I'm an ISFP, and I can tell you that something that has really frustrated someone in my life who is probably an ENTJ is my apparent lack of caring. There was one time when I messed up on something I had promised to do for this person; and even though I was inwardly ashamed and anxious over my failure, my voice on the phone with them didn't convey that. The incorrect conclusion they drew was that I didn't care. I'm an emotional person, but I'm not an ESFP. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve.
Something else about me that has definitely annoyed people is bringing my personal convictions into a conversation. I have to be careful to not come off as holier than thou when I'm talking to someone about an important issue. It's not that I feel like I'm better than the person I'm talking to. It's that the strength of my convictions can make me seem like I think that I'm better/superior.
Something that has frustrated and probably confounded people who care about me is my lack of ambition and life planning. It's a struggle for me to engage my weak Te in order to improve my circumstances.

As an ISFP, one thing about us is our ability to put ideas and memories away, but they still run like a background app. For instance, I'll see a math problem and already have it solved before I can consciously figure out how to solve it. I can't tell you how many times I've been interrogated by my math teacher because I couldn't explain how I got my answer. I tend to create one-size-fits-all templates in my head that help in various situations. Usually, my goal isn't so much about accomplishing a task, as it is about doing it more efficiently.

After graduating high school, and not going to college to follow my infj parent's advice, I've been in a constant fi-ni loop, and I'm recognizing it in so many areas of how I think in this particular emotional environment. i find myself daydreaming about what I want *Fi), but not having the guts to leave home (Te) and actually start my own life. Having an Ni dominant authoritarian figure has sort of squashed my bravery, so I'm paranoid and fearful of the future. i also am ALWAYS having (ironically well-said) arguments in my head about how I feel about things, but I don't think It's my place to voice them because I don't want to be disrespectful. I feel like my independence is looked down on, and I just need that one push to get out on my own. I have always had trouble with getting my ideas done, or working in them on my own. What I appreciated about school was the forced structure where it gave me windows to insert my own creativity. The funny thing is that I don't consider myself terribly creative on my own, and I'm always questioning the value of anything I create (I mostly am into fiber arts like crocheting and knitting, but I can draw really well too), I'm indecisive about everything, which is exhausting. Honestly, the more and more I watch these isfp videos, the more I think I'm at a really unhealthy stage of being an isfp. I just turned 19, and I still don't feel like I'm allowed to make my own decisions. It scares me, and I'm always thinking about this strange limbo place I'm in where I'm going to fuck up really bad in the future, so now I'm just dreading when that's inevitably going to happen. And I'm terrible at explaining myself verbally, so I've conditioned myself to avoid the conflict of certain discussions because I can never accurately express my issues in the socially acceptable time-frame that conversations run at. Like, I can't take an hour break to find the right words that might be possible if I were writing. And then I ramble (sort of like in this comment lmao), and I cry because I'm frustrated, which makes talking all the more difficult!
I think the mbti has made me and my infj parent frustrated with all the newly-defined flaws that we see in each other, instead of make us more open and understanding. I don't know, it's been a rough road. I might be depressed, I have no idea.

Nice breakdown of the functions! I'm ISFP and relate to soooo much. However, while I am black and white sometimes, I do find myself being grey and not knowing what I think or feel with some issues, whether it's moral or philosophical or political. And the reason I think is that 1) either I'm not well-informed enough of the issue and someone has to fill me in on certain aspects which makes me see it in another perspective (which for me is quite "scary" at first, but also intriguing) or b) I don't care enough to make a strong either-or statement.
Also I am self righteous / virtuous sometimes , that's true. But I rarely make it a point verbally, that is shoving my beliefs down someones throat, I think that's more Te / Fe actually. I feel it strongly on the inside, but since Fi is so subjective, I know that it is every persons right to feel differently and therefore I don't want to impose myself on others "freedom".
Funnily enough I want to be able to speak my mind more, to practice running an argument and following it through. This probably falls into your conversation on avoiding in a conflict and becoming "mute". When people in my life have balanced out judging functions ( for example T&F in the middle of the stack) I find myself learning how to argue and see different sides quite well because they don't come off as intimidating or prejudiced, but more open minded and exploratory.

I recommend researching 'narcissitic personality disorder' (NPD) / 'cluster-B'; and know that they are the 'root of all evil' (especially 'ESFJ/ESTJ-narcissits'; Myers-Briggs reference, look it up)!
European 'ESFJ' are the worst personality type, and they are responsible for inventing 'racism' and colonization! It is in their neuro-psychology!!
The are extremely 'manipulative' and often use 'looking pretty' to distract others from the witch's mind-games / mind-rape, e.g. gaslighting, playing the victim or damsel in distress, creating 'flying-monkeys', and paying others to attack (or at times kill) someone for her. When caught, she will use her minions as scapegoats. European ESFJ are notorious for this especially in a racist context, e.g. Elliott Till.
ISFP (and ESFP) are the most complicit, narcissitic-enablers. ISFP also tend to be 'oblivious-codependants' (look up the definition).

the only time i felt a little roasted was when you said that youre sort of creating a philosophy of why you don't have to do so much, because..
genuinely Se sees other people and how theyre interacting with each other and space. Often times I see more "productive" people work themselves to the bone to get the "success" they want at the cost of their relationships and quality of physical health and mental health. Which I think Isfp and istp really care about like physical health. So the philosophy isn't like just a temporary excuse to get out of things- I think for me at least I genuinely don't think it's ethical for me to work myself to death or conform to what other people want me to do or spend my time how others see fit. I want to enjoy life and yea honestly live in the moment. I think everyone deserves that right and to some degree I think that has to do with how much society values people and contentment instead of like chasing material things and climbing a social ladder.
Being valued for who you are and not how much you have accomplished or can give and valuing others in the same respect I think is really important and almost like this unconditional love sort of mentality. Ironically with Se parent Isfp wants to give others the best experience they can. Just not being valued based off of monetary things I guess you know because it feels very shallow. Shallow and a little untrustworthy.

