I thought to give you another diesel because why not. BTW, in the video I am saying I have never driven a RR before - this was obviously filmed BEFORE the famous lap with Alex/Tavarish etc!
Well technically the Auto Alex crew car is a Land Rover Discovery so this is still the first Range Rover :) BTW Love the after season content so far!

I love the fact that you just test everything : powerful cars, underpowered cars, EVs, SUVs, daily cars, sports cars, supercars... you don't discriminate any type of car, and I really appreciate that open-mindedness ;) you're a true car guy.
He's great, I hope one day Misha will have his own Show like Top Gear or something where he will be testing cars.

Finally made it to Germany with my 2004 Monaro! Glad I was able to sort out bringing it over means so much to me but god damn it was so many hoops, customs delays, etc to jump through, but cannot wait to take some Aussie(ish) Muscle out on the Ring! & Misha if you're interested once I've sorted out a couple little gremlins would absolutely adore you to show me what it can really do!

I've been dreaming of seeing some real Aussie muscle on the Ring ever since Holden set the Ute lap record with a VF SS-V Ute back in 2013! Would be a fitting 10 year tribute to see a Monaro lapping the ring, please make it happen fellas.

@@petjack363 Originally was the 4 Speed Auto, Dad and Uncle converted it to the 6 Speed manual in 2009 from a wrecked for parts car

holy crap the fuel gauge barely moved! you could spend a whole weekend hammering it round without even thinking about putting fuel in!
90 litre tank with slightly better diesel fuel consumption makes for little needle movement 👍
My friend has an SVR range rover and I don't think it could do a lap on a full tank!😅
Even though is diesel, its a big ass heavy SUV still ,it just can't get a decent mpg

I love Range Rover‘s 😍 And it was indeed very impressive how fast the car was in some corners, with that weight and „only“ 345hp. 👏
But the most fun part was to watch the owner and his reactions from time to time 😃 A very sympathetic guy, I liked him 👍

Rangies are curiously well heeled at speed, even the older classics and P38's can be a lot of fun when they are well looked after especially if you are mindful of the COGravity and the spring and damping rates, 4 wheel discs, uprated brake lines and good Michelin rubber and they hold their own nicely :-)

Great Comfort in Sports Class👏...Never need traction control...MISCHA CONTROL is the best you have😎. I noticed how perfectly stable the engine temperature needle was and the fuel needle. It didn't move😅

7 series weighs around 1900kg, max kerb weight is 2.6 tons, owner mixed those two numbers

Really want to drive the Nurburgring one day, what would be the best car you have ever taken around?
Kept waiting for it to break past 110, think I saw 111 or 12 once or twice. My 2020 with SC 5L V8 gets up to 120 really fast.
For 4.4 v8 even it's a diesel, knowing modern diesels got all sorts of emission reduction systems and whatnots not to mention it's a massive 4*4 with all the luxury inside, that's a damn good fuel consumption...
Nothing like a big comfy suv that still works but i hope it has enough fuel to make the lap

Such an underrated engine. Everyone buys the 3.0 diesel. The 4.4 is more reliable aswell

Also isn’t the V8 diesel in this gen of sport only available in the autobiography dynamic spec? Like that was the name for the faclifted v8 diesel spec, im not sure about before though.
@@Adamlllllllllllljjjljljjjjj Yeah you seem to be right, it was only available in Autobiography spec if I remember correctly, we rarely see these engines, which is a shame. It's the only one engine that doesn't spontaneously shit itself, can't say that about the others. Can you imagine that they put a 2.0 diesel pile of craps in these cars? Hell, early Defender II models were even available with the same garbage. Just Land Rover things lol.

Its pretty good for very good offrd capable machine,massive torque gor towing,and still good economy compared to a Jeep Hemi that would have used half a tank around the ring..
Jeep has 700+ hp, not 350. Try a 700hp diesel and it will also drain the tank fast enough.

If it was bs, why didn’t they say the engine is getting hot, or a warning on the gauge, I never heard them say oh it’s losing power.
