I definitely second this! My mind was just blown by the fact that she just busted out some supplies and *boom* an illustration appeared! I literally overthink and over-plan every little drawing I do so seeing this video was so much inspiration to get out of my head and onto the page! More please Mrs Kasey! 😂

I have that sketchbook! The Strathmore visual journal cotton mixed media sketchbook. It's great for waterbased markers, coloured pencils, crayons and graphite pencils. It has a lovely texture

I like the idea of used up art supplies having ghosts. Pencil stubs, dried out markers and pens… Abandoned journals and sketchbooks. 👻 and when you refill a Copic marker it’s a zooooombie marker!
I like the skeleton, he's fairly accurate, but like everyone else, he's not perfect and I love it 🥰☺️
Hahaha! This reminds me of what my sister says about/to her eldest to explain why she calls them her "pancake" - "because the first one always comes out a little wonky!" 😂 😂
As someone who also spent way too much time drawing on the ipad instead of on paper, I can’t recommened keeping up both enough! It’s so refreshing to be able to switch between the two all the time. My traditional inking gets really rusty after too long so it’s been good for me haha :’) I love my bottles of ink so much and have been using them a lot more this month!!! (not for any month long challenge tho) But it’s also nice to have digital to really go ham on the colouring :D Just depends on my mood 💕
I am a total newb when it comes to digital art and I have to say that I find it intimidating at times. Then again I occasionally get the same feeling from a blank page in a sketchbook too! 😂

when thinking of spooky art supplies, you should’ve drawn a fountain pen with blood instead of ink! i’m not sure if it’s considered an art supply but it could’ve worked 😅

I keep starting new projects that I don’t finish because ADHD but like… I wanna make a whole spooky sketchbook now!!
I forget what they are called, but if you don’t want to commit to a whole sketchbook maybe put together some of those little diy folding paper books, I feel like that could look really cute

I love that you just bust out some supplies and boom! Illustration! 😂 I have to do thumbnails, brainstorming, practice sketches and accidentally summon a demon before I am ready to do a full illustration and even then I will do the line art, tape around the edges and then panic for several days before I can even think about adding colour! 😂 (This may be why I am waaaayy behind in my Inktober/October challenges 😳🤣).
I really need to practice at getting more spontaneous with my drawings and art pieces. You have inspired me to be less....well...me! Haha! Get out of my head and onto the page! Thanks Kasey!

traditional inking does have a different look, but is just so hard with shaky hands, but they shaky hands might work for spooky drawings

That's my favorite watercolor sketchbook. I use it every inktober.
Sometimes you just have to take up a ink pe bag and let inspiration take you. That's what happened here and its brilliant
Starting a new sketchbook is a really nice feeling and it's better when you can just relax and not have to think about what you want in it or if it's messy or clean. Just draw and have fun!

Nice start Kasey, I have mostly given up on digital artworks I avoid projects where I have to use the computer. I hope you pursue this with a vigor! Why not include some Ant Illustrations you can develop more content for that coloring Art book or coffee table book depending upon what direction your currently thinking about? Yeah I am one of those. Still rooting for you! Go Kasey Go!
