reaches the piston and it cannot compress it. Remove the spark plug (without the spark plug the cord should be very easy to pull), close the fuel valve and pull the cord. If there is any liquid inside, it should come out with a few pulls.
¿Ese árbol es de aguacate?
Es un árbol de palta.
Excellent video. I have the same model and I've only used it a few times over the past year just to run fuel through it. The guages on mine that display fuel level and power load have never worked. Since I noticed that you had the front panel off of yours can you advise if those displays might be connected to a connectirized cable that could have come loose? Thanks and keep up the great vids.
Of course, I will check tomorrow morning and give you an answer. Thanks for watching my video!
@@tacticalpowerpro thank you! I took it upon myself to take the front panel off after I asked you. Just came in from looking and I found 3 connectirized cables. I reseated all 3 and put it back together. I had no luck getting the displays to work. Only the fuel guage and power guage are not working. All other displays are working. I suppose they aren't deal breakers because my big 6kw gas hog doesn't provide that either but it'd be nice to have. Thanks so much for getting back with me. If a fix crosses your mind I'll be right here!
That's great that you took it upon yourself and checked the connections. I will definitely let you know if something crosses my mind.
If I'm not mistaken I read earlier you only used the generator just to run fuel through it, have you loaded the generator and demanded enough power for it to read at the gauge?
@@tacticalpowerproI briefly plugged a load in when I first fired it up a while back but I don't recall that it displayed power usage or fuel level but I'll do it again tomorrow and report back. Also I read my manual and it has a 3 year warranty so if I don't resolve it then I'm guessing they'll repair it. Thanks!
@@yamahagrand definitely keep me updated, thank you!
I have a problem my pull string stuck.. I’m lost on what to do
It could be due to a few things. But must likely your pull start assembly is damaged.
Thank you
Thanks to you for watching my videos
Instruction state first pull in the choke position and then only 3 more pulls max in the start position. This would avoid flooding the carburetor. Your first pull was in the start but should have been chock. Good video about cleaning the carburetor but notice you did start in the choke position at the end of video and it started right up. A new carburetor would have run you $45.
Thank you for watching my video. I’m confused by your comment tho, the Start position is the Choke position (Start/Choke) I did 3 pulls max on the Start/Choke position then moved the switch to Run and did one pull. I used the correct steps to try to start it but did you see the conditions of the main jet? It wouldn't have start even if you offered it a lifetime supply of fuel and a motivational speech from Dominic Toretto. At the end of the video I started the generator in the Start/Choke position and then moved it to the Run position (to avoid flooding) like I did in the beginning but this time with a cleaned carb, reason why it started right up.
How can I know the model or size of the “main jet” to buy a replacement?
Some main jets have the size or model engraved or printed on the jet itself. The jet size depends on the engine and the altitude you are located. And honestly for how cheap you can buy the carburetors for these inverters you are better off buying the entire carb new. 🤷🏾♂️
Can the fuel be turned off and the carb run dry between uses?
No, the way the fuel valve on these Ai-power inverters (and other brands of similar size) work is they integrated the fuel valve, the choke and the ignition switch all together in one switch (the start, run, stop switch). So if you close the fuel valve at the same time it will ground the ignition switch turning the generator off. Hope I was able to explain it clearly.
@tacticalpowerpro just a thought could I install an aftermarket fuel valve in the line I ask because we have one being shipped ATM and would like to avoid as many problems as possible. Thank you for your time.
@@user-hy9pu6lb6t if you really need to yes, you can add an aftermarket fuel valve in the fuel line like you mentioned but it will be uncomfortable to open and close due to the tight space inside these small inverters.
@@user-hy9pu6lb6t use SeaFoam fuel treatment in your gasoline and start the generator at least once a month and you won’t have any issues.
@@tacticalpowerpro thank you for the advice
Why does it get clog up
It gets clogged up due to the lack of use. Gasoline sits in the carburetor bowl for months and starts deteriorating, turning into varnish and clogging the carburetor jets.
@@tacticalpowerpro wow thank for responding my answers I never had someone responding my comment
