Yea had a bit of damage from the big storm on Christmas Day. But almost fixed everything ready for a trip👍
Trawling cam is such a cool view, I love seeing how fish react underwater. Also that lady was a legend haha
Nice to see Kingscliff boat ramp still looks good these days, my dad back 30 odd years ago, launched there with the Kingscliff snappers fishing club, Cudgen creek used to get sanded up and only some boats got out, and some had to walk the boat out the bar before taking off. I lived in Kingscliff, and my family still lives there.

Glad u brought the troll cam back! I recall the older ones. This is so sharp. I like it more when the lure is closer to the cam. Not sure if the fish do though or if it’s as easy to do. Anyway looking forward to more in better conditions. It was a good test. Especially when you caught such a nice fish. 🙌

Hey Rod - love the upgrade on the troll cam mate, its so so much more watchable now! Sits pretty level and steady in the water even on such a sloppy day - looking forward to some big crystal clear takes @ 4k/100fps 😂😂

Highlights were the ray and then those little friends in turbo mode at 20:00. Just unreal the density of fish life down there.
Ha, I've learned to brace myself when watching one of your troll cam videos, that one a while back made me jump out of my seat! Most vicious strike I've ever seen. And the fish was making crazy growling sounds, it was wild! I can't find it now. Anyway great video as always bud, I never want them to end and look forward to the next one.

Top content mate! yeah when you put that underwater camera back further, that definitely helped, i would put it back as far as you could, because it's going to obviously put some fish off. But that is a fantastic investment. Looking forward to more of that for sure. Thanks! 👍

Big troll cam fan!! My fav shot was once a slimy was hiding next to the camera. Might think of even a longer lead from the cam. The larger cam may be causing a little wake turbulence, might have spooked that mackerel. A thought. Love the vids.

I think most boats can do with like a large sink like they use in large kitchens or washeries you can dispatch fish and wash off the gore without trashing the ship.

Good investment, the images out of that look amazing. Shame you didnt get a strike on cam, but this was merely a shakedown run. and the esky wasnt empty. I gotta say, no wonder I dont get any decent size fish in my home waters, the amount of bait out there was ridiculous. I dont do to bad, spent a week out by the ocean after new year and ate fresh fish every day without much effort, but its nothing like that. A big wave to that Ray, that was an awesome shot.

Hey mate, Couple questions on cameras. How you finding 360 x3. I've now had 3 fail. With the waterwolf, sounds like they were previous version as new 2.0 model is 1080P. I've got a Aqua-Vu Strike-Vu on the way, keen to see how that works (kayak fishing).
Decent size bit of kit..Hope it won’t deter fish too much but the footage will be primo..maybe see about attaching a teaser some how and get a marlin strike!
Yea it’s definitely on the larger size, I think we should still get the bites on the right day though. I’m always surprised at what the fish find exciting and get there interest, even the boat itself is a teaser😁

Hey rod was this last thursday? Hard to get out with all this rubbish hey. Went off the gc on Thursday but had no luck. It definitely chopped up around 8-9am
