Great to.hear you are doing do well on this carnivore Diet- i started July 1st & no scale. Only dr visits, which is often. Was weighed last Wednesday. Going back tomorrow to go over bloodwork, so will definitely get weighed. I did measure waist & hips myself. I get literally no exercise, because hard to walk far with back issues without sitting down. I am trying to find an affordable indoor water aerobics group in Orlando area, living rural, everything is a distant commute. I have found that I really like the homemade bone beef broth, however have to remove that fat. Beef fat, to me, is nauseating, even the odor from ground beef. I made bacon wrapped Scottish eggs for Sunday. Hamburger was too dry, even with butter & nauseating. So yesterday I cut it up & mixed with bone broth & butter. Was delicious😋 Butter & bacon fat are my only fat go tos. I do daily eat eggs, bacon, Colima sea salt & butter.

Hi Debbie, good to see another video. Glad that it's going well for you. I try and mix my meat up to include pork and then eat different cuts of meat. Pork is a bit cheaper than beef and is better than hotdogs (to me at least). But in the end...do what works best for you.

I am 37 days in. To do this food program requires giving up so much! For the first month I decided to eat whatever meat I wanted and some dairy (cheese, heavy cream in coffee and a little milk) Now that I am in month 2 I have been easing up on dairy a bit. The dairy does mean I have a few carbs each day. I figure just getting the hang of all of this takes time. It does help me some days to eat more than one meat on my plate for example a few pork ribs and a hamburger or a couple of hot dogs and a hamburger. Tomorrow I am going to experiment with cutting a chuck roast into chuck steaks. I saw someone on a youtube channel do this as a budget friendly alternative to steak. Make yourself a carnivore pizza. They are crazy delish and make 3 to 4 large servings! Such a nice treat! I make mine in a medium size black iron skillet. So good! I have a feeling that as we do this program for the long haul it will all get sorted out as to what works best. Sounds to me like you are doing great!

@elisataylorberry1322 wow! 37 days? Congratulations, you are doing so well! I am not having any sugar cravings but I do use a little bit of sour cream or cream cheese to cut through the fat. I would like to ease up a bit on it as well, but for now, I need this diet to be sustainable for me.

Girl, you eat what makes it sustainable and affordable for YOU. As Dr. Berry says, within the proper human diet spectrum, ketovore/keto/carnivore is fine/healthy. Even if it's hotdogs you're still eating healthier/better than 90% of the rest of the US girl! You do what makes it affordable for you, don't listen to the haters❤

One content creator said to lose weight on carnivore you have to eliminate all dairy. I took this advise to see what would happen and sure enough the pounds started to come off. However, I found that it was hard after a week to live with coffee that does not have heavy cream. I allow myself 2 tablespoons of heavy cream in a cup of coffee twice a day and this has been OK so far. I also have to have a Fresca at work to help with the tummy grumbles because of OMAD. As for the hot dogs, you do you and what works for you!

I just watched a video that suggested not weighing yourself but instead measuring your waist. You can lose fat (which is bulkier) but gain muscle which weighs more (but is smaller). People make this WAY more complicated than it is. It's actually very simple if you keep the basics in mind. Eat ANY kind of meat but make sure it's not processed or has garbage ingredients in it. MOST hot dogs have garbage ingredients in them which would put them in the ultra processed category, not as bad as high carb chips and snacks but just look at the ingredient list on the hot dogs, make sure they are clean, all beef with less than 6 ingredients in them that you can say clearly which should only be some type of veggie powders for flavoring. You can try dairy but I find that most hit walls on weight loss with dairy, if this happens with you then simply cut dairy out especially cheese and whip cream, some can handle it but most struggle with weight loss at a certain point with dairy. Buy meat that is on clearance to save money, most grocery stores will put meat that they need to get rid of and mark it down. I do a LOT of ground beef patties so you don't always have to do steak, I love steak but I spread it around. I often buy my own steer and have it processed which will last me 9-10 months and it comes out to roughly $6 per pound for everything averaged out. Good luck!

@shawnlewis1918 great info. I wish I could buy bulk meat but where would I put it? Yes, I was surprised to see that even Nathan's hot dogs weren't 100% beef. I am going to watch my weight while I eat a bit of dairy but I will quit it if my weight loss stalls out. Thanks again!

