I’ve added links to all the chemicals, accessories and pressure washer equipment in the video description as well as some discount codes. Thanks for watching!
Detailing vehicles is a favorite of mine. I really enjoy watching your detailing methods and especially the narrative that you provide. Your channel has quickly become a favorite and I always look forward to new episodes. Well done Heather!
@@AutoCareHQ Hope you enjoy, trying some different styles out of my comfort zone. Be great to have some feedback from you. Even if it's a DM as I would really appreciate your opinion 🙌
I always learn something from your videos and this was another excellent one. This time I learned something that I think is really important. When you have applied a prewash such as the citrus (that you often use) and then follow it up with a foam to allow it to continue working while prewashing the rest of the vehicle. What I learned was that the condition of your vehicle after the prewash can determine what level of finish wash that you perform. You mentioned in this video using Turtle Wax foam wash and decided that it didn't need to be the best cleaner, but it was a slick presentation and therefore did not have much abrasion when hand washing. Sorry to be so wordy but it was a great lesson. Thanks always!
Just spent 3hrs doing my M135i…..now recuperating in bed…..old age doesn’t come easy……so good to see I could have done it in half an hour🙈😂…..love your videos…..
Anyone watching this who hasn’t got a car dryer, I’d suggest getting one. They really help sorting out those pesky areas which forever drip. Plenty of options out there too.
excellent video Heather. Love how this red colour popped at the end of your cleaning process. Loads to catch up still, but I realise how relaxing your videos are, every time I'm watching one of them. Keep it up, you are rocking it.
Hi Heather 👋 a superb finish on the red paintwork there 👏. The citrus & squid ink, seemed very effective in removing the splats of bird poo! I only reference this because the same thing happened to a just cleaned mini Cooper I had been working on a few days ago ! 🙄
Once again Heather, you have worked your magic and transformed this Pug into a shining diamond. I gather using the shampoo in the foam lance helps male the paint more slick and less chance of marring when washing with the mitt ??
Thank you! Yeah that's my main reason for using it. It can be a bit overkill depending on the current condition of the paintwork but it's something I always do on my own car. It also offers a deeper clean I think because the shampoo ends up being a bit more concentrated when it's actually on the paintwork
Afternoon H, with Autumn / Winter approaching have you ever explored “other” detailing kit? No, not just bits n bobs / brushes but how often have you had wet cold feet/toes, a soaking wet cuff or cold water running down to your arm pit. Just invested on a set of pond type gloves up to the biceps and Gore-Tex trainers. Just getting nesh with age…..S.
I missed this video - great work at per usual. I should give the citrus under an alkaline snow foam a go this winter to see if it does make a difference - one for the winter I think. Annnnnd I need to try Alkafroth too.
Thanks for another video. I love them. Quality production and audio. I love the results you get, you're very talented, and I'm sure it's a secondary aim .... but I find they're very relaxing 😊
Thanks Nigel! Sometimes when I'm cleaning a more neglected car the iron fallout contamination can be a bit of a challenge and takes a lot of persistence
Peugeot looks amazing Heather, another brilliant job, just been trying out bilt hamber touchless snow foam, halfords new alloy cleaner & halfords detail spray really impressed with all products, the title wax shampoo used with the foam gun looks very impressive, looking forward to the next video❤
Hello from the the Colonie (Australia). Great to see women getting into the car detailing. Unfortunately a lot of the products I've seen used in the UK are so expensive here. Even turtle wax cost a fair bit. Which region England are you from? Is amazing how many different accents there are there.
Thanks for watching! That's a shame the products are harder to get in Australia, hopefully they become more accessible in the future. I'm from the north of England :)
Hi Heather I hope you are well for me I'm little bit sick but I'm improving so nice video always and very informative I love red color and with Kranzle pressure washer you do very good job I have also can you recommend polish for wheels I have very similar did you cleaned in the video, Best.
Hope you feel better soon Jorge. I would just use the same polish as I do on the paintwork. Scholl S40 is good for light swirls and S20 if it needs a bit more cut :)
Great video and work, Heather.👍Some very interesting products that I would like to try. As an aside, I really like the design language of the new Peugeots. They look really sharp.
Good work Heather! I also use the Turtle Wax through a cannon prior to a contact wash. Customers who stand and watch you work (why do they do that? 🤔) always ask why I do that rather than put it in the buckets. I tell them it activates the chemicals for a deeper clean 😂. Also why when they stand over you watching you clean their car and pointing at bits of bodywork or wheel that I haven’t got to yet, ask a million questions about every single piece of equipment from bucket, cannon, mit and blower? I’m sure when I have a customer who does this it add’s half an hour to each job! Sorry, moan over 😂. Good work Heather keep it up!
Hi, I cleaned my car the other day,I normaly just jet wash it and leave it,but decided to micro fibre it off and the cloth was really dirty, obviously the jet wash does not get the dirt off the paint do you think I ought to change my cleaner/method of washing,or micro fibre it every time?🤔
I’d always do a pre-wash first using either a citrus spray/ snow foam or both and then follow it up with a rinse and then a contact wash using a microfiber wash mitt and shampoo and rinse again. Then when the paint is completely clean it’s safe to dry it off with the microfiber towel so you don’t get any water spots
Hi Heather. Can I ask what the dilution is on the squid ink alkaline SF please? I use Autofoam atm but the dilution is almost 1:1 for me. BTW, Peugeot have made some good looking cars lately, that'd probably my favourite of theirs. All the best. 👍
Does the wire wool not leave scratches on the exhaust tips. I’ve tried silver polish on mine and it does not seem to cut it, but really not sure on the wire wool approach. Did you then polish again afterwards?. Thanks
Hi Heather, Whats the best tyre ckeanibg brush to purchase on the market, all the ones I buy the bristles fall out after some good use? Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks
I usually use the Detail Factory Tyre Brush on my car. The bristles are a bit softer and less aggressive than the In2Detailing one I’m using here which suits dirtier tyres
Hi Heather. Hatchbacks are a pain particularly the very tight hinged area where lots of cars get ignored and where algae can get established. Do you recommend anything in particular to shift it as I have fat fingers and detailing brushes cannot get into the tight area. Hope this makes sense?
I completely get what you mean, there can be some really difficult areas to reach. You can try using a soft toothbrush which can help due to the angle, or even some cotton swaps soaked in an APC can be quite handy as you can kind of bend them around the hinges
Very, very nice. I have to ask. I see you use a ez detail brush to clean the wheels. Have you ever experienced that brush scratching painted wheels? I haven't, but I was wondering if you ever had? Thank you.
Thanks Kim 😊 Nope I haven’t experienced scratches either. I do prefer to use a microfiber brush if I can though, but if the wheels are very dirty the EZ brush works better for me
I’ve added links to all the chemicals, accessories and pressure washer equipment in the video description as well as some discount codes. Thanks for watching!
508 is a beaut looking car...you made it look even better 👍
Beautiful Peugeot, and you can't say that too often nowadays. You definitely turned that one around Heather, great video.

