Nobody is switching from the 1911 . There's room for both in your collection .
Very smart!
You are right.1911 Glock 30,21,41 and the F&N 15 &.1
The only thing that keeps me from forgetting the 1911 is the look. In my opinion the 1911 is one of the best looking pistols ever made. Other than looks glock has the 1911 beat in every other way.
That I have to agree!!!!
The 1911 is a classic, but they are a pain in the ass to field strip and clean. Last time I cleaned my Springfield, I thought that damn spring was gonna take out my tv screen.
@@charlesbradley5757Agreed. Even Ruger got the message and figured out a way to make their Mark IV 22lr a one button field strip.
A 1911 is what you show your friends. A Glock is what you show your enemies.
@@charlesbradley5757 my 1911 has the full-length guide rod, so it breaks down similar to the glock.
Only a fool would deny Glocks reliability. It is a fine weapon right out of the box but I will never forget, give up or stop carrying my 1911.
G21 sf is a keeper too
@@earldelsantoreplaced my 1911 edc
Glock 41 Excellent accuracy,low recoil 13 + 1 and 2-13 round mags =40 rounds
I shot my Dad's G 41 and I'm jelly cause has slide width of 34, accurate and just pleasure to shoot .
@@douglasphillips24I’m surprised the new Glock 21 gen 5 didn’t have the same slide width!
I bought a used gun range 41 pistol; $325 in 2022. I added a few new Glock parts, KKM match .45acp barrel. New magazines, 13rd, new Tru Dot TFX orange sights. Midnight blue shade Cerakote. The 41 is big but shoots 💯, not hard to use. For ccw or vehicle carry I use HST +P 230gr or Underwood Ammo 185gr +P.
The Glock 30 is my go too 45 ACP for CCW. What a legendary blaster
I agree!!! But then 29 Boyz gonna say ain’t nothing better than a 10 Mike Mike
@@calvinnelsonjr6465 I could get a G 29 barrel , extractor, mags, ejector, and recoil spring to shoot 10 mm out my 30 for double cost but I'm good and 45 is all I need for Appalachian mountain wildlife and 2 legged wildlife as well.
@@douglasphillips24 If I lived in mountain area I would definitely own a Glock 20
@@douglasphillips24 what grain .45 round would you carry in the woods?
@@calvinnelsonjr6465 ammo too expensive for me.
My Glock G30sf is one of my favorite Glock pistols. Very shootable and accurate!
You for got about the glock 41
Right. The Glock 41 Gen 4 Mos.
Glock 30sf for all day carry, and 21sf for home defense
I've had the 2nd Gen Glock 21 .45ACP new since the early 90's CONVERTED to 10mm and you can feed 40S&W you can also convert to .45 Super, .50GI. Glock 21 a very versatile weapon for me...
Glock 30, the best
G30 is my most accurate weapon. I want to try the g21. Just curious if less recoil can produce better 2nd shots.
30s
First semi auto I owned
I might have to get one
Got the 21 got big paws so it fits me
I agree on the Glock 21 for sure. I fired my friend's G21 and it didn't have any more recoil than my G43x MOS. Thinking about getting one for home defense.
I ccw my 21..
@@billyray332 I CCW my G21 G4. It is just a little bulky & heavy but I am willing to give up some comfort in exchange for all of that massive firepower!!!!!
@@thomaspalmer7900 your my kinda fellow.
YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY 21
I got a G41 gen4 😢 show us love too
What about the G 41 ???
The original G30SF is the perfect .45 ACP for concealed carry. With a G21 magazine as a spare, you're good to go.
My 1911's are still in my collection, and they are still iconic, but they are relegated to range shooting now.
I have carried 1911's cocked and locked, a S&W 645 (which as the best DA trigger pull of any semiauto), and a bunch of other guns, but the Glock is revolver simple, which puts it at #1.
I have happily carried a Colt Agent .38 Special as well.
In my 26 years as a LEO, and my 50+ years of shooting in general, I have never had to fire a single shot of any caliber at another person.
