    You talk about how when one projection is done the other starts. How are the two projectors "talking" to each other to know when to start and stop? Very nice!

    • @zbreaux
      @zbreaux  8 років тому +16

      Hey Brent! Great question. I pulled the downloaded scenes from each decoration and I plugged them into Adobe Premiere. I created a movie for each projections and created gaps in each movie using the ambient scenes that I talked about so that the decorations do not overlap each other. That way, when one is playing an active scene, the other is playing an ambient scene and vice versa for 18 minutes. Make sense? Thanks for watching!

    • @BrentFranker
      @BrentFranker 8 років тому +4

      Gotcha! You just start both media sources at the same time and by the way you designed each file it makes it seem like they are communicating with each other but really it is just a timing thing, right? :) Very nice!

    Love how it's not "too busy". Too many haunts go way overboard with so much going on and I find that can take away the spookiness a bit. This is tasteful and really showcases the technology. Great job!

    I like what you did with your outdoor projector, concealing it inside a weather-resistant box with a lock. You must be front projecting right onto the pumpkins themselves, so it must have been quite a task to get the height and distance and spacing just right for the projector/pumpkins. Also I noticed you went with some ground lighting behind the pumpkins to make them stand out more. Well done!

    Awesome! Loved this set up a lot.
    I'm hoping to do the same this year for the kiddos. I love that the pumpkins 🎃 and witch are not so scary. I've seen the zombies and ghost and I think that's a little to scary for little ones.

      Hey Leo! Thanks for watching. I do close the plexiglass door during the projection and it does not cause any reflection. I actually made some improvements to it and made the plexiglass stationary. Check it out - ua-cam.com/video/zjAzCv1Uz7I/v-deo.html

    • @zbreaux
      @zbreaux  6 років тому

      Hey h0tp00lman, thanks for watching. The projection material is placed on the inside of the window and cut to the size of each pane so that is sits flush against the glass so as not to create any ghosting or a double image.

    great video - best setup, not too much going on which is why i really like it - I've a question on the timing. I saw the response below. One more question, how long approx. is each movie you created and on the pico projector is it playing using USB storage ? how large is the file approx ? Thanks
