I'm an aspiring lawyer. There's something inside me that tells me I would surely be a lawyer someday. I am just so sure for whatever reason, might be my burning desire to be one someday. I just think its my end game, in terms of career.

I'm 17 , I really want to be a lawyer but I'm afraid i can't express my confidence it's just bottled up inside it's hard to let it out . Well, I possess almost of the qualities. Thanks to this video I will try to speak up
I was the same way in regards to my confidence, what I did was just say smth even if it’s a little awkward most people will forget about it the next day and brush it off, I did this same cycle rinse and repeat till I could suddenly hold my own in a convo
I feel you, I am also going through the same, but whenever it is something I believe in for some reason I have an unwavering amount of confidence from nowhere to the point that I actually win arguments and make the other person give up. I think you and I and every other person who might go through the same things needs to build that confidence over time, it is something that needs to be built it cant be easily obtained, no one just has confidence built in them. So consider are there some people who are holding your confidence back, or is there anything stopping you and try to solve those issues because any removal of handicaps can be a good start.

More than anything, you must be passionate for studying the subject. That’s what will help you to read a lot of books. Also, law has so many fields like corporate law, intellectual property laws, competition law, judiciary, etc. it’s not only about fighting in courts anymore.

I am reading the comments and people are talking about this as if it's the bar exam. Really?! You "HAVE TO HAVE" at least 5 of these things?....??? Really? Have to have at least five? That's what he said! You need at least five! If this video is your way of knowing whether you should study law or not.....dont! Save it for the bar. Secret.....if you don't have a certain skill set you want.......learn it! Yes learn it! Who would have thought. You can learn all 10! If you want. Funny how that works.
Well, in my case I know that I will have an easy time finding a job if I do énroll in a law school and get all needed dégrees, not only that when I grow up I really want to be able to provide for a family. I can always learn new things it's fun to me.
Most who know these , they dont say I study law , or take up law but the most correct way is I read law , you read law and understand the issue , what is the law , applies the law to the issue and get the conclusion or the remedy ! In jurisprudence , that is study law , you study the science of law and the jurist answer to the applications to the law !
My goal is lawyer.. And become a lawyer it's my confidence.. I love argue to prove it when it is right or wrong and lawyer it's my dream I am still studying 10th completed and lawyer is my goal from 1st class too. ..trust your self and be Confidence then u will get success...
9/10. Honestly, I just really need to work of getting my confidence boosted up. But it's true actually, what inspires me the most is solving cases just like Sherlock Holmes. I've got a little influence from him, as well as from the other fictional detectives. They taught me , how to be observant, and everything that will solve major or minor cases. 💖
I am a lawyer: 1. Big books don't scare me. I am just sometimes too lazy to finish reading those books. 2. I try to get all angles of a story, but only important ones related to the issue at hand. 3. I do not love arguing to prove a point. As much as possible, I only argue when it is necessary to defend my case. 4. I do not stand for what I believe in. I am always open to new things. I change my belief system when it is no longer true. 5. I exude confidence, but the opposite may be an advantage sometimes in court. 6. Yes. Integrity is an indispensable asset of a lawyer in legal practice. 7. Keen to little things is indeed an important skill. 8. I hate debates. 9. I only have good priority management skills. I cannot control time. 10. Knowing how to keep secrets does not make one as a lawyer. It is part of the codes of conduct among lawyers.
1 Big books don't scare you 2 You stand for what you believe in 3 You exude confidence 4 You have integrity 5 You keep secrets 6You pay attention to detail
Thank you for update this video. I want to be a successful lawyer. I have all the signs since my childhood to become a lawyer. So I am very confident about my decision
My mom told me to go to nursing school(or any human sciences careers really) and my dad wants me to go to business school. I truly believe that they're projecting their dreams on me but I don't see myself myself in either one. I am a freshman in college trying to figure out what to do and for some reason I see myself in law school in the future. For now I'll focus on my undergraduate degree and try to save money and try to find out if law school for me.
I graduate law school in 4 weeks. If you’re smart you shouldn’t spend hours reading casebooks. Lexis nexis and west law are life savers because they give you summaries of cases.
Hahaha this is so true as a lawyer you learn to enjoy books and understand knowledge is the greatest power move of all. But for any one who wants to pursue this career only passion can push you through it and God because it's challenging but not hard at all