Just got a Glock 21 for my edc and I love it
Carried the 21SF for 25 years wonderful pistol easy to take down and clean very accurate and I know a lot of people don’t like the sights I love m only bad thing is of course the trigger I changed out the connector and a little polish helped I keep it at 3.5 lbs now that I am old the weight is a little much so I had to go with the 43X with a Johnny Glock trigger .
Not a Glock ever made can make any gun guy forget 1911
Love my big blocky Gen 4 Glock 21. My full size monster.
Glock 30SF on my Santa list.
Glock 21.SF my very first Glock after testing so many 45acp Handguns/pistols. Saving the best for last once i finally shot some 45acp glocks. I instantly went with the 21SF 🤝 no questions asked.
Great video ❤
The Glock G21, very very Good
Exactly what I’m trying to do, I got a Kimber and had so many issues but I do love the cartridge so the 30s is the top contender until I can afford better 1911
I’ve never had a problem with any of my 3 Kimbers although they are 20yrs old.
Like what
I own the G41 and wish that they had covered it. I think it's great.
I bought a used range model 41 for $325.00 in 2022. The 41 .45acp is big, bulky but not impossible to use, shoot. 💥 I put in a few parts, changes. Glock Store pins, slide lock, new Milspin back plate, new KKM .45 barrel, new recoil guide rod/gen 4, 2 new Glock gen 4 magazines, Tango Down gen 4 slide stop, magazine release. The blue Cerakote Elite is sharp. ✔️ . Cleaning, oil the 41 gen 4 is simple. I use Slip 2000 EWL or Clenzoil CLP.
If Glock would give us a real update to the 21, they would have a world beater. No reason the slide has to be so thick this day in age. They could slim down the grip a few mm’s while they’re at it.
They have released the gen 5 G21
@@stephenkidder8876 Yes they have but it’s not really that different than the gen 4. Maybe some internal changes but the overall dimensions are still the same. Primarily the overly bulky slide is still a big deterrent for a lot of buyers that would carry concealed. I know it’s not a huge difference but the slide thickness on the 41 is noticeably slimmer and feels better iwb with the right holster. IMHO, I would like to see a 30 type pistol with slightly longer grip so you don’t get pinched during reloads, or a slimmed down 21 that’s easier to carry concealed. Just my .02 :)
Thick big looking pistol is fitting but if you have small hands I can see why you would say that not talking down on you for sure but I love the full size g21 not exactly a EDC but it's a hell of a pistol to keep next to you on the night stand
@@joshuahawkins2743 well, I don’t have small hands 🤣 I want a 13 round Glock 21 that isn’t as thick as a brick for ccw. Not looking for a duty gun or a night stand gun. Glock makes a 41 with a thin slide, so they can do it for the 21.
The 41 had a few revised R&D spots. The gun fits 13rd standard Glock 21 style magazines. Glock could pull a S&W trick & put out a "single" stack type 4" comp(ported) ccw model in 10mm, .45 like Big Blue did with a few PC Shield pistols. Port barrel, add fiber optic sights, 7+1 design.
Glock 30s gen 5, I'm waiting.
As my old saying goes; if people bought steamship tickets like they do Glocks, the Titanic would still be packing them in.
I own a Glock 21 and let me tell you… The gun is very reliable and is good for home defense.
Very informative video
Very nice this modern Quality glock . 45❤ GOD BLESS GUN FACTORY..
Glock 21 is my home defense gun and 10mm slide for woods gun.
1911 triggers are where it's at, glock triggers aren't even close.
i have the 36 and 30, i mix parts from both AND NOW I HAVE A 30S....do not use lasermax recoil spring system, recoil turns laser off
Glock 41 😎👍
A excellent video on the glock 45 acp guns the 1911 just to much money 34 to 40 oz you don't need that police use the glock 30s for duty and off duty
If you could find one buy they are hard to find 🇦🇹💯👍
The Glock is a good gun. But everything is based on opinions for the most part. I will never abandon the 1911. I do have a Glock 21/5 generation. I still like the 1911 better.
"From the low-cost G30 to the full-size glock 21.." Both are pretty much close to the same price.
I have my G21 4 gen.I am a happy. 45 acp owner. 19 what 😂
Tengo 21 Gen 3 y 30S...
