I have a 2006 pre facelift and I love it! I haven’t had any major issues in the 3 years that I’ve owned it. Apart from usual wear items, I’ve only spent about £500 on unexpected repairs which for an 18 year old Range Rover is amazing. The main thing with these is regular maintenance. As long as you keep up to date with oils, they will go on for ages.
Really nice review Got one I bought it she had 60k now 170k. No big issues just service them on time use premium fuel and that is it. Mine in 110k one air compressor one battery one key fob that is it. Great cars.
I have a 59 reg 2010 series RR Sport, which I bought 2nd hand in 2014. I have had it 10 years, which is far longer than I have ever had any other vehicle. I love it. It looks pretty, goes like sh!t of a shovel and has been relatively reliable. I also have a 55 reg Discovery for (farm) work that I also love, but isn’t quite as special as the RR Sport. People like to knock these vehicles and no doubt some have been unreliable, or some are envious of them. Maybe I’ve been lucky. But I simply cannot find or think of any other vehicle, I’d rather have. Including the later versions of them, which to my mind look ugly! At the end of the day, the L320 Range Rover Sport is a lovely vehicle to drive. The Face-lifted 3.0 litre 2010 series, especially so. And as with every other Land-rover, no matter how old, is the only vehicle in the World that will go everywhere, including Buckingham Palace, with pride!
@Rickwardful the old Range Rovers had more personality than the new ones.. the old shape is literally a true good looking animal ! The problem with them is that people don't take care of their cars and when they broken-down they start moaning.. but a car , like anything else needs attention..
Good review Only thing I don’t like about some of these RR is their huge can exhaust (thankfully this 1 is perfect 👌) Unfortunately this car’s unsightly part is that wood inside, it’s awful & spoils the look. That aside great cars Very good review 🫡
I really love the Range Rover... and the driving experience is like no other SUV... I can agree that a couple of them had issues but which car doesn't :))))
@@CarswithAlbertAlexagreed. I’ve had X5/6, a Cayenne and even a Q7…..have always come back to the RR - nothing gets close plus it has capability which the others just didn’t.
@willwonka1325 I definitely think that the sitting position and the way it feels when you drive a Range Rover has no equal! They should have kept the bmw engine and gearbox tough...

We love them because you see them broken-down on the streets 😂😂😂 German cars rules

The delusion of German reliability 😂😂😂😂 perhaps back in the 90’s, but no more. German car dealers must love you as you’ve bought into the myth 😏🤪

@willwonka1325 In the past as you mentioned, german cars were very reliable.. but after 2007 things took a wrong turn 😂😂😂
