Great work Heather, you did it again. This is a great "EXAMPLE" why you should never believe when a car is for sale and they say, one very cared for car, when in fact it could be a very neglected car.
The thing i like to do on your videos is guess "how many hits?" on the wheels and see if i get it right! And the best thing about the Rs blower is when you turn it on and watch it grow into a big wiggly worm. I was an early adopter of Yum and bought the orignal Dress product. Didn't like it. So oily and left everything feeling really greasy. I know they've done a new one now and if this is it it certainly looks a lot better (the v2 came out the same time they launched Undress I believe.) Nice range (i love the air freshener spray, its like sherbet lemons and lasts a good few days), easily my favourite thing of theirs I've tried but its' so expensive not for hobbyjobs. Im into Garage Therapy though, having tried your recommended tyre dressing (which i used on a JDM van i was asked to do a couple of months back) - there is a story to how i misused that whilst trying to film it. Maybe i'll get to post it one day. While Im here would you be able to recommend me a good acid leaning srtip wash/shampoo. Preferably one i can foam cannon (remove all mineral deposits on the whole car not just the glass as you did here) as the examples i get my hands on are always so far gone and unloved it's the only thing I'm missing from what i think is the best process and products for me (at time of writing obviously or watchign your next video and relaising i do need htat fifth wheel cleaner! haha!) and the mostly Japanese paint types I get to work on. Lovely vid as usual and that green really shows the difference and looks so much better when properly clean.
Thanks very much for watching! I have used ADBL Tangy which is mildly acidic but unfortunately it's become difficult to find in the UK now. I've heard very good thing about CarPro Descale too though. I haven't tried it personally but it sounds like it'd tick the boxes for you!
I've just bought their Lift foam to try and the video i was watching also used carpro something for the shampoo but didn't show what it was and the "shampoo" link in heir description was broken (old video). I couldn't work out which of their products was it when i tried to look myself. Just needed the name so that def confirms that one and will def be next in the shopping bag. Brilliant as always and thanks for making and the time to give me your thoughts. And very much appreciated they are too! @@AutoCareHQ
Your video's are excellent. I've now spent a small fortune on buying the equipment and products you use to clean my vehicles. I have to say the short gun for the Karcher makes an enormous difference.
Good vid! I see a lot of Garage therapy, a very local manufacturer, with not a lot of outsourcing, none of it is available in Poland 🤣 still a pleasure to watch as usual
Came across your videos and really impressed with the quality of your work. Never realised how car cleaning had progressed to the level you have shown here. I have bought some chemicals and some equipment to clean our cars this weekend. Just used the ideas that you have outlined at the moment but wow the difference it has made is amazing. Thanks very much and thankyou for sharing your experience 👍🤗
Heather, thanks for showing more before and after shots of the car compared to previous videos. I think it would also be nice to see a little more of the entire clean car at the end. You do brilliant work, thanks
Another cracking transformation Heather. I very rarely get to clean a really filthy car given I keep on top of my own vehicle but the job satisfaction must be tremendous. Top work.
The green metallic paint after your thorough detail, Heather, really does show the car off to very good effect. It will be interesting to catch up with as to how the top coat protection fares..........quality work as always Heather! 👏
Thank you for the video Heather. The Skoda looked stunning after you'd worked your magic on it. Will be intrigued to see how long the Zirconite holds up for.
Bloomin lovely! I'm proper impressed with the wheel clean, I genuinely thought you'd need a more potent product, so fair play to the GT team, and you of course, the chems don't do the job on their own. All the best Heather 👍.
Thanks Lee! Yeah the GT products did a cracking job on these wheels, I was thinking I may have to use something very strong maybe acidic given how long the brake dust had been sat on the alloys for but fortunately they weren't too bad!
I'm jealous of you all on that side of the pond having Garage Therapy products. They look and sound amazing! Hopefully they'll get a US distributor soon 🤞
My go to wheel shampoo is Garage Therapy too Heather. I’ve never used anything else since I saw you use it for the first time. And I use their Car shampoo as well. It’s really good stuff. I put GTechniq C4 trim restorer on my last car and that’s saved me using trim gell or such like for well over a year now. It’s brilliant stuff as well and very long lasting. Repels water brilliantly. Great video again 👌
Thanks David :) GT Wheel Shampoo is brilliant stuff, so is their car shampoo. I'm a fan of C4 too, had it on my own car last year and was very pleased with the results
Nice one Heather. Always a treat to see your methods and descriptions of what products you use, how and why you’re using them! Great production as always too! Perfect job! 👍🫡
It must have been very difficult to wash your car in the windy weather. Thank you for your hard work. Still, I feel good because the car is very clean.
