I've worked with this amazing guy since MandT got incepted in The Gambia. And to tell the truth,( No Capping/Bragging).... There's nobody, I MEAN NOBODY, that build and finishes like this guy!!! I've seen him turn dilapidated structures to 5 star mansions. Whether it's remodeling or finishing, in the Gambia? They ain't on his level. I can honestly say, he's the main reason why I'm passionate about construction till this day... Salute Mr. Njie!!! 🙏💯

Mohamed is awesome. He's helped me so many times with my home in the US, from a new front door, to kitchen faucet. He's very homes4, and would give such honest advice!
When I had a water leak in my house, I called him stressing out. He came assessed the damage, and asked whether I had contacted my home owners insurance, something that I hadn't thought about! That really saved me, because it ended up being $9000 in damages.
Thanks Mohamed! Gambia is lucky to have you.
Stand firm, refuse to be corrupted! Put your faith in Allah, as you've always done! I look forward to working with you in the Gambia. May Allah swt continue to bless you!

What I can propose for Mr. Njie to have, in the long run, is to create his own Training School, and a Building Inspection Department, as well as an Engineering side to be able to remedy all these problems. Of course it comes with a cost, that he can recover by providing other contractors with trained and qualified personal, as well as providing a building Inspection service. Don't wait on the government to do things. Africa, we need to think differently. Forward Thinking. Since there are no regulations, we create them within the company and the training, and those regulations will propagate as the people spread across the land.

This may have seemed like a case of bad luck for Mohammed but in reality this was a "blessing in disguise". He gained valuable connections (in the US), knowledge but most of all first hand experience. He's a seasoned experienced contractor who uses western standards to make first rate projects in his home country. He seems very savvy and knows to build upon his enterprise. African countries are bursting with many opportunities, all that is needed is steady reliable conditions to grow.

Yeah but it's going to take more than building buildings you have to rebuild the minds of these people. Gambia is a tourist spot for people to come in and use the gambians and this is what art Kathy was saying all along she was talking about how they see a lot of these tourists come in and they're messing around with children men and women and giving them basically $5 for sex service yeah this has to stop too. Then we wonder why everything and everybody is catching AIDS because a man goes out and messes around with one of these tours who probably was infected this is a problem.

Gambia doesn't deserved to end Lawlessly in the hands of Betrayers, Bad minded People, Thieves and cruel individuals. The Government should instead join forces with such kind of Constructors, strengthen the Law to develop the country Positively. Gambia folks must stop leaving the entire development Processes of the country only in the hands of their Political Leaders.. Every citizen must contribute to Nation Building, work hand in hand to achieve the most best results for the Country.. No regulations, no accountability! People don't want to work! No discipline. We need to work!
Absolutely true! If you're looking for something with money, forget about a doctor or lawyer. Find someone in the.service industry. A contractor, a plumber, an electrician, a handyman etc!
So.true Mohamed! I hope that the government, and people hear this!
Opening up trade schools, regulatory boards will really help!

I appreciate your honestly but apart from the lack of education and awareness ,there is also issues with the mentality of the people. Regulation won’t go amiss but a regulator can easily be manipulated. Africa is different from USA and UK and we should stop comparing. I hope that somebody in the government will watch this video and try and change the whole dynamics of the construction industry in Gambia.

When I'm ready to build my house in Ghana, I wish that this Brotha could do it. The biggest issue with building all over Afrika is substandard work and shady, unqualified so-called contractors. I'm glad that he's saying these things, because when some in the Diaspora say these things, some of us are seen as big mouth, pushy, aggressive outsiders. Much success to him and his business.

Thank you for this interview with Mr Muhammed. Everything he says is so true. His professionalism is commendable. Hope Yahweh, shines upon him and his business makes his vision come true. Pray that Gambia government see this video and seek his sound advice. We the diaspora and melinated people, are tired of our elected leaders not catching the vision. And selling us and our youth out by not investing in its people and country. Life is so much more than nice suits, houses and cars, rubbing shoulders with the elite of non melinated people, and their children going to private schools. When our young men are trying to escape poverty and risking their lives at sea to go to the west. Our leaders remind me of story in Bible where... Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for bowl of stew... Our leaders around the continent and diaspora sold our birthright... as a race of people to have option to live comfortable... for their own status and feed their own egos. So that they can say they are Embassadors. When they have an upright man like mohammed, they need to listen to him as he is talking truth straight from the most high.
