i already knew this one but decided to stick around to see if there's anything new to learn and i'd like to point out again how you really take your time to talk through small details like putting the hook from the back, pulling on the chain ring, making the corners. really does a lot for beginners like i once was! keep it up!!
I have ADD. I’ve always wanted to learn new things in crochet other than a single and a double crochet stitch. Reading a pattern is the most difficult. Your videos have made me understand, proud of what I can accomplish and finally have that “ah ha” moment”. Thank you so much! Love this! Made it the first time with no problem! When I first started learning to crochet it took 2 years to finally be able to make a square dishcloth (that is even and has proper tension) because all I had access to back in the day was the library.
Beautiful Robyn! You are such an amazing teacher. You are always so good to have a clear video showing what you are doing & your explanations are terrific. With my traumatic brain injury I'm now a visual learner so you are a go to for me, I'm so thankful for you. You keep me company through your videos too, like visiting with an old friend. 💜
Omgoodness!! This is so gorgeous!! This just keeps getting better!! You are the queen of tutorials. Thank you Robin for sharing your expertise in crochet.
I made a square yesterday! It turned out fabulous. I plan on doing one a day for a year and make a king size bedspread for my grandson. All from scrap yarn no less! Thank you! You are a blessing!
I've fallen in love! Just started my first afghan tonight. These puffy little flowers are so much fun to work up and your tutorial makes it so easy. Thank you, Robin! Wish me luck!
I just completed my first ever popcorn granny square with your tutorial and I am in love!!! I can barely wait to start the next one. I had so much fun with it. Thank you so much Robin! 🥰
Robyn I cannot thank you enough. I am in my early 70's, and decided to try granny squares with my sister in law. I am so blessed that your tutorial was the first I saw! I have successfully tried most of your squares. You are an amazing teacher. I am truly hooked now! ❤❤❤
This is beautiful! The only trouble is, is that every time i watch one of your videos, I have to make something with that stitch! I have sooo many projects on the go! Lol 😊
I love it .I crochet all the time ,since I don't work anymore. 2013 I had to stop working and move in with my son. Because of my health. I thought I would go nuts ,never had so much time. I started crocheting. I knew the basics. But never really got into following patterns. I have made several of your patterns. Thank you for being so easy to follow. Good teacher.
Wow! Stunning, and yet, not complicated. Just have to keep the count correct. Mind you, it would take me heaps longer to complete. Thank you for your clear, and concise instructions.😊❤
A couple of years ago now you showed us a similar popcorn square which I made into a little dog coat for my daughter's new puppy. She looked adorable and got lots of compliments when she was out and about. Must be time to make a new coat for her using this lovely square. I just love your channel. Thanks Robin.
I can certainly add something in about it - I basically used the colours in the order they are stacked in the box (I didn't use a few of the colours that were incredibly similar) and did a colour shift type placement with 2 of each the same (so 44 colours for a total of 88 motifs) I'll try and take some photos to explain for the blog post but basically I did 1st round in colour A, 2nd round in colour B, 3rd round in colour C Then on the next set of 2 motifs, 1st round colour D, 2nd round colour A, third round colour B Then on the next 2: 1st round colour E, 2nd round colour D, 3rd round colour A They came full circle back to using colours B, C and D for the final 2 motifs Hopefully that's not too confusing! 😅 (Just a quick edit to add I won't be able to be 100% exact on which colours I used with which as I didn't write it down as I went, I just pulled them from the box BUT I'll add something about the placement if what I wrote above doesn't make any sense x)
What do i think STUNNING BLANKET. The colors you choose and yarn are absolutely gorgeous. You have such an eye for putting colors together. All your blankets with their color choises are exquisite. Thank you so much for all your tutorials. This will be my next project. I have already used so many of your videos to make blankets for charity. They come out so beautiful I am tempted to keep them.
I am still very much at the beginners stage of practising strips of crochet stitches until I get the hang of the terms and stitches. To do this, I have watched quite a few different UA-camrs as Im very much a visual learner and need you to thank for getting me this far in my journey. I cant wait until I have the confidence of putting pattrns together and starting this beautiful design. Can I say I'm also very impatient and want to try this popcorn motif tutorial asap, lol. Lots of basic practice first so this has been added to my "to do" play list. Thank you very much. ❤
I'm so grateful for finding your channel. You make crocheting a truly thereupetic experience for beginners too. It's easy to get frustrated when we miss small details and you take time to explain the details so well. You are an amazing teacher namaste 🙏
Just beautiful! So many ideas, so little time. I made a flower this morning, very pretty I am into granny square rght now, all bazaar colors, no rhyme, no reason...On my todo list! ty!

Omg ...gorgeous ❤❤❤ think I'll make a tote bag first...🎉🎉🎉😊 will do join as you go...I find it hard for me to do triple crochet 😢...so I do extended double crochet..get the length of the triple and a more stable stitch and hands and wrists don't hurt..😮
I love how you have your nails so pretty ,that makes me want to watch your videos even if I know how to crochet it. I have learned so much from you. Thank you.

I love it .I crochet all the time ,since I don't work anymore. 2013 I had to stop working and move in with my son. Because of my health.
I thought I would go nuts ,never had so much time.

Beautiful! I bought the yarn so I could make one exactly like yours. Hope the patterns includes color arrangements. You are amazing!
I can certainly add something in about it - I basically used the colours in the order they are stacked in the box (I didn't use a few of the colours that were incredibly similar) and did a colour shift type placement with 2 of each the same (so 44 colours for a total of 88 motifs)
I'll try and take some photos to explain for the blog post but basically I did 1st round in colour A, 2nd round in colour B, 3rd round in colour C
Then on the next set of 2 motifs, 1st round colour D, 2nd round colour A, third round colour B
Then on the next 2: 1st round colour E, 2nd round colour D, 3rd round colour A
They came full circle back to using colours B, C and D for the final 2 motifs
Hopefully that's not too confusing! 😅
(Just a quick edit to add I won't be able to be 100% exact on which colours I used with which as I didn't write it down as I went, I just pulled them from the box BUT I'll add something about the placement if what I wrote above doesn't make any sense x)
Thank you! I am a little confused but it might make more sense when I get my yarn and look at your written pattern. Thank you for responding!
Thank you for these really excellent, clear instructions. At 78 I have now learned a few new stitches.!
