- This video is a detailed step by step tutorial on how to crochet a pretty puff stitch flower granny square. These granny squares make a lovely crochet blanket / throw / afghan / baby blanket.
For my granny squares I used a 4mm crochet hook, Drops Lima yarn and US terms.

I made this blanket 4 years ago and am thinking of doing another one. Sure wish you had included attaching them together. I would also enjoy seeing the border that is on this blanket.
Loving this so far! I've done mine a little differently using different thick yarns and a bigger hook and it's fantastic!

Would you please advise on how much yarn one would need for a baby blanket? Would 100grams each of the off white, light pink, dark pink, green and blue suffice? Or would I need more of any particular colours? (how many motifs might I need approximately?)

This seems like it would be easier in the end since it is different than the regular Puff Stitch but just as great by doing all the Dbl. crotchets together! Very interesting & looking forward to trying this method first! Thank you so much for this version! 😊😊😊

I love your joining it makes it look like it is all one, I saw below you said you used the slip stitch method, I have never seen one that lays like yours. thank you for the tutorial I made this afagen in a queen size with 4 different color flowers, after placing the leaves I went around it 3 times in cream as to make a bigger square it came out so beautiful my favorite afagen to date you explained everything so perfectly.I wish I could post a picture.

Would you consider doing a blanket buddy tutorial? This is a blanket with the head of a stuffed animal so it looks like it's wearing a dress. I've wanted to make but haven't found any tutorials.
