Beautiful Rife, called my local gun shop. I've got a 257 weatherby on the way. Thank you for the Floorplan. Old farts like me don't like detachable magazines. If I could make one request. Please chamber this rifle in 338 RPM. Again, thank you for building a wood stock traditional Weatherby rifle. 😊
I’ve always said Weatherby and Leupold are a match made in Heaven! I have an old Mark V Sporter in .300 Wby with a VX-3i and that’s my favorite hunting rig bar none.

Loved the new wood stock rifle but what really struck me was the reference between a light carbon fiber rifle vs a traditional wood stock. I had both on an African hunt. 6.5CM light weight and a 300WM Vanguard. On the sticks I had trouble keeping the carbon fiber rifle steady but the Vanguard was rock solid and ended up using it for all standing shots. Your new wood stock rifle just moved to the top of my wish list. Great podcast.
I've got an Adventure SD chambered in 300WBY on its way to my local Scheels. Very, very, very excited for it to compliment my Backcountry 2.0 TI in our gun display cabinet.
Man I need that in 257
This looks awesome I want one 😂 I think the only “miss” on it is a standard 1/10 twist on the 257 wby and the 270 wby… put a 1/7-1/8 in both of those beasts and let them eeeaaat!
Well, i took out my new Mark5 hunter 6.5rpm for the first time and it shot a half inch group with my first group with the hornady interlock ammo no less. I LOVE the 6 lug action and the rpm case design. I wonder if you could lengthen it and make more powerful calibers although it would compete with the 300wby case, but you could throw out the prc's and have a great wby cartridge, but I'd never give up my 300 and 6.5x300 wbys. It just sucks that certain precision reloading components are unavailable.
I'm very happy to see a wood stock finally.
I want a 240.
I don't love the price, though.
When I get the money, I'll have to decide between this and a mark 5 deluxe.
Maybe a plain sporter oil rubbed stock would make it more affordable.
Or, even some kind of a long range wood stock on the range model. Although I hate the magazine on those.

Ugh I just ordered the range xp 2 days ago been waiting to order see what was coming out and finally pulled the trigger bc I didn’t think you be changing it 😩😫 will the stocks be available to put on the range xp? I want the wood so bad

Wow! Very cool! Wish the LOP was 13 1/4". But this is so cool. Going to affect Bergara Wilderness sales! I almost got one of those.
