The multiple VSTi workflow didn't work for me (Studio One) until I saw this video that explains you have to select Channel 17 for VST instrument 2 then Channel 33 for VST instrument 3 etc. I'm guessing you could also 'teach' RC that your VSTi is multi-timbral e.g. Kontakt, Sampletank, Falcon etc and have it communicate on x 16 MIDI channels? Wish someone had told me this all those years ago when I first bought RC. Superb video. You are a godsend. At this rate you could start a new religion: the Church of the 41 Fingers. Amen brother.

FYI: The advice about "select Channel 17 for VST instrument 2 then Channel 33 for VST instrument 3 etc" may be necessary for some DAWs (Studio 1?) but is certainly not necessary if you are using Reaper, where you can just set your channels 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...
