I've tried out a new editing style, do you guys like? If you do, let me know 'cause I'm still figuring out which editing style is my 'own'.
I honestly was dumbfounded when I visited Edinburgh because I loved it SO MUCH. I definitely think it was a good choice to visit there for my first solo trip location :D I met so many lovely people along the way, and had time to relax and find my inner peace at the top of the hills in Edinburgh. Although it wasn't that long, it really helped me refresh myself :) Hope you guys enjoy the video, and hope you're excited for the next few ones to come along as well :D X Jen

My first real solo trip (I currently live in England for my French assistant job and only did some weekends in Northern England cities until now) was also in Edinburgh and it's about to end tomorrow. I loved it, since I took a whole week I also went out to visit Glasgow, the Highlands and Saint Andrews. I really recommend Scotland

I’ve added the Airbnb link in my bio so check that out! Also I didn’t book the taxi before the trip but for the train - yes I did book beforehand! I used the trainline app to see which day and time had the cheapest tickets haha. The taxi I just took the one that was right in front of the Waverley station!

what camera are you using? it looks really good for travel vlogs, i feel too self conscious to use a big camera outside
Thank you!! Yeah I’ve recently realised the importance of colour grading so glad you pointed that out! I used gopro10 for this video! It’s perfect for travel vlogs because it’s soo small and compact! Definitely recommend! 💕

Oh it was just a walk in to a random restaurant down the street so I don’t really remember the name of the place! :’( but I do recommend u make reservations at restaurants at least 2 days before (for dinner especially) ‘cause everywhere was fully booked when I tried walking in on the day! Have fun at Edinburgh! So excited for you! :) xx

Hi, is Edinburgh safe for a solo female trip? Did you ever feel unsafe there?🥰
Oh my gosh I definitely recommend Edinburgh for a solo female trip! It was also my first trip alone ever so I was super nervous, but everyone was very kind and helpful, and I didn’t feel unsafe at all!! Especially when I went back home late after watching the sunset at Calton Hill, the streets were fairly bright and many people were still walking down the street so I didn’t feel in danger at all :)) I say give it a go! 😊😊
Will also do a solo citytrip to Edinburgh and Glasgow, just for 48h and make the most out of it =)

What’s the weather
I went there late April of 2022, and it was still pretty chilly! Especially during the walking tours I was very cold wearing a pretty warm coat. The guide told us Scotland weather is always cold so to be prepared for it hahas.
