Thank you for the assembly instructions. (I ordered from Amazon and no instruction sheet was included.) My cat is chilling inside of the carrier waiting on me to put it together. That’s a good sign!
Awesome video review and assembly display. My aunt bought two of these, and, of course, I’m her assembly guy, and these were-by far-the easiest things I’ve ever put together (w/the help of your UA-cam video, of course). Many thanks!
I want to say how much I appreciated this video - I bought two of these and have the same instructions, etc. that you got. The pictures are HORRIBLE as they show dark fastener parts against a dark background (you can't even see them) instead of being a black & white line drawing diagram. I came to youtube hoping to find a video of the assembly. THANK YOU!! 👍😻
I bought this same carrier under the Frisco brand from Chewy. Appears identical and at a lower price. I got the pink 24" one. Now to convince my cat who has a Boo-like aversion to carriers.
Love mine. I’ve had it for a couple years and it’s so much easier than trying to balance a standard carrier on end and stuff the kitty’s rear end in first. The vet techs love it too. I bought mine from the tractor supply store in their pet section.
I know from experience with one of their old Pet Taxis that those screws are easily lost. Without the top door, you had to unscrew the whole thing to get a stubborn cat out. So that's why they give extra even though the top door now eliminates the need to dismantle the whole thing. That one also is escape proof, unlike the SportPet carrier, which should only be used with docile cats.
Carrier is good but I personally am so over bulky "carriers" and now have an incredible cat cadillac (not an official name) which is on wheels with a pull out handle to pull it. It also has two entries and is soft and cozy inside. Made by Petsfit but Sherpa makes some good ones! More expensive overall but so worth it - cat is happier as are my arms!
Stella is a TOP LOADER. She would be, wouldn't she? Haha....You may find any of the cats curled up snoozing inside of it, at any time. I have 4 Petmate Pet Carriers in various sizes that I've had for YEARS (mine doesn't have that spiffy top door). They hold up well over time, so worth the extra $$. My Dillon kitty used to go inside & pull the door shut behind him (he couldn't latch it, of course). Was his "safe place", when things got too hectic for him.
One thing to add now that I have put the first one together... When fitting the front door in, the pegs on whatever side you choose to be the bottom (depending on whether you position the door to open from the right or the left) will fit right into the holes in the bottom part of the carrier but they WILL NOT line up with the holes on the top part. As far as I can tell, those two holes in the top at the door have no purpose at all. The top pegs sit in the deep molded/covered plastic channels just to the outside of the holes.
Juanita Brown On his/her own terms us the only way any mentally healthy cat does anything, Juanita -- and anything that both simplifies & facilitates putting the kitty in the carrier for transport and spares his/her dignity in the process certainly gets my vote.
cool ,just looking at British newspaper the sun and they have this back pack bubble cat carrier .it's brand new there called u- pet bubble carrier...six different colours really smart the bubble for the cat to look out off £60 so pretty dear but am just saying there cool would not get one for moving cat's,I would get just a normal cat carrier a lot cheaper I believe ...

glad the video was helpful
You seem very organized so you remember where you'll put that bag of extra parts. Me not so much. Love your videos.
What a great carrier! The cats should love it ❤️🐈🐈🐈🐈
Awesome review love the carrier!!! 😀😀

That will come in handy and great in sale too

Quite practical when it opens on the upper side too. I use a cat trolley for my cats and a bike basket.
I have this and LOVE IT! 🐱
I like the idea of two doors...one on the top to place the cat in the carrier and the other to allow the cat to exit on his/her own terms.

You got that on his/her dignity. Nothing's funnier than to see a cat embarrassed.

What are the two holes above the front door for?
My kennel door wiggles up and down do you know how to fix?
I have this crate, just be careful. I had the top door break on me when my puppy was less than 10 pounds. :/
I wonder if Boodini can get out of that carrier like he did the other one.
Is this a good size for cats? I'm looking to adopt
Yes, I use it for my cats. It's a very strong and sturdy carrier.
My cats get nervous in carriers escpessially Cindy.
Two exits...in case of fire.
derfo20 More like two entrances -- in case of recalcitrant cat. 😉🐱🐈
