You said it, criminals know about these supposed "safe" areas. They realize that people are relaxed and unaware of their surroundings. There is a great city in the northeast where nowhere is "safe" anymore. But the caveat is that no one can defend themselves so criminals have no fear. This may sound weird, but I attribute my situational awareness to my military career and working in an industrial center. Sure, being in the Navy and being trained helped immensely, but walking around in shipyards, antenna shops, machine shops or just on the waterfront forces you to keep your head up and eyes open ... getting clocked by a davit swinging off the back of a flatbed will RUIN your weekend plans. Trust me, that lesson sticks with you long after the lump subsides ... lol. Seriously though, the last thing a criminal wants to see is someone who's alert and aware ... they aren't super-villains, they're predators and someone who's head is on a swivel is usually too much trouble.

We have a Constitution, and if you (Feds) are going to operate in our State, this will be the "Legal Interpretation" of the Constitution in our State. Irrespective of what you think it is, or the Federal Judiciary. We make the laws in our own State, including Legal Definitions about the Constitution. I like it, the same thing is starting to happen here in Canada, because the Feds need to be "reined in".
It's Texas you need to assume everybody has a gun 🤦♂️
Most in Texas do not carry firearms. Many won't pass the background. It's really risky inside San Antonio, because if someone sees it, they can call police and the police put you in jail until the judge dismisses the charge. "The process is the punishment" ugh!
Same here in Arizona. The difference is that you'll be arrested and charged if you shoot a criminal or an illegal breaking into your car or house because we have a Woke Democratic Governor.
This is why I also carry a less lethal option so I can defend myself without worrying about the Woke DA.
@Joreel some just has to get their group together and fire the DA.
Good luck, Arizona is liberal now
We don’t mess around in northern Idaho. It’s very safe to assume everyone has a gun on them or very very close by.
Law is never on the side the property owner or those protecting themselves, family or friends.
Nope.
I'm in San Antonio. Most of the robbers are armed these days. They have no remorse killing someone.
This guy is so clear and concise with explanations. So many others (lawyers) spread too much manure when talking about gun laws.
And our government doesn’t think this isn’t going to increase 1,000 fold with the current course our country has chosen.
Our country didn't choose it.. joe biden did.
Quit the fear mongering. Chicago has been like this for decades.
You are wrong, they are counting on it. The strategy for ruling over people with fear is always being tried in various ways.
Kamala Harris said she will continue Joe Biden's OPEN BORDER and supporting of 10 million illegal immigrants with free housing, education, health ins, groceries, while we have a homeless crisis. Our tax payer dollars going to keep up people who have never paid taxes in our country.

USCCA is a joke. If my life is on the line after being forced to use my firearm, I don't want an insurance company deciding if my actions were justified or not and leaving me high and dry. Attorneys On Retainer is much better than USCCA.
Do you have any specific examples or are you just bitching for the sake of it?
@@damoclesecoe7184 it's not bitching if it's true. They've dropped people because they thought the person was guilty before they even went to trial, deny coverage, demand repayment of money they paid out, should I keep going or does that suffice for your ego?
@@jdaniel11405822 I've asked for examples and you have yet to provide any. You call me egotistical, yet you act as though your word should be law on the matter. Either back up what you're saying or go find an echo chamber to cry into.
@damoclesecoe7184 I gave examples but you chose to ignore them. I don't live in an echo chamber, I actually look things up and learn things for myself. I never said my word was end all be all, I was just giving a response with examples.
@@damoclesecoe7184 erm…. is this not 'said' echo-chamber?
@jdaniel11405822 , post linkys to what you 'actually looked up and learned', else is really does seem like bitching for the sake of it.
I live in San Antonio, that area isn't exactly safe. As for me, wallet, keys, phone, Glock 19, everyday.
Exactly! They will try you in broad daylight in that area if you are caught slipping!
I live about an hour and a half south of San Antonio. I've been carrying since I moved here in May 2012 after getting out of the Army. Myself and a majority of the people I know don't leave home without carrying. I conceal carry 100% of the time and open carry when I'm working on a ranch. Even when I open carry I still have my EDC on me.