This really good. You need all the traits or be prepared to develop them. Five would not cut it. If you are reading this at 17 or 18 years old then you can learn these skills.
I just got into first year law and just found this video. I got around 7-8 points..not sure if I'm a fast reader but I do catch points through writings. Anyways, good luck to you future lawyers reading this. :)
1.you stand for what u believe in 2.you pay attention to detail 3.you enjoy debates 4.you love arguing to prove a point 5.you keep secrets 6.you try to get all angles of the story Uhhh... That's enough I am taking admission in law... 😌.. Yes.. Seriously.. I ve just completed 12th...and had some confusion choosing a career... Thnx dude✌
Ok so here’s some qualities about me.. My zodiac is Pisces sun Gemini rising & Gemini moon. It depends on the book.. I’ve read some pretty big ones. I would rather watch the movie, but it depends. I’m sometimes opinionated, but sometimes not.. like sometimes I cave into what other people think which I know is bad. Especially my parents. I can almost never argue or have a different opinion than them. And when I do try to argue to prove a point, it drains me because I’m getting no where with it. I’m not very good at keeping secrets.. like I’m ok at it. I’m SUPER good at keeping my own secrets. But if a friend has a secret that isn’t that important I might spill to one person or something. But If it’s a big secret I won’t spill. My time management is not great, but I’m taking several courses about it this summer so that’s good. Also, my favorite subject in school is Grammar/language arts. I’m homeschooled.. I hate speech and debate because I’m horrible at it. I can’t think of things to say on the spot. Ok.. so.. Should I be a lawyer/attorney? Pleaseee tell me what you think and If you need to know anything else lol. I’m 15 btw so I will probably grow out of many of my bad habits. 💕
I want to become one but what bothers me is, I am not able to remember things. It was like I have a short term memory loss. So for the people who are able to fight for their dream on becoming a lawyer, please do your best. Some people want to be on your shoes, so let's dream on behalf of them.
Great video! Great insight into what lawyers do and addressing some misconceptions people have about lawyers! I recently graduated law school and passed the bar exam. Unfortunately I lost my job due to coronavirus cutback and I started a channel documenting my journey back to getting a job and starting my legal career. I decided I would use this setback as a set up to make a comeback! I would love any feedback people have! Keep up the great content!
How are things going? I subscribed to your channel but there's no public content now. I'm an attorney in North Carolina and also have a legal-themed channel. :)
People tell me I should think about being a Lawyer, I have been thinking about, especially after watching suits but I’m scared I’m not smart enough to do it. It’s such a daunting career.
Confidence? When faced with strangers my voice just /squeaks/ Little details? I do not remember where I placed my water, and where I have last seen my hair tie. Time management? Does it still count when you pass an assignment one minute before the deadline? But someone told me: more than existing knowledge, the eagerness to learn is an imporrant factor to grow :)
Since I was a kid I really love arguing and standing my point, I always enjoy watching debates and finding myself one of them. I also love investigating! I love big books. The big the book, the more its knowledge.
totally get u ! although, i remember one argument with my dad that brought tears to my eye. i just wouldn't stop, i sat in the bathroom for hours. something sparked. u will cry ! it's what makes us human. but to stand up strong afterwards and sticking to your word, is the real deal. i love to learn ! something that keeps me running. and that is... the biggest reason why i want to do law. i want to learn how to put emotions back and to stand up for a client. that made me feel... powerful after thinking about that. also shoutout for the dad for making me cry coz i feel that found my passion. i hope u get to be, what u want to be.
Yo I think I check off everything except: Pay attention to detail Exude confidence (sadly) Standing for what you believe in (I think that is influenced by my confidence)
i am 18 and i have already chosen law as my carrer.......its 9 on 10 for me.......except for enjoying debates....i love debates that makes me curious for knowing more on that topic of debate!!!....thanku after school tv
I like the video. I learned very much and first time watching and listening to you. I believe about the introduction to lawyer that is going to very broad and my understanding is really broad so much.
Law is one of the best course out there for anyone to study, I always wished to be a lawyer, but I never got the opportunity. That's why I struggle day and night to provide for my kid so he can be a lawyer.
confidence takes a big part in becoming a lawyer.. I got everything except for confidence. I want to change that, but its difficult since ive grown up with a really small portion of confidence.
I have no idea what I want to do in life. Coming from an Asian family and not being good in maths has been hard for me. Although I have been interested in becoming a lawyer this gives me some hope. I know like any other job I'll have to work hard.