Here in the states you can’t say that at all 😆

Excellent job Heather as per normal. The bird poo looked bad it can be a nightmare if it dries. So rewarding when it looks so good.
Thank you! Yeah the bird pop on this car really wasn’t ideal!
I find on my Black car it leaves a stain on the paint and I have to remove it with a compound 😂
I hadn't seen that snow foam before. Thanks for the upload! :)
Thanks for watching!
Hi like the fact you squirted the turtle pure wash from foam canon into wash bucket to foam it before snow foaming car with canon. great tip! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful job as always Heather
Hello Heather, another brilliant video, top work on this Peugeot 508,the paint come up great and the birdpoo removed as well.
Thanks Steven! The bird poo was pretty bad on this one!

Done a fantastic job Heather car looks awesome
Thanks Dave!
I thought you were going to have a bit of a challenge at first given the condition. Lol nope. Great results! 👍

The paint shine pops very nicely and i love what you did with the exhaust tips as they get neglected/ overlooked a lot.
Good job Heather 👍 👌

Thanks for your efforts Heather…

Hi Heather, another great detail 👌 results speak for themselves 👍 x

@AutoCareHQ with the mini cooper, it all came out in the wash......if you pardon my terrible pun Heather!

Hi Heather, thank you for another informative video.
How long on average does it take for you to complete your wash and detail routine?
Thanks for watching! Including filming I think this one took about 5-6 hours but without filming it'd probably be more like 2-2.5 hours
