      I would never suggested that they get a dog,as nice as they seem, they have too much going on and going to add another child to the mix. They need to wait until they can get a better handle on things.

    If you don't even have time or will to teach a dog basic toilet rules, don't get a dog. If this basic things prove to be such a hassle, having a dog for its entire life isn't something you will be able to provide. I suggest rehoming 100%, the dog deserves it.

      I’m not sure they put enough time in for the kids and that’s not to say they are bad parents but when you add a dog to the mix you have to teach not just the dog but teach the kids how to be around the dog.all I saw was total wildness. I know the woman loves the dog but they don’t have a clue. PUPPY TRAINING CLASSES!!!

      @@amazonwarrior770 exactly, kids riding bikes inside? And standing on the kitchen table? Running around wild is to be expected with kids, (outside) but they too need boundaries and I saw none, let alone the poor puppy. I bet he never gets walked either, poor little thing.

      Right? My aunt passed away and I wanted to take in her dog, but her son said no that he’s going to keep him. I get he doesn’t want to get rid of him because it was his mom’s, but the dog was matted, stinky, and the nails were horrible long. My sister and I bathed him and cut the matting off and did the best to even the hair out the best we could with the little scissors I found in the house. My mom even asked if she could have the dog and he said no. My mom even went and bought him food because it had ran out. So if he’s barely home, and not giving him the attention, why not rehome him. I took my dog to work since she was a puppy which helped me potty train her real fast, so I was willing to do the same with him. I hope he changes his mind and lets me have him. He’s a very sweet and friendly dog, he just needs a bit of help with potty training and the fact that he’s a runner as soon as the door opens, but I’m willing to work in that.

      I don't think those parents realize just how costly, both in time and money a new baby will be for them, especially as shelby becomes an adolescent and dogs don't really become fully grown before they're 1 year old & 7 months - 2 years old. No way they will have the time for shelby with a new baby in the house alongside the other very young children, and I imagine the older kids will have to do a lot of babysitting for the siblings which can damage their relationships to their parents.

It’s cruel. Your animal, just like your kids & yourself, deserve to have access to fresh air, wind, sun, rain, grass and nature. In Australia most dogs are outside all day. Unless of course the weather doesn’t permit.

      @@zoeyruas1333 I'm in welfare. The problem with a dog with a bite history, for whatever reason, is that they're more likely to bite again. It does depend on the dog though. If the dog, for example, bit a screaming child, you could possibly rehome it to a house without children. But if it still got hold of a diffetent child after being adopted, you (the shelter) can be made liable, huge problem. Some dogs cam be rehabilitated and trained, but it's not fair to the new owners or the dog when people just rehome a dog with a bite history. Give the problem to someone else

    Now it’s time to train the kids to not be lunatics 🤣🤣🤣🤣 kids are high stress and it truly is a loud chaotic house. The dog needed an escape crate area. It’s removed but not isolated. What a great trainer. Everyone owning a pet for the first time needs to watch training videos. 99% of the time it’s the owners fault on what’s going on

    12:21 this is exactly true for all living beings. Human and animals alike. You should always be kind, no matter what to everyone.
    You should always be inclusive and respectful and kind and gentle and understanding and forgiving.
    You should always try to look at things from other peoples point of view. trying to get a better understanding of someone else will make you not only a better person, but it will teach you about how you want to be treated and how you would feel in that situation.
    People heard this in kindergarten . kindness and understanding and empathy and how to treat others the way you want to be treated and how to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and not judge a book by its cover. This is what makes us human. Be kind, no matter what.
    Treating others with kindness and forgiving others is not for them. It’s for you. It helps you be a better person and helps you get along better with other people -find friendship or even find love. Treat everyone the way you want and believe you should be treated.❤

    My dogs know when they did something wrong, and they know they will go to their crate after for a small amount of time. No different than a kid going to their room fora timeout. • @m6666
      @m6666 2 роки тому +4

      Yes, but there's a very fine line with doing that. Your dogs may do that and be fine with it, but if I did that to my boy, he wouldn't go back in voluntarily. He loves his crate and goes into it when he sees me getting ready to go out (generally the only time I use it now), but he's a very sensitive boy and if I told him off and then put him in his crate, he'd no longer go in voluntarily. I've only ever used the crate as a good safe place for my dogs, which is what they were intended for, and Victoria says the same.
