I dig it. I’m definitely going to pick up a couple of those. I like to use a ball of oatmeal for minnow traps.

There's prob a small pound shop version of those foldable laundry baskets. Something for toiletries or the like with a drawstring would do the trick.

I like that idea there eh! Here in NB they frown on fishing with with minnows in certain area's going ti try it,this year on my lake. More interested in catching small fish seeing swimming the shoreline that look like small trout, want to see if the trout that we ha e been stocking lake with are spawning... thanks for sharing

Awesome mate. I have the exactly same traps here in Indonesia. I catch river prawns with these traps. As bait i use dried coconut bits or dry dogfood works great as well. The dry dog food i put in a smaller net ball or you can also use an old stocking from missus. Great stuff. Looking firward to more videos

Good reminder on the bait…..crayfish are opportunity base eaters…. They will eat vegetables in a trap quite easily

Thanks for your comment. I have never tried veggies but i heard from a mate that this also works. I think next time i will give it a try. Thanks again for the idea

I thought live minnows were prohibited as bait in Nova Scotia, I have not read this years regulations though...they change so much every year who can keep track lol 😎👍
