The swell got so big for a while that at one point I was surfing down a wave but still over 3 kilometres from the beach.

Great video! Jason... was this a recent comp? I recognized several of the other fishermen in your video! In fact, it was due to watching Rod’s videos that I ended up buying a Stealth Fisha 555 last year. I wish we had some fun surf launch fish comps like that here in Southern California, but sadly there is nothing even close to that here.
