Looks awesome to see your finished army. FYI you can only take one banner Icon of the Sacred Eye in your army. Only the * asterisk items can be taken more than once.
Hey thank you for the tip! I think it’s actually kinda wasted on the chariots anyway. Once I get a unit of tomb guard I’ll have to make some cuts anyway so that’s an easy swap out!
@@ThisMiniSucks Awesome video, your army looks great! Back in 6th ed I used the chariot crews to make cheap Tomb Guard, and for chariot crew I used the Tomb King skeleton heads and the skeleton torso that has a bit of chest armor.
Great to see an Old World army building journey, Tabletop UA-cam seems to be lacking with this kind of thing. Army looks awesome arrayed in full, The Ushabti and Bone Giant look great. Imo there's just something about the way metal models take the paint, The Chaos Lord i'm working on is using Archaon's Horse Dorgarr and it was really fun to paint and imho looks great, just got to not drop it haha.
Thank you! I just got my first game in with it this week and am realizing I need to paint A LOT more skeletons haha. But the old world has been a blast so far! Definitely the most fun I’ve had with a war game in a while. And chaos is so sick!
Can’t wait to get them on the table! I did max loadouts on everyone to hit 2k so once I get a few other units I can trim a few upgrades here and there and still keep it to 2k. Def can’t wait to start rollin some dice for the asp queen!!
not in philadelphia in the uk but if you are ever on my side of the pond my orcs and goblins would love to meet your tomb kings on the battle field. got a new subscriber with this video. had a tomb king army a while ago but them and a few other armies were stolen ;-; one day they shall arise again from the sands. also when finecast first came out my friends suggested using this spray on sealant to seal the paint in and it kinda helped with the super brittle parts of the models. with things like chains and what have you also for your army definitely tomb guard are a must with the suped up re-animation on your priest even if they killed 7 guys which will only happen against things on the charge with high strength (bretonian knights with lances) or a stupid amount of attacks. but they are so survivable they can lock something in combat till they inevitably win the combat XD also the screaming skull and casket kind of have a opposite effect from one another, things that want to avoid magical attacks stay away from the casket for the most part and the skull catapult means people usually have to walk to you or target the catapult with cannons and just trade shots so as much as i love the chariots and the horsemen and ushabti i would go all in on ranged, drop some of the perks you gave the units maybe even get a 2nd unit of skeletal skirmishers, definitely sepulchral stalkers and a 2nd scorpion, hold the line with the ushabti with bows, catapult, etc while sending the scorpions out to hunt any lone characters ( be careful with crumbling as a skeleton warrior unit can lose combat res so bad it kills the scoprion charging in the rear) so best to send him after their war machines and characters, with his instant kill mechanic its what he is basically made for
Damn what a write up lol. I appreciate the feedback! I took basically this list, just a little different in two games so far, but yeah now that I have a unit of tomb guard, and I’m going to be building my bone dragon soon, I’ll need to reassess, so I appreciate the tips!! As for the UK, I do tend to travel a bit! You never know, feel free to join the discord just in case 😅
@@ThisMiniSucks have joined up already and hey man you are always welcome building a new set of terrain, should make a tomb king set. making a town near the border princes as its the most likely area for everyone to be. the bone dragon is so so tasty, also random quirky thing the armour of ages look good yes? no, it causes successful to wound rolls to reroll. except 6s so if something has killing blow or even devastating blow, rerolling successful to wounds of 4 or 5 depending on what it is, really just gives them another chance of rolling 6's which can lead to some disappointing situations id recommend the royal mantle as it allows his my will be done to effect every unit within 6 " but mostly youd want to spend the points on magic items that make him more offensive, a potion of speed is always handy but im sure you know that XD i have seen some people say put a liche priest on the bone dragon, but it doesnt protect the liche priest being a large targets, and also scary looking. he will get wiped of the table. the tomb king at least is more survivable and punishes anyone who kills him anyway.
it's funny, I actually love working with the finecast ushabti and was honestly pretty disappointed they weren't brought back in resin! Your whole army is looking siiiiiick by the way!
After painting it, It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I was scarred by my time with the resin tau stuff I got a while back 💀, and thanks! I just picked up the big old world box, I’m gonna try some new stuff with that dragon.
@@ThisMiniSucks lemme know in the discord if you want some tips for chopping it up. After my big repositioning I have some things I’d do differently the second time!
A really great video for a really great army. Btw. is the Tomb prince (5:39) a kitbash or an old figure, because I can’t find him anywhere, when searching online?
@@ThisMiniSucks I searched a Screenshot of the figure with Google Lens. Apparently it’s The crypt Lord Asar from the series Wargods and can be purchased on the website of crocodile games. They do have some interesting figures there.

@willpenn966 hopefully someone will be done painting their Bretonia box by then haha
Watching this pn my break, absolute banger music choices, hope we get a loud PEAAACE at the end!
Haha I was kinda sick while recording this so everytime I tried to scream it at the end my voice cracked… 😅 next week!!
Great work!
Thank you!
Looks great my guy, music choice is awesome and the paint quality is very nice
Thank you! I’m lucky to have two friends who produce some pretty sick tunes! They are linked in the description if you wanna check them out!
Awesome army dude, always feels so great to get a big project finished 🎉🎉
Thank you! Can’t wait to get a game in!
Popped up on my suggest, good to see the algorithm is actually working!
That IS good news! Hopefully it’ll show up in your subscriptions next 😉
Wow, you made a list. Mom will be proud.
But do you think she’ll finally tell me she loves me?
Outstanding! A full tomb kings army is such a powerful flex :-)
12 year old me would be so envious
00:30 thanks for making me feel old
Army looks great 🔥 I'm tempted to get into Old world now!
Do it! I’m filming a battle report on Monday so hopefully I can let everyone know how the new rules play. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
