  • ISFPs have this unapologetic authenticity that I truly find wonderful. This video contains some particularly useful tips for thinking types who can over work the logic without first prioritizing with their feeling function.

    Officially diagnosed ISFP here. Tis all accurate. People are often blown away when I do things just because I want to. Whether that's moving across the country or walking out on a job. But to me it's just normal. You do what you want to do and I won't hold it against you. But don't even think for a second I'm going to play by anyone else's rules. Rarrr.

      It’s not a disease. There’s no diagnosis to speak of.

      I'm ESTJ and am more confused when people stay at a job they seem to hate. Why would you devote your time to something you hate and not look for a better job?
      However, people's rules are sometimes good, and following them is sometimes inevitable. I'm assuming you don't go 80 in a school zone, and there happens to be a rule about that for a reason lol.

    1. Unapologetic about their wants
    2. Aware that doing things against their values will only end in tragedy (my edit)
    3. Prioritize on the right stuff (likes, values, etc) THEN getting to work

    You have given us ISFPs such wonderful compliments. I'm a Fi Ni jumper, so I end up learning a TON from you INTJs as well. I love listening to you all because of how easily I can relate to a lot of your perspectives, and yes, indeed, this helps me strengthen the lower functions just as you've mentioned of yourself towards ISFPs. It was really nice to hear this accurate 'portrait" of sorts of some of the themes that make up our strengths.

    Btw, the ISFP’s I know are great people. Thankfully I have several at my workplace.

    What people need to know ISFPs are the artists...they have the ability to change the matrix of style with natural ease...( Meaning they are extremely creative)I am Infp I can use the doors they open but I am slow motion comparatively...this authentic core you speak too is simply the drum we march too it's not something we ever think about it's a reflex to it and yes if we have to be saddled with a undesirable task we don't resonate with for too long it becomes draining... thinking doesn't make it better...so be careful what you wish for...

    My mom definitely is an ISFP, though people think she's an extravert (socially she's ambiverted so maybe she has strong Se). I remember she was eating a banana and said, "This is a really good banana" and I kind of appreciate that ability to get visibly excited about something like that because I usually don't have that as an ESTJ.

    Not really the biggest fan of ISFPs since it is my reverse functions, however, once I hear ISFP, I always think of Kobe Bryant and his mamba mentality, that super focus on his passion! Going with the 3rd trait first goes well with the 1st trait and prevents the 2nd trait mistake.

    Your snugg idea is looking good.
    I emailed you a good while back listing some platform ideas. I did it on a whim in my joy for your product when you first launched it. Visited the site after some time, and lo and behold I see some of those ideas have translated! Wow!
    I’m not giving myself any credit for where you have taken and done with your product/service but i’m curious if you’ve received any light bulb moments along the way that made it what it is now.
    Really neat stuff

    I don't know my type but i relate to this, however i find it to be problematic at times because it hard to just accomplish stuff when don't feel for it.
    I don't necessarily do stuff just because I feel or like it, but for the reason of inner well-being. That is always my first priority, so lead Fi? Or just being human?

    • @InternetLiJo
      @InternetLiJo  Рік тому +3

      Exceptionally common for anyone who has Fi higher than Te in their function stack. Myself having Te above Fi, well I do things I don’t feel like doing all the time. But it’s because these things serve my long term vision of myself and my Ni overall so it’s easier to get on board with them.
      If you have Fi first it’s he’s because all your other functions serve that one. However if you can get your Fi values on board with something that doesn’t feel good in the moment, but you value that thing long term, best way to probably hack the cognitive system.

      That sounds confusing, are you talking about a long term personal image? It sounds like the goal is still the same. A existence of well-being in the daily.

    4:11 Kind of upsetting? You're being far too kind lol. It's spiritually debilitating. Imagine spending years of your life pursuing endeavors or vocations which ultimately lack substance and do not align with your values. Especially if said endeavors/vocations have some inherent social/status component associated with them. It's doubly worse if you have a natural propensity to excel in those domains, but have a disdain towards the status quo/meta of the communities. Alright.. done ranting.. this is dope.. you're dope. Keep up the good work!

    Not all ISFPs are authentic or genuine, some are awfully selfish and self-entitled at times

    • @visible2927
      @visible2927 11 місяців тому

      i mean anyone can be like that , i feel like people really really think isfps are selfish by seeing one or two isfps whereas , there are other types like for example entp and enfp or even esfj , who are literally born with the philosophy of 'i worked harder then him , but he is more successful then me , so i have to take them down' , then there are other types like enfj infj entp who are literally double faced people , they dont show their real face , they have face for everyone , now in what world is that good? or lets talk about infj and intj who are the definition of sad thinking , like i dont even know how can people be so negative , they are also not talked about ,
      but people only are talking cringe about isfps and entjs , who are literally only saying the truth , on top of that isfps dont even say truth that brutally , because they care about people's feelings ,
      so clearly you are not seeing the big picture , every mbti can come off as selfish and stuff , its the way you see it that changes things , if i see a isfp/entj as direct and truth related , then they are good , if i see it as , they hurt my feelings they are bad , then now that is the case , also
      in my opinion infjs and intjs are the most negative people , but maybe you like people who think negative , you see a dif here?