If you break into my home, it's implicit that you are invading ME.
Bad bad bad idea.
Bad.
Indeed. In my state, the law presumes that anyone breaking into an occupied dwelling is there to inflict grievous bodily harm or death to the occupant(s) - deadly force to defend yourself or others under the roof is authorized, even if it turns out that the intruders were unarmed. Our Castle Doctrine also covers us while in/on our motor vehicles. And we have Stand Your Ground, and constitutional carry. In short, it's a really dangerous place for anybody wanting to F**k Around and Find Out.
Been a lot of similar armed robbery ambushes in high-end mall areas in Los Angeles too, and quickly becoming a trend with the holiday season just around the corner. That one lady tourist in Newport Beach sadly ran over by the robbers’ car costing her life a few months ago and just yesterday a man followed and shot in front of his Lambo SUV after an attempted robbery in Costa Mesa. Be aware of your surroundings this holiday season, don’t go to stupid places at stupid times, watch your six and better yet get trained with a gun and get a CCW license however possible.
Agree 100% with Colion about never turning your brain off; even in a safe place. You just never know…
That's how we have to defend ourselves today, this world is crazy!!!
They should make a law that keeps criminals from going to nice areas...oh, wait...criminals dont obey laws...oh, well...
It called having cops patroling at all times,.
They should make guns illegal entirely. Surely that will stop all gun crime.
@@GreenBlueWalkthrough Even then, a patrol can be not in a specific area, opening it up for opportunities
@Ange1ofD4rkness True, but a police presence is definitely more of a deterrent.
Democrat ran cities don't prosecute criminals
Give the Father and son a community award! They have been forced to defend themselves because their DOJ is not doing their job.
Never let your guard down. Paranoia is just above average spacial awareness.
Thanks for keeping us informed on 2A issues. Keep up the great work.
Feeling safe and being safe is getting harder in this country. Its a crying shame.
Its because too many people are Making Decisions based off emotions that mistakes get made. You should never make decisions based off how you are feeling in Any emotional state of mind. Feeling safe and BEING safe are 2 very different things.
no one,.....and I mean no one has ever been safe in this country.......even the colonizers had to protect themselves from other colonizers.........................
It’s the downstream effect of cultural decay.
John Lennon said “Happiness is a Warm Gun”. Just shortly before he was delivered of this world by a bullet. Ironic, hmmm?
@@douglasduda9826Great point! We are à bloodthirsty society! You have insurance caĺl your agent! I am not getting into à shooting contest with my family present. Take the damn car. It's so sad to read some of these stupid comments over a piece of metal!
Women feel something...men prepare and respond...
I carry nearly all of the time, no different than carrying your billfold, keys, pocket knife, or phone.
You said it, criminals know about these supposed "safe" areas. They realize that people are relaxed and unaware of their surroundings. There is a great city in the northeast where nowhere is "safe" anymore. But the caveat is that no one can defend themselves so criminals have no fear. In addition to this, the definition of a felonious crime has been altered to a small narrow window.
I bet if the View covers this story they’ll call for CPS to take the boy away like they threw the mall hero in Minnesota under the bus 🤦♂️
A father and son both upping that shit simultaneously to protect their family is mad gangster
NOWHERE in downtown San Antonio are you “SAFE”!
Almost all of San Antonio is bad. I’ve lived on every side.
@@SomeRandomVatothe MSNBC show lock up San Antonio showed nothing but Hispanic gang members in the county. Like entire pods nothing but gang members.
@@SomeRandomVatoMy wife and I were planning to move to San Antonio after retirement. Our daughter is in Texas. We gave up and are now house shopping in Rural Pennsylvania.
@@Duke_of_Prunes look into surrounding cities like Helotes. Boerne. Schertz. Selma. Small towns in Texas is the way to go.
