Dude, I gotta say, your response/perspective on the criticisms (aka some people being jerks) is VERY refreshing, not becoming pessimistic or being put off by the "anti-vegan" crowd makes me respect the hell out of you. I have been doing a diet based off of carnivore for the last 2 months and have lost a couple dozen lbs. I havent felt this good in years and im learning more day by day. I'm excited to hear your experience. Keep the great content coming. Thank you!

Annie Rocks do whatever you can to buy from and support local farms/farmers. The ones who do free range/grass fed/pastured animals. People who practice regenerative farming are actually improving the environment not only just making less of an environmental impact. Vegan food alone can not regenerate the rapidly depleting topsoil.

Hey Thomas, have been very impressed with your overall analysis of the keto diet. It has changed my life, lost 30 lbs, all my counts are perfect, tossed all my meds. Then catastrophe struck, I fell of a 8 ft ladder was unconscious for 15-30 mins, rushed to hospital, diagnosed with severe concussion, and fractured skull in 2 places. Long story short almost died, got quite a bit better in 12 days, had brain surgeon give me go ahead to relax ( totally) in Hawaii. So here I am.
Finally, 3 docs, 1 surgeon all stated the lose of weight, type of diet and my overall condition saved my life!! Thanks from the deepest part of my brain, I’m alive partially do to you and your research!!🤙 BTW I’m 62, 205 lbs, in reasonable shape, and trying to stay healthy!! Thanks 🙏🏽

Hey Thomas. I have been really anxious for you to try carnivore. It's great that you figured it out. I'm mostly carnivore and for me, I feel differently depending on which meat I eat. Chicken is just okay as far as energy, pork is a little better but give me a fatty cut of beef and it's like candy. Just like you, 1/2 hour after a ribeye my energy is through the roof. Keep it up and keep us posted. We all have things to learn.

I did this for 30 days. Felt amazing, found it easy to do, and dropped weight super quick.
One of the things I found the most surprising from some of the initial “research” of the carnivore diet is that with the omission of veggies is how the human body is able to retain the vitamins so much better in the absence of carbs and phytotoxins. Meaning we need far less intake of vitamins and minerals, and meat contains enough for us, when you don’t eat plants. It really is counter to anything nutrition thinks it knows.

IMHO Sounds like maybe initially you were salt deficient the first few days of carnivore?? salt is absolutely essential for electrical /nerve conduction and muscle function and a small sudden shift will cause symptoms that you describe and also if you noticed an improvement within 30 minutes of eating that brisket maybe it was actually an electrolyte shift ie salt concentration which is the only explanation I can think of that could make dramatic difference so rapidly. I believe many people are upset when they see others “do carnivore wrong” because this could lead in a misrepresentation of results.
For example, say a UA-cam tried Keto, but with 100g of sugar a day and said that ketosis is impossible.
Not excusing anyone being jerks. But I can say that, as a carnivore who has never felt better, misrepresentations can be frustrating. Even more so as schools, hospitals, etc. follow a food guide that make many of us feel crappy.

I started Keto for 6 weeks then switched it up to carnivore .. this is day 10 of carnivore...I notice small changes ... i have an autoimmune disease in the form of arthritis which is already beginning to diminish...a couple of days I was pain free but it’s intermittent... it will go away and I’m waiting for that day. I haven’t lost hardly any pounds ...(insulin resistant)...I check my glucose and blood ketones...my fasting sugar is 104...my sugar after a workout is also in the low 100’s...but I’m losing some inches, inflammation in my face is going away...my legs look better too...clothes fit a little looser...I have 35 more pounds to go. I’m eating bacon, eggs for breakfast or bacon and a fatty beef meat; and for dinner some type of beef product sometimes with cheese melted over the top...and I will also eat bacon and beef together. If I get a little hungry I will eat macadamia nuts (4ea)...to curve my appetite...the best are from Whole Foods with are roasted only, no salt... I’m sleeping better...I’m going potty just fine...the first 5-6 days was diarrhea (sorry - gross)...which in my mind was a cleansing process. I am O blood type which is most adaptable to meats. My blood ketones are still low (.6) but, I’m still in ketosis regardless the blood ketones is low. I eat two meals a day...I intermittent fast...thanks for reading this and letting me share in the comments.

I’m about 5 days into carnivore! Transitioning straight from a relatively strict keto. I went through sort of a detox as I did with keto which I thought was super weird..but after asking some questions in a carnivore related Facebook group apparently that’s extremely normal 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m mainly trying this out to see if it’s possible to ease my PCOS symptoms even more so than keto did! I can say I’m down 7lbs in this time and I’m
Blown away that I had that much inflammation or whatever when I was following a strict keto diet 😳
I’d also like to note I feel awesome now! And this morning I took a shower, for the first time in YEARS when I washed my hair I had very very little fall out! ☺️

So how do I get over the texture of fried liver? I don't mind eating liver but in the past I would coat in flour and saute with lots of onions. This is a huge variation for me. Also, I read chicken liver is higher in nutrients than beef liver. Is this true?

Love your video. I have been keto for about two years, but doing carnivore for the last 2 months. So far, I'm not planning on going back. I love carnivore! My health has improved in every area. I have gained more muscle and lost more fat. Regarding bowel movements (yeah, I know not pleasant to speak about), the main difference for me on carnivore is I have a lot less material that I'm expelling. That fact by itself is quite telling. To me it means that the materials in meat are much more usable by my body. They aren't just excreted like the plant products are. To me this is strong confirmation of what a lot of people are saying: namely, that materials in animal-based products are much more usable and the nutrients more bioavailable than plants are.

@@annashealthylifeeverything8583 It is current dogma that plants (particularly fiber) is needed for a healthy microbiome, but there is now quite a bit of dissent regarding this. In particular, I've heard Paul Saladino present significant evidence to the contrary.

Hi Thomas. I found all the things you experienced to be true so along with doing intermittent fasting, I did carnivore for 5 mths, after doing keto for 17 mths.and found strength gains of around 10%. some of this I suspect was I didn`t eat enough protein on keto but I also think my nervous system improved as I could feel a much better mind/muscle connection. I went on a regular cleanish diet at the start of the year for 4 months and found that my digestion system had reset and had far fewer problems while the weight was more stable. I`m doing keto again now, haven`t noticed any strength losses, and have decided to cycle keto, carnivore and regular clean diets, 2 mths of each to see wheer it affects the system. Yours