I can always learn new things it's fun to me.
i love u for this
Most who know these , they dont say I study law , or take up law but the most correct way is I read law , you read law and understand the issue , what is the law , applies the law to the issue and get the conclusion or the remedy ! In jurisprudence , that is study law , you study the science of law and the jurist answer to the applications to the law !
Thank you.
Yay!!! I just need confidence now...
I am a lawyer:
Heyy, I am do not like to argue and I hate debates too rather I have all the qualities, can I be a lawyer? Or I should just.
Omg yay! I fit in with 7/10 of these, I can't wait! Being a lawyer is highkey my dream job-
After watching this video, I realized I have this qualities, no wonder I help many problems and case and ended up on the winning side...

Got them all but the confidence and time management skills haha
Even I struggle to speak in front of many people and don't have the talent of debating, I still hope to learn and achieve this dream in God's will.
I’ve always wanted to speak about what I believe in and after watching this video I’ve gotten 9/10 of these signs
I’m so happy!

Same girl! Do what your heart’s desire🫶
I graduate law school in 4 weeks. If you’re smart you shouldn’t spend hours reading casebooks. Lexis nexis and west law are life savers because they give you summaries of cases.
Very poweful video
Please make more videos like this, eg. businessmen, financial analysts, quantity surveyor, computer IT, etc
I stand for want I believe in,I have that confidence,I also have intergrity..I pay attention to details
There are loopholes but I'm trying to fill it up slowly. I know this is the path that I should take.
Hahaha this is so true as a lawyer you learn to enjoy books and understand knowledge is the greatest power move of all. But for any one who wants to pursue this career only passion can push you through it and God because it's challenging but not hard at all
9/10 I need to work on my confidence
same
im super confident in myself and im sure i will be a good lawyer .
This really good. You need all the traits or be prepared to develop them. Five would not cut it. If you are reading this at 17 or 18 years old then you can learn these skills.
I'm my own lawyer.
I always defend myself very well.
I love myself so much that I refuse to share myself with someone else. 😌
I just got into first year law and just found this video. I got around 7-8 points..not sure if I'm a fast reader but I do catch points through writings. Anyways, good luck to you future lawyers reading this. :)
i’ll be back here after 10 years. hope we all do well.
1.you stand for what u believe in
2.you pay attention to detail
3.you enjoy debates
4.you love arguing to prove a point
5.you keep secrets
6.you try to get all angles of the story
Uhhh... That's enough I am taking admission in law... 😌.. Yes.. Seriously.. I ve just completed 12th...and had some confusion choosing a career... Thnx dude✌
Godangit I trying to avoid being a lawyer but I just so happen to qualify on the list
I like arguing to make a point that makes me feel like I was born to be a lawyer
It’s 2021 and just graduated from high school and I’m now on to law school , I’ll be back in 4 years to confirm that I have attained my law degree
Good luck!
I want to become one but what bothers me is, I am not able to remember things. It was like I have a short term memory loss. So for the people who are able to fight for their dream on becoming a lawyer, please do your best. Some people want to be on your shoes, so let's dream on behalf of them.
Dawh. Don’t give up on your dreams! I have a terrible memory too but the trick to law school is remembering the overarching themes.
Interesting video...thank you...
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video!
Can u plz give me some tips I'm still deciding if I should pursue it or not🤔 I'm 14
How are things going? I subscribed to your channel but there's no public content now. I'm an attorney in North Carolina and also have a legal-themed channel. :)
Anyone can become a lawyer, what you need is sheer commitment and passion.
Thank you so much.
I am a Lawyer and I have the same signs.
Congratulations
I'm a senior high school student, i'll come back here after . I promise❤️
I am an apprentice lawyer and I can say it is fun to be a lawyer 🤩
I got 7 quality but I believe I will be a advocate one day for sure fighting!!!
10/10 i wanna be a lawer anyway
People tell me I should think about being a Lawyer, I have been thinking about, especially after watching suits but I’m scared I’m not smart enough to do it. It’s such a daunting career.
So relatable. I scored 10/10.
My dream is to be a judge though
Same!
Im sure you will be a great judge