@@Duke_of_Prunes new braunfels is also a beautiful place just outside San Antonio.
i used to park in this parking lot every day to go to work and to see it on the news is no surprise to me. it’s a sketchy spot for sure and i’d always be on alert here. definitely not a safe one and props to the son and dad for protecting themselves adequately.
"The possibility that one's intended victim is armed was evidently a concern to most of these men- the strong majority (81%) agreed that it was wise to find out in advance if one's potential victims are armed, and to avoid them if they are."

a survey of incarcerated felons'

Peter H. Rossi
People should feel more comfortable being there and shopping there, knowing that "the people" will protect each other in that area. At least the woman (1:00) was honest and said that "the fact that the culprit was caught makes her feel a little bit more comfortable". It's refreshing to hear common sense and honesty.
Always be aware of your surroundings. In ccw class, the instructor taught us his system of assigning a red/orange/yellow/green colors in your mind to the ppl and things going on around you.
It amazes me the amount of people who agree with "you gotta know the laws" and constitutional carry at the same time.
What the reporter and Colion didn't tell you is the "son" was seven years old.....THIS IS TEXAS!
Yeehaw
Love that comment
Thank you for your service.
Well they did choose to commit the crime
Most of the time it does not seem to matter, in Court they will Always make the criminals out to be Angels and the victims or defenders in this case out to be blood thirsty Monsters.
Stay strapped, stay vigilant ya’ll.
California governor would say turn and run
No he would say stand there and call cops but don't leave scene
and cry "I'm a victim" at the same time
Fighting back is racist
He would say give the criminals a gift card and a hug.
NY Governor too; first duty is to retreat, lethal force can only be justified if you’ve already tried to retreat or if you can’t retreat. Always thought the duty to retreat was BS a gives power to criminals over the law abiding, as it puts an undue burden on the law abiding before they can defend themselves.
USCCA must be paying pretty well these days to still be peddling there lack of coverage
Thanks for the video and this goes to show everyone you have to be vigilant and prepared in any situation
Keep in mind the "Reporters" choose which interviews to air, when they fit their narrative. There were probably 10 Texans that said "I THINK IT WAS BADASS!!"
The old lady said she felt better that the criminals were caught.
Uscca is not good, it's just an insurance company, go with us law shield or attorney on retainer
Thanks for sharing the news, that the news outlets don't wish to share‼️
Be very, very careful when you choose a so called victim.
No such this as a safe place. Some people simply do not understand that.
I spent hundreds of dollars and drove for an hour to get my CHL, just so I can protect myself. Now I have to make sure it's after 7:25PM on a Thursday afternoon, and the moon has to be a waxing crecent, otherwise, I get charged with murder. This country is wild.
Except if you went to summer school to get a badge - then you'll have qualified immunity.
@ZekeRivers police academy is not summer school lol. I've been to DPSST, and my brother was an officer with Portland Police. The training is very thorough.
@@VortexStolenName 'Very thorough' - but they don't spend any time on the Constitutional rights. Like I said - summer school for delinquents.
Brother you should be a college professor or a teacher. You are not at all boring when you talk and you have a way of making people listen and you speak clearly.
Thanks for that discussion re: protection of property vs life. Love your content Mr Noir!!
Arrested the woman on a classy warrant which means she already had a warrant she’s a criminal but yet the sympathies are going to the bad guys who after they got shot went for their free medical care of course disgusting.
I don't think that I am safe anywhere, even in my own home!
That's why it is called 'home invasion'.
So correct! I cannot believe how many people just aimlessly go about their day regardless of where they are
2A works. Agree, criminals gravitate to areas where people feel safe like - 'GUN FREE ZONES' .
I wear boots (about half the time steel toe), I use a cane, knife, & gun. My belt can be used for defense. Pens and pencils can be weapons.
Your mindset, including accepting that you may get hurt, however you must carry on, is critical.
USCCA ❌️ (just another insurance company that will do anything to not pay out)
Attorneys On Retainer ✅️ (actual attorneys that will try to help)
You love to see it. Thanks 2A. Thanks Jesus! Thanks Colin for sharing this story. Be blessed.
