I’ve lived in Toronto for most of my adult life, but growing up in Scotland (Dundee) my favourite thing on Sunday was my Mum’s roast dinner. Growing up in Scotland in the 50’s/60’s chicken was quite expensive so it was mostly beef or lamb. My mother, and father actually, were very good cooks but the Sunday dinner was the best. Friends always talk about the leftovers the next day. That always makes me smile. There were 5 kids in my family, so never, ever any leftovers!

Game night, or meet up for lunch or a walk, shopping and lunch. I get together with 2 lady friends every Friday and we do a potluck so we each bring a dish (main, side, dessert) and switch each week.
Wow where your walking after breaking down (hope the car gets sorted!) is stunning but love the couple you photographed the day before being up for whatever the weather!! 6 to 3 on trivial pursuit prediction?! Sorry Caroline!? I always end up leaving something behind when I stay somewhere too 🤣 I don’t think Iv ever had that tight knit friend group, and tbh it’s not something I am that bothered about. But you’re so right with the fact making friends is different as an adult!

The scenery in your garden is just stunning 😍 Sunday roast, if you want to keep it cheap and cheerful roast chicken. If you want to splurge roast beef and pork when you don’t want to splurge but don’t fancy the chicken. Not sure if that helped haha 😋
Here is a hint, when you're making pancakes, when you spoon out the first spoonful of the mix - wait until you see the bubbles burst then turn over and do the same, like wait until the bubbles burst & you should have the best pancakes in the world.

If you scan the bar code on your products with the Yuka app cerave comes out as very poor with chemicals, I stoped using it x the app is great and gives you alternative options . Xx but I do spend a long time now in shops scanning everything and saying oooo that’s not good or oooo that’s good 😂 I’ve hit the food cupboard as well 😂
