hi, kasey! these are actually acrlya gouaches! they're different than regular gouaches in that they don't rewet when left to dry out. they are able to be dilutted with water, but when theyre dry, they dry like acrylics! (i put a squeeze of these in a travel palette and was surprised when i came back to a glob of useless, dried up paint that refused to rewet lol)
is it just me that sees a triangle as yellow, square as blue, and circle as red? i associate colors with everything lmao but i know a lot of people in general associate certain colors with shapes.
Pretty sure that's a sign of synesthesia. Synesthesia isn't always characterized by perceiving things differently, sometimes it's associations as well. Then again, I kinda have the same association with those shapes, so I dunno. Might want to look into synesthesia, though.
re-nyx I think that’s an ant, it hast only six legs (the two in the front being antennae) and is a bit too long for a spider I think... also it’s kasey! So definitely ant 😂
I loved these illustrations so much!! They reminded me of the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, if anyone happens to be British. The box muscle kid was just so creative and I could totally see a little kid doing this while bored one day. Good job and thanks for sharing, Kasey!
I got SO excited when I saw the new video! I love your art and you’re so creative. One of the biggest inspirations for when I started my UA-cam channel. I love everything about your channel. Thankyou Kasey
I like how you say mostly "they" while talking about your characters ! As a non binary person it makes me happy ^^ (also i love your art ! It makes me want to draw ! Thank you for your videos !)
They are kinda like the love child of watercolour and acrylics in that it is best used with water but consistency wise is similar to acrylic a lot of the time.
I love the paintings!😍 I think my favorite one is the last one with the sunburned girl holding an ice cream. She just looks so colorful and happy.😊💕 Also you and drawings waffles posted pretty much at the same time. That's a funny coincidence.😂

Acrylic has always been my favorite!♥️🤗 It's just so easy to use and you actually create really cool effects with them 💪 But, lately I've been experimenting with quache as well, and so far they've been so nice to use! 👌
I prefer gouache over acrylic, but I have never used acrylic gouache yet and I just ordered some. I know acrylic gouache is different than both acrylic and gouache, so I am curious to see if I will prefer acrylic gouache or gouache.
I love your artstyle with these paints i really love the watercolor and posca pen combo. I think these came out amazing i think these give of such kasey vibes .

I wish you good luck on whatever you create with your new paints once they arrive! :D
I swear. Kasey is always on another level in skill. I like Waffle's work too, but I never actually click her videos. Kasey's art just uses this alien tractor beam, and sucks me right in to her world. It's wild and fun. Why is her art so fun to look at?!
I think you did a great job! it is really just going into the same planning as you would with an Posca pen type illustration. The Holbein Acrlya line is my favourite. Just for the flexibility, can be diluted. Dries matte and pretty fast. And you are correct they are STUPID EXPENSIVE in Canada. One tube of Series A can cost $8 I have tried Gouche and Watercolours... I keep going back to Acrlya. I personally do not like Acrylic 'acrylic' cause some (most) are have a shiny finish.

whatever i say is invalid • 17 years ago I see triangle as green square is red and circle is blue
For m triangles are yellow, circles are blue, and squares tend to be a wild card lmaoo but usually green or red
Really? I always thought that circles would be blue, triangles red and rectangles yellow. I also see 1 as teal 2 as a reddish pink and 3 as a green
Kasey: now I will sketch!
The pen: uh no I don't think so
I'm like so in love with the type of style you've fallen into for this medium it's really just so spot on so creative and bold.
