This sounds terrific and seems like and incredible way to create a lot of interesting music and just to have fun experimenting and coming up with ideas. Is this RTS system something you are planning to sell? Are you building all these patterns and things into it so that it is fully functional product that is ready to play with? I have ReMIDI 2 but I stopped using it because I got frustrated with aspects of it that weren't working well for me. But I will upgrade my OSX and try again.

Zedxxx9, thx for your comments. RTS started as a small experiment and has grown into something really interesting with tons of potential imo. Remidi is a very basic controller but imagine having a custom controller made for RTS. At the same time I am learning many aspects of orchestration and the fundamentals of harmony as I work on RTS. So this idea just keeps growing and expanding. If possible I want to create a dedicated plugin for RTS. I have never had so much fun with a music system. Ideally If I had my own RTS plugin you would load it and configure everything once then, after that its plugin play, adding new theme paks every 3 months or so.

@@41Fingers -- Fantastic! I'm really excited about this. Today's video made me wish that I had the whole thing set up as you do so that I could just dive right in. The easier you can make it so that it is all set up in a dedicated plugin, the better. I think this could be a very popular product, and I like your plan of continuing with new theme paks as you gather together more chord sets and patterns. Very exciting. Thanks for the quick response! (P.S. I added Perc X to my wish list too... that really helped with your demo today.)

@@41Fingers Thank you! So as you can see, I am mainly a drummer. I heavily rely on Scaler to write melodies and chord progressions. I am super into guitar vsts, and am trying to write some basic r&b and soul guitar parts (strummed chords with little melodic riffs in between, hammer on's, etc.). I would love to somehow have a bank of midi performances that I can make and edit myself that I can then filter through Scaler to play my selected chords I want and and have the midi performance adapt based on the chord I select. I wish I could do this natively in Scaler, but the closest thing is their "strummed performances" and they are very limiting and you can't edit the phrase at all. Would you have any recommendations on how I could accomplish this with any of the tools you have come across? The other question would then be setting it up routing wise in Ableton.

@@ryanjamescarr That's a good question let me do some tests. do you have something like an ample guitar vst? and do you have remidi?

@@41Fingers I have remidi trial (don’t know how to use it and didn’t think you could customize the patterns too much) and ample sound stratacastor guitar. I don’t know how to route those three together to make it work.