Confidence? When faced with strangers my voice just /squeaks/
Little details? I do not remember where I placed my water, and where I have last seen my hair tie.
Time management? Does it still count when you pass an assignment one minute before the deadline?
But someone told me: more than existing knowledge, the eagerness to learn is an imporrant factor to grow :)
Since I was a kid I really love arguing and standing my point, I always enjoy watching debates and finding myself one of them. I also love investigating! I love big books. The big the book, the more its knowledge.
I love everything you have told but i am scared by bod books
iam 16yrs now and iam looking forward to become a lawyer iam good in everything.
i easily get hurt and sensitive sometimes I respond irrational on arguments and criticism so how am i going to say i would be a good lawyer some day 😂
totally get u ! although, i remember one argument with my dad that brought tears to my eye. i just wouldn't stop, i sat in the bathroom for hours. something sparked. u will cry ! it's what makes us human. but to stand up strong afterwards and sticking to your word, is the real deal. i love to learn ! something that keeps me running. and that is... the biggest reason why i want to do law. i want to learn how to put emotions back and to stand up for a client. that made me feel... powerful after thinking about that. also shoutout for the dad for making me cry coz i feel that found my passion. i hope u get to be, what u want to be.
same LOL
Very helpful video!
Altho the video says I’m born to be a lawyer, I’m still gunna go to medical school and become an OBGYN.
Sounds like a much better, and more lucrative career path. Good luck!
Yo I think I check off everything except:
Pay attention to detail
Exude confidence (sadly)
Standing for what you believe in (I think that is influenced by my confidence)
Ask me what i work in 6 years
i am 18 and i have already chosen law as my carrer.......its 9 on 10 for me.......except for enjoying debates....i love debates that makes me curious for knowing more on that topic of debate!!!....thanku after school tv
Hi, How can I improve my time management skills as a Lawyer. I appreciate in advance. Thanks.
I know...me too...
Declutter, be Decisive, Remove Distractions???
I like the video. I learned very much and first time watching and listening to you. I believe about the introduction to lawyer that is going to very broad and my understanding is really broad so much.
Thanks for sharing!
Law is one of the best course out there for anyone to study, I always wished to be a lawyer, but I never got the opportunity.
That's why I struggle day and night to provide for my kid so he can be a lawyer.
Mam plz First ask your kids what they want to be then decide and your kids must be proud of you to work hard for their future ☺️
Don't listen your kid just do them lawyer 🔥🔥🔥
i show a love and passion for law, i conclude i am simply great and passionate for the subject. i got a 9 out of 10, only excluding time management.
Am i the only one who got 1/ 10 for only having integrity and still pursue to be a lawyer?? And very honest that you cant keep secrets haha
I can and that's on scorpio donimation on your chart😩✌
confidence takes a big part in becoming a lawyer.. I got everything except for confidence. I want to change that, but its difficult since ive grown up with a really small portion of confidence.
I really dont have an idea what I should be. But if I can pick I would pick maybe a lawyer, CEO, or a doctor or lastly an anesthesiologist. sEND heLP
Is it only me who does not possess most of these qualities but very eager to become a lawyer no matter what?
I have no idea what I want to do in life. Coming from an Asian family and not being good in maths has been hard for me. Although I have been interested in becoming a lawyer this gives me some hope. I know like any other job I'll have to work hard.
