Thank you,Colion❤
It's a sad thing that a scumbag criminal can commit a series of crimes on your property, then turn around and sue you when you defend yourself. Who actually thinks this is a good idea? Why would any reasonable people allow this to happen?
My neighbor would hear the backhoe fire up and come see if I need help. Enough said.
Attorneys on Retainer are much better than USCCA do your homework and find out for yourself.
That's terrible news--------------- 'he was released from hospital and is now in jail'
Thanks Most Kindly Colion! You always have good information! Many Blessings to You and your Family! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
2A-handle YOUR business!!! You’re on your own until you’re not.
People carry themselves differently when they think it can't happen to them, that mindset makes them a more appealing target.
The father would be arrested for attempted murder in CA.
I'm not sure I'd agree this happened in a "safe" area. That home had bars on the windows like some of the worst neighborhoods in Philly. Fort Worth might be relatively safe overall, but that neighborhood looks less so. Good on the homeowner for being prepared to defend his family and their home.
I dont blame anyone for being trigger happy when they are sleepy.
300 BLK to chest and "victim's side of story" isn't a thing.
Shot placement is still a thing. We had soldiers in WW2 survive D-Day after taking a german 8mm Mauser hit with 1940 medical tech and those have twice the energy of supersonic 300blk and like 4x the energy of subsonic loads.
There is only one way that this story could have ended any better than it did.
I'm surprised they didn't arrest him for defending the family
It’s Texas. That helps
Why would anyone want to break into someone 's home inTexas
Uhhh, imagine having to look over your shoulder the rest of your life.
in Jersey the homeowner would be locked up and have to pay the intruders medical bills.
In CA you'd be charged for shooting him and defending yourself and your family. Sad!
Police arrived "minutes later"... they make it sound like it's fast, but if they had been unarmed how could they have protected themselves for a few minutes!?
"It's about being prepared for the aftermath which is why USCCA is my favorite insurance scam."
Insurance legally can't cover crimes. When you call USCCA after a self-defense incident, you aren't immediately speaking with an attorney, so that call is not privileged. If you're convicted, _you_ pay all the lawyer fees, etc. Go with actual attorneys instead, whoever they are, not an insurance company.
Of all of the Firearms related and Pro-2nd Amendment people on UA-cam this is by far the best one I have found. Always speaks in a calm tone of voice. Never let's emotion color his discussions. He uses simple logic and reason when he presents his facts to watcher. There isn't any of the BS you get with others. It's just a simple, straight forward, presentation of the facts without any qualifiers or any biases.
After a shooting, as the police will often take your firearm as evidence, you need to have at LEAST one spare firearm. It's also a good idea to have at least two firearms just in case you have a problem with one and need to send it somewhere to be repaired.
I heard you loud and clear. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Geez, get attorneys on retainer! They won't make you pay back legal fees if u plea
In Canada, the homeowner would be in jail. The assailant would be walking the streets.
First mistake, keeping him alive.
Second mistake, calling Po.
If you don't call the police then you will be charged with Murder. duh.
If you DON’T call the police, it is MURDER, stupid!
Now picture the incident happening in New York or a similar state, and the suspect is released with no bond while you sit in jail charged with shooting him
When they say your home is your castle that means it’s yours to defend, not that it’s actually a fortress (unless you’ve made it one). When seconds count, police are minutes away. Police are not your bodyguards and will not be held accountable if someone harms you.
Everyone in the house would lose their hearing for 4 hours if this happened to me.
Thanks Colin...forcthe truth!
Hopefully the DA won't come after them for protecting themselves. Also, hopefully the intruder doesn't come back to cause them more trouble.
Defend your family!
Keep the damn dogs inside the house.
