Here's a tip... And you even said it... You need to clean the model first... Warm soap and dish washing soap to remove the mould remover. This is why your super glue gives you so much of a problem.
I realized afterwards that should have 100 percent been the move. There was also some old super glue residue on the metal, as I believe this was stripped and put back in the box. I will for sure make sure to scrub them next time as well!
Great video! I was literally just thinking about this channel the other day good to see you back at it. Also love how you dive right back in like no time has passed, love your work and production value. Keen for the next one. 😊
If I was gonna come back it was now or never with the release of the old world. Stoked to get back into content creation, and excited for my upcoming non tomb kings content! Glad to have you here!
Can’t wait to share more, I am aiming to give this channel a regular release schedule, so you hopefully won’t have to wait two years for the next video 😅 hopefully it’ll be something like two weeks
@@ThisMiniSucks sounds great! And if not take all the time you need to figure out a realistic schedule! It’ll just make that eventual release all the sweeter
wow! You have returned! thats good stuff! Loved your casket of souls video, got me all hyped up, and then it all went quiet for a long time! now keep them coming!
He's back! Great to see, lovely vid and no dodgy "this paint is the best" crap! So great to see the old sculpts, and looking forward to your next vid 👌
Man this really makes me wanna finish up all of my tomb kings minis. Also got some old chaos to work on. Love seeing old world back and vidoes about it.
Great stuff man! Glad to see you back. And I am almost certain that not a single screaming skull catapult ever made has never had one of those beard pieces fall off.
100 percent! Just wanted to knock out my tomb kings and then move onto the next thing! I play dungeons and dragons as well as Star Wars legion and marvel crisis protocol. I love games workshop but there are so many other companies doing great things, I will for sure be on to them soon!
I have two of them. One assembled and the other one completed (built &painted) but the latter disassembled itself after an accident and I never bothered to fix it. A pain in the butt to build. This was one needs a plastic replacement asap.
Yeah I would love to see a plastic version! I’m trying to be a maniac and only use vintage models for my old world army though, but since I most likely will need two catapults, I’d probably cave and go plastic instead of going through this again haha
A really great video with all the steps you want to see, when you are painting the model and want some guidance and inspiration. I was very frustrated, because the new model is made out of Resin and is split into more pieces whilst you don’t get even a picture let alone instructions with it, as it comes in a standard white card board box from forge world. I spent at least 15 to 30 minutes, watching the painted model at the warhammer online shop to figure out, how to assemble it, broke a beard off by accident and struggled with the gluing as I also forgot to clean it first. Just a quick question: is it necessary for the catapult’s crew to stand on the same plate as the catapult or is it also fine if I put them on their bases and them in direct contact with the big base?
Hey thanks so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s actually not correct to have them based on the unit like I have done. You are supposed to put them on 25x25mm bases and have them along the side now. Obviously that only matters in a tournament setting, but if that is your plan then yes, the way you are thinking is correct!
@@ThisMiniSucks I'm definitely not a tomb kings guy at all, but what I am a fan of is your editing and cinematography. I picked up the new Bretonnia relaunch box myself, and I'm slowly working my way through it.
Ha I appreciate that. I’m excited to wrap up the last tomb kings video so I can finally tackle some new subject matter! How are you making your way through the box? I am excited to finally get an old world game in!
@@ThisMiniSucks it’s a mixed bag? I’m a high school teacher full time so it took me weeks of off hours to get all the assembly (70+ minis) finished. Also, as someone who did not grow up with this stuff, I think I partially misunderstood what was being offered, and I didn’t realize the 5th edition knights had more simplistic stylized horse drapery, while the 6th Ed ones (that come in the new box) are busier and have more barding and 4 shields. At this point, I’ve primed everything, and did airbrush work on the men at arms, and I’m doing the men at arms seven at a time, and then my plan is to paint a knight after each grouping is done, as a treat. My girlfriend is encouraging me to film reels for Instagram as I work, but at this point I just want to make progress haha
Yes, as I get back into filming while painting it for sure slows the entire process down. But it sounds like you have a solid plan going! I have to figure out what I’m going to move on now that I’m just about wrapped up with tomb kings. I think I need to take a break from giant hoardes of minis and focus on like kill team or something haha. Glad to see another old world player though! Good luck on your box!
Ugh seriously! My whole room smelled like zip kicker and glue for a week after I tried putting it together when I was a kid haha. This time around it definitely fell apart like 8 times during the process… so glad it’s finally done!

I'm also amazed he hasn't pinned anything yet.
And when the world needed him most...
He returned.
Excellent to see you back, a triumphant return!
So glad to be back!! Had a crazy few years but finally settled in and ready to dive back into making this channel as dope as it can be!
Welcome back dude. I hope you're all good and enjoying your hobby!

I am definitely planning on getting into a regular content release with this channel stay tuned!!

That’s the plan! I had to move a few times so I didn’t have a dedicated space to film in. Now I’m all set up and ready to get crackin!
He's back! Great to see, lovely vid and no dodgy "this paint is the best" crap!
So great to see the old sculpts, and looking forward to your next vid 👌
Haha my kid uses all of my paint on his minis so I got used to working with whatever paints he didn’t leave open or spill lol
Man this really makes me wanna finish up all of my tomb kings minis. Also got some old chaos to work on. Love seeing old world back and vidoes about it.
Ahh old chaos is so sick. I actually just finished my tomb kings army today and am wrapping up the video, should be up by thursday!

Seriously! If you even look at the box art it’s like glued on at a goofy angle.
Behold the return of the king
Dude, just yes. Glad your back!

Hey! That’s awesome my release schedule is kinda slow in the summer but I should have one dropping next week!! 🤙🏼
Just discovered you and subbed. Can't wait to see more! Do you have any plans to cover Non-GW stuff eventually?

Hahaha I’m glad that’s what I’m known for
@@ThisMiniSucks that's what I know you for, and your great taste in music and super casual painting style that turns out amazing!

Yeeessssss, been waiting for this!
Hope it was worth the wait 😅
Noice
Worth the wait 🔥🔥
Haha thank you! Hopefully the wait for the next one will be slightly less 😅😅😅
More like return of the King!
Ayyyyyyy 😉
Time to start using oil paints mate! They are so good for bones
I have a bag of them just waiting for me to get the nerve to bust them out, maybe it’s finally time!

It wouldn't be the real skull catapult if it didn't fall apart every 10 seconds.
I took it to my first game and it broke on turn 3 😅😅😅
I have nightmares from assembling this stupid thing in 2005