Son dos pistolas formidables.
Quizas por ser un hombre de 72 y retirado de FFSS tengo enorme preferencia por el calibre .45 ACP.
Desde Bs. As. salu2 para todos...
G21G4 is ULTIMATE..
Compact 10+1 Rock island 1911 has entered the chat
i bought my Glock 30 because its more throwaway than my 1911
Weird title. We .45 guys know the evolution of the .45acp. 1911 trigger is superior to all striker fire. Glocks are indeed reliable but 1911s are a work of art and have been around for over a hundred years:NOT TO EVER BE FORGOTTEN. I carry a Glock Monday, Wednesday, Friday. All other days: 1911 lol
G21 Gen5 shoots smooth as butter and comes with a duel plate slide for sights*
That's the polymer MOS design. Serious shooters, SWAT, law enforcement types go to C&H for plates, optics stuff. Better screws, better steel plates.
Don't ever tell me that I will forget my 1911!!😅
Short frame
Am I’m Tripping Or Was That Only 5&Not6?
21❤
Carry a Glock 36 the one with the light rail with a extended mag
The first glock i ever bought I love that lil mf
@@GMFB92 me too love the gun my first was the 27 in 40 now I’m into collecting mouse guns .
Gut.
Me wants a g30s. I'll settle for a g30s as the s is hard to find.
Can anybody tell me if there's a Holster outside the waistband for the Glock 21 with the Tr1 combat light?
See C&G holsters, Safariland TS7 line, Alien 👽 Gear Holsters. Not all kydex Holsters or brands are the same. Choose a well known, high quality holster. A 1.75" width belt loop.
Glock 30S all day week.
G21 enough said
WRONG !!!
The Glock 30S has a smaller slide (Narrower) than the Glock 30
You keep showing Glock 17s I. The video but the Glock 17 is a 9mm
No glock is better than a 1911.
Right. You lost me at "Glock"!
Did he just say you can conceal carry a Glock 21? I feel like that would be pretty difficult?
I'm left handed: 6'00, male. I wore a simple OWB type kydex Glock 21-20 holster. 1.75" loop. No problems. Would a Glock 36 or 30S do better? Sure, for ccw but the Glock 21 .45acp model isn't like a N frame revolver or Desert Eagle .50AE.
wrong pictures and old information. There is no more SF models because the Gen 4 added backstraps.
Agreed. Wrong information too. He said the "SF" means small frame. Wrong......its "short" frame. Also said the S in the 30S stands for "subcompact" . Wrong....its "slim" , as in slim slide. He did not say on the Gen 3 Glock 21 models you could get a SF model or a standard non SF model with longer reach. All Gen 4 models of the 30 and 21 have the shorter reach but dont say SF on the side. All model 30S pistols are Gen 3 only. Mine has a SF stamp on it just forward of the take down pin on the right side, unlike most that have them above the grip.........I think I am correct in what I stated........Yes , all of this is somewhat confusing if you arent knowledgeable about the differences.
Low cost 🤣🤣 the 30 is more than the other glocks
Why the hell did you make a video about .45 acp glocks and then keep showing 9mm Glock 17 in the video..
Because the Glock video is 🤖
Glock's are Too Damn UGLY for me to forget a 1911. There's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about a Glock I like.
Milenial plastic POS block
As a retired Gunny Sergeant and one who fired many 1911s in my career, I’ve found the Glock 21 to be an excellent choice in firearms. I, for one, cursed the day the USMC got rid of the 1911 for the beretta 9mm pistol! I didn’t like it then, and still don’t like it! I like the stopping power of the .45 ACP. Period! If you’re looking for a well built, dependable and accurate pistol, look no further than the Glock 21!
A Glock that youses 45 acp is just a m92 baretta rip off
Why didn't you mention the sf pistol really was made for shorter trigger reach that's all
You just read from a script and know nothing about guns
No GLOCK 41 ?
I got big ass Pinchers. These tiny Baby looking Glock 45acp I Cant use
Gaston who? Never heard of her.
Lol best 6 45acp glocks like there is 100 of them
G41
I prefer my 5.7
Just got mines the other day I love it so much
Glocks are crap…..