@@Carnivore-54 Absolutely, I love helping people in this category, I've been doing keto for nearly 4 years now and experimented with carnivore for the last year and truly loved the results, I felt I did even a bit better on carnivore. I did find a hot dog brand that was 100% grass fed beef and had maybe 5 to 6 ingredients in them, they were the most expensive but still way cheaper than most steaks and using only mustard will still be zero carbs! Although I love cheese, I wouldn't put any on my, even at my target weight but I will indulge in a little cheese on the weekend as a dessert....did I mention I LOVE cheese but I know the dangers of it as far as weight loss or gain goes so I'm very careful with it. And for some people it can be a trigger to indulge in things way more disruptive to our metabolic process if you don't have the will power. I have great will power but many don't so avoid any triggers once you realize it!

@@YouButter There is a farm about 40 minutes from me that sells raw milk, cheese and butter. I have been planning on going down there to buy some. This past year I found a pasteurized cheese that only has a few ingredients mostly being enzymes which is a much better cheese (smoked provolone) than the typical store cheaper brands sold in the main cheese area, the better quality cheeses are sold in a specific market area where all of the items are twice as much but are all natural but I would prefer to purchase dairy where it's raw so the nutritional content is higher so that is my plan. Even with the higher quality raw cheeses I would just have in moderation especially if weight loss stagnates at a certain point. For the record I have butter every day with my 4 scrambled eggs, about 2 tbs. and sometimes when I have leaner steaks I will add butter just to add a little fat content in addition to the K2 benefits.

If nitrates don't bother you, hot dogs and lunch meats are fine. Just have to watch the ingredients and avoid grains and sugar.
If you like bacon, look for a pork belly. You can heavily salt it and brine it for a day or two, then have clean bacon. I'd recommend having the pork belly partially frozen to get even slices. You're doing great. Don't go by the scale. At first, you'll use most of the food to rebuild muscle and be burning fat without realizing. I pay attention to my clothes and how they fit now.

I think they say no dairy because it can cause some people to have stomach issues or the fact they just think you should cut out everything in order to judge what foods give you issues.
You can get stew meat and cook it up in a crock pot for a few hours . The broth from that is quite tasty. You can find smoked turkey legs and wings at Walmart . I buy those and boil one up. I take the skin off and take the meat from the bones. The broth from that is good too. I suppose you could also put it in the air fryer to crisp up the skin. I can't eat beef every day either and I sure can't afford to eat steak every day. It's completely insane how much beef has gone up in price. Don't get discouraged.
I just wish my husband and daughter would quit asking me if I want this or that. How many times do they have to be told I can't have that food. Geez.🤨

Also, try to get the pure form in powder in bulk since they put soo much bad stuff into the capsule casing itself.
Take with plenty of water and maybe a little fat. If you take other supplements, don't take it at the same time since it will bind with it.

Please be very careful with saying: “What works for me”.
    Most smokers say that too.
    Most drinkers say that too.
    Most vegetarians say that too.
    Most vegans say that too.
    Most omnivores say that too.
    Most carnivores say that too.
    Most people say that too.
Fact is that the lions diet will cure all your diseases in the fastest possible way.
Fact is that we can add more foods from animals to the lions diet and do very well. You can add any meat, fish, eggs and for most people also dairy.
Fact is also to become or stay healthy & fit you just need to follow the following 5 principles:
    1) no carbs
    2) no plants
    3) proteins in moderation
    4) high fat
    5) only animal based foods
Fact is also that it is good to exercise your metabolism, in a similar way as you exercise your muscles. The same applies to your metabolism.
Therefore, you should “poison” your body every once in a while in order to keep it strong, flexible and capable to deal with unexpected substances.
Having written that, I do support your statement that the diet has to be affordable.
I try to only eat grass fed meat, wild fish, bio eggs and grass fed dairy. But that is not always possible.
One of the many advantages of a carnivore lifestyle is that fasting becomes more and more easy. This gives me the opportunity to postpone eating for some hours or even for a day or two, until I am in a place where I can eat the food I want.
Has it been easy & fast for me to arrive at this level?
No. It took years of try and error.
Good luck on your individual journey towards health, fitness and wellbeing.
