But maybe all senegalese are Mourids then, since they are the only ones competing with the foreigners lol. Great video … I am visiting west Africa on a cruise visiting some countries including Angola, the Gambia, Ivory Coast, Senegal, São Tomé, Cabo Verde as well as parts of Southern Africa like Namibia and South Africa…looking forward to seeing the local life and culture
Very nice and interesting video. Senegal was my first introduction to Africa in 93....a very memorable time enjoying the people and culture of that great country. I must say, the first apartment you showed at 70,000 CFA is only $113 a month in the states. That will get you a one night stay in an HI hostel dormitory here in Boston. On the other hand, the cost of laundry is horrific in Senegal! I can wash & dry 3 loads of clothes for $3500 CFA at my local coin operated laundromat. The food prices you quoted seem low, but I'm aware that costs are hard on the locals. Hopefully with the right political & economic reform, things will get better in Senegal where economic growth only seems to be benefiting the rich.
Good explanation but for your information Senegalese people invest alot in their coutry most busness are owned by Senegalese people of course you have many people that come in. But trust me we Senegalese we invest so much .

Dakar looks like a vibrant, fun city full of culture. I'd like to visit, especially since a high school friend of mine from Senegal has been begging me to visit her. I've never been to a French-speaking country in Africa. 😊
That was an amazing and very informative video. Great work. As an American, I found many of the prices you mentioned quite cheap for me, but I get your point that they are high by west African standards. I spent a couple days in Dakar last December at the end of a journey from Marrakech and wished I'd had more time. There is so much to see and do, so I am jealous that you were able to spend a month. You didn't mention the traffic, but it was heavy! It took us an hour and a half to get to the airport by taxi in solid, bumper-to-bumper traffic almost the whole way. As for Dakar as the most expensive city in Africa, I was very surprised the listing showed that. A few years ago, I spent a day in Lobito, Angola and had lunch in an average restaurant, where a hamburger lunch cost me US $28. That was the price on the menu, so I don't think they were cheating me as a foreigner. I was told the big Angolan cities were all very expensive due to all the oil money that is there, despite the great poverty of so many Angolans. Anyway, thanks again for a terrific video.
Amazing video! I really would love to go to Senegal. The people seem so peaceful and nice/mind their business and let's not forget about their delicious cuisine!
Love this! How am I just now seeing your content?! Love the breakdowns of price. Would love to see more food and the price if you think about it. This type of traveling is very fun and rewarding, but difficult too! So many things to do and so many things cost! Lol. But thank you for doing this! Very good video keep it up. Not happy i had to pause it a million times!
Exactly! $113 is not expensive at all.
Such an informative video, I really enjoyed watching it!
Good explanation but for your information Senegalese people invest alot in their coutry most busness are owned by Senegalese people of course you have many people that come in. But trust me we Senegalese we invest so much .

Ameen brother. May Allah bless you and all yours.
We absolutely love your content, and all the time and effort you put into giving us all extra information. The only thing is that it would be nice to not to have to pause the video every five seconds to read all of the information. It would be nice to hear your voice instead, telling us the information so we can continue to watch the video, and then giving us the links and written information in the more info. Section of your videos instead perhaps … hopefully this is considered positive for a constructive feedback. Thank you for all your videos.
Ps: Your Film Footage and especially Drone Footage, B-Roll and Editing is Stunning 🤩

Good video great pictures and lot of good information, Good Job Bro!
Thanks for watching
By Senegal standards not west Africa because west Africa is a region with 16 countries.
I really enjoyed this video fam! Keep it up
Appreciate it
Great video bro, keep up the good work
Appreciate it
Great video man. Extremely informative and I genuinely learned a lot. Cinematography was on point too. Great work

Amazing video! I really would love to go to Senegal. The people seem so peaceful and nice/mind their business and let's not forget about their delicious cuisine!
Seriously…. This guy is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so handsome!
Love this! How am I just now seeing your content?! Love the breakdowns of price. Would love to see more food and the price if you think about it. This type of traveling is very fun and rewarding, but difficult too! So many things to do and so many things cost! Lol. But thank you for doing this! I am moving to west Africa within 5 years and I’m taking your content in to help me make a choice as to where!
Excellent footage awesome work!!
I lived in ouakam for nearly nine months. Nice city but things are costly. 300,000 fcfa is manageable though
