I love the process of using the pvc pipe, however, you were a bit too "heavy handed" with the filler. Absolutely no need for the huge amount you put on, besides there is a lighter, flexible, plastic filler you can use, rather than that heavy grade you used.
The rivet idea was pretty smart. Nice repair, but I hope that filler was flexible for bumpers. Also I have heard super glue supposed to not adhere to body filler. I never use it. I use plastic welder and screen and melt it. I have used copper flattened for broken flat tip on welder and works. Bury metal in heavy plastic and then flexible filler and never had a return unless cars have another accident

Very useful video. In my experience plastic fenders are usually ABS plastic, is there a reason you used PVC intsead of ABS?
If you can find a piece of plastic of the same type, that would be great, I couldn't find it so I got pvc plastic