Great job again Heather, just an observation - the Snow Foam looked a little less thick & clingy than I’ve seen you use before? Liked the close up video shots 😎
Thanks! Yep I was using the Pyramid Hydro Cannon here which doesn’t drain the bottle as fast as my MJJC so the foam is a bit less concentrated. I should’ve probs put more foam and less water in the lance to compensate tbh!
Good work Heather. One of my customers requested Zirconite to be used on his Ferrari rather than the normal Gtechniq products we have used in the past after seeing a review somewhere. So I’ve got to order a batch of product from them but watching you it seems reasonable but I would want to test it a bit first. Keep the videos coming, I’m now going on line shopping for product 🤣🤣👌👍
Thanks very much! Chris from Foxtail Detail (foxtaildetail.square.site/s/shop) has the full range if you're looking to try out some Zirconite products :)
Great vid, thanks. Have you tried using the GT tyre serum in the same way you have the Yum dress on black trim? I have black plastic wheel arch edges on my Škoda and often wondered if that would work but have refrained just in case. Keep up the great work. 🌞👏🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching :) Yep GT Tyre Serum works very similarly on the trim compared to Yum Dress. It's not super durable on hard plastics and will usually need to be applied every couple of washes though
Another interesting watch with a variation in chemicals used and from ranges that I have not seen used before. Zirconite is one that I have seen on Instagram I think but was sure it would not do what was claimed but it looks like it will so good on you for trying it. I presume it was Yum dress you used on the wheel arch ?. I picked up a tip from David McBay recently that he used the Karcher stone cleaning lance head the one that the water comes out in a spiral for carpeted wheel arches. I think it may work well and I will be trying it today on my i-Pace. I think we as detailers get sucked into buying fancy products from Brands but by using a Decon shampoo from any of our preferred manufacturers it strips tyres as well as dedicated products for a fraction of the price. Look foiward to the next one and the car looked good at the conclusion.
Thanks for watching John :) Yep it was Yum Dress that I put on the arches. Completely agree about Decon Shampoo being super versatile, I could deep clean a whole car with it and would just need a decent sealant/wax and dressing to finish it off
Well done, Heather for producing a night and day exterior clean transformation. I can imagine the owners did not recognise the car afterwards having not been cleaned for a year. How was the interior condition?
Another cracking video, young lady. Quick question please, had my car cleaned the other day, then overnight that bloody Sahara desert sand covered it with sand, grit and mess, what's the best way to deal with that please...?
Thank you! If you head over to my Instagram (instagram.com/autocarehq/) my latest post explains how I dealt with it on my car. The most important thing is to make sure you do a very good pre-wash first. It may even be worth repeating the snow foam stage just to be extra cautious
Squid Ink Citrus, ODK Breakdown and Yum Citrus won't affect LSP at a 1:10 dilution. A properly diluted snow foam shouldn't have an effect either (alkaline or pH neutral) on good waxes and sealants. Some of my favourite snow foams are Squid Ink Alkafroth and Garage Therapy Snow Foam
Thank Kim! Yep I usually just put whatever I'm using on the tyres/ trim in the arches as well. It doesn't last very long though like you said. Applying something like Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer is the best option long term but needs quite a lot of prep and is very expensive
How do cars not get dirty over there? Here, a week without a wash and the car looks like it's been standing near a construction site for 8 months. Lol 😆
Hi Heather. Thanks for another good video. QQ please, which is your favourite citrus prewash? I’ve seen you use a lot of different ones such as GR, Yum, Squidink and Valetpro. Thanks
My kids laugh at me when I pull out all the tools and bottles just to do the alloys and tyres….then after three hours of blood sweat and tears on a Sunday…oh to be 25 again…the wife takes the car to work on Monday and it’s all been pointless😂🥲…..country roads……..but bliss for a few hours at least….good job girl👍
During your prewash, do you use any ONR (no rinse) type product? During the winter months I use to simply use the pressure washer to first spray down the heavy gunk off the car, I would then apply a snow foam, then rinse, then contact wash. I am now thinking off applying ONR first, then rinsing it off, then snow foam and rinse that off so as to avoid a contact wash in winter. Advice?
Hi Heather how are you, very good job on dirty car and excellent products I would like to use in my country🇨🇦 I have a question? Can I wash my mitts with my dryer car towel. Greetings 😮

Yeah the brake dust is really corrosive so it can eat into the finish. It’s possibly to polish the wheel if it has clear coat paint on it though. Then applying a ceramic coating is the best way to prevent it happening again
Hi Heather, new subscriber. I am new to snow foaming and would like to know the best way to snow foam my car. Do you start from the top or bottom of the car or does it really matter ??