Re: goals. I don't have a problem with goals as a whole; it's evident they're an important part of organizing anything and moving forward in a directed way. But I do have a problem with some of the western belief that surrounds goals culture; particularly the belief/insinuation that if you are struggling, it must be because you aren't planning/grinding effectively enough and need to adapt. When in reality, capitalist society purposefully traps people in poverty. It purposefully makes sure some people are unhoused to scare the working class. It is specifically designed to consolidate any and all power over land, resources, factories, etc., into the hands of a few people. Some people will work very hard and effectively, and still lose everything.
I bring this up not to criticize you; I haven't seen any indication you think this way. But I bring it up because it's something I see hinted at in some conversations about MBTI, especially when a more goal-oriented, future-planning type is talking about a more idealistic, improvisational type. The insinuation is that the idealistic, improvisational type needs to be reigned in and brought back to reality, and I don't think that's a complete picture of the situation; I think it's biased toward what the goal-oriented, future planning type believes life is about. I think a more accurate picture of the situation in the capitalist context is that the goal-oriented, future planning type needs to be less accepting of the status quo and the idealistic, improvisational type needs to be more directed in their opposition to it. They probably can complement each other in this way, where the one is an effective organizer of opposition and the other is effective at making sure things are not being derailed into an opportunist direction.
There is something else to this as well that I find curious, which is that the degree of stubbornness between those two polarities may get exaggerated in typing descriptions because of personal conflicts where people are feeling invalidated and ignored, and doubling down on their behavior as a result. So to get a bit more specific, you can imagine something like:
Planning type: You need to take care of this thing yesterday! It's very important!
Improvisational type: But it's not that important to me.
Planning type: It doesn't matter if it's important to you, you need to care about the consequences!
Improvisational type: I can deal with those consequences when they come.
Planning type: You aren't prepared for that!
Improvisational type: I don't need to be, I'm fine with improvising.
So the planning type is feeling like their obvious advice about handling what they see as the "realities of life" in a practical way is being ignored. And the improvisational type is feeling like their obvious capability with handling what they see as the "realities of life" as they come is being ignored. In reality, you can plan poorly and you can improvise poorly. There are no guarantees either way. But the planning type sees theirs as the best way for everybody (because they are projecting it outward) and the improvisational type sees theirs as the best way for them (because they are projecting it inward) resulting in this tension that is a "takes two to tango" conflict, but feels one-sided from the improviser's perspective because they are projecting inward and the other person is projecting outward. Neither is really being fair. The planner needs to be more understanding of differing ways of living life and the improviser needs to be more thoughtful about how their way of life impacts those around them, for better or worse, recognizing that just because they aren't projecting their way outward doesn't mean they aren't impacting other people's lives. Or something like that.

I love ENFJs. I am an ISFP and have always loved the ENFJs in my life. My nephew is super cool and me and him bond really well. My ENFJ coworkers are awesome, also out side of work I love them. Want to find me a single ENFJ someday

@@Sweet_Steve yea. The isfp I like is the only type I've been unable to fully read emotionally. Leaves him rather mysterious which I find attractive. Of course he has other qualities too I like. And he is always unpredictable which sometimes drives me crazy but I also enjoy. It's frustrating at times cause I can't fully read him. I can to a extent but he is good at hiding when he wants too. However I do sense he is holding back feelings for me out of fear. I recognize the signs cause I've been the same way in the past after being hurt one to many times. His actions speak more then his words, but I'd love to hear him say he likes me too at some point. I'm patient. ^_^

@@XxBrittany20xX That's awesome you have love and patience for him. It's hard to get ISFPs to move off their course sometimes, and do things they are not "planning" or really "feeling" like changing or doing. I would ask questions to him and see what his plans are, and what his feelings are on who he would want to be with. Maybe get him to think some on different possibilities, of say relationships. Food for thought is powerful for ISFPs to maybe see things differently.
Keep feeding him thoughts and questions, and see if he is really someone who does have any desire for someone like you or not.
I hope things workout between him and yourself.

Also to add, when he feels safe enough and trusting enough of you.. or he gains enough confidence or.. less fear holding himself back.. he will open up to you.
Im projecting some, but I would strongly go with that approach

Do u know INTJ's bronze pair is ESFJ? Both will have all 8 cognitive functions as top 4 functions which balances the introvert and extrovert. It also good for growth like Ne child looks upto Ni hero etc.., And INTJ's pedagogue relationship is ESFP Which is more difficult to handle as romantic relationship.

Actually the INTJ’s pedagogue relationship is with the ENFP and ISTJ for the ESFP.

I couldn't tell who is the man and who is the female in this video. This lack of clear balance made me uneasy, good content though. You should find yourself someone with more masculine traits, I can tell the importance. You are looking for a leader and he is looking for a leader. He can't deliver what you're asking for. My comment might come off as offense and that's ok.
