- If you've ever used minnows for bait, then you know how good they are! Fish just can't resist an opportunity to attack a struggling minnow. In this video I show two types of minnow trap that weight almost nothing and fit easily into a backpack.

Sorry - this one did end somewhat abruptly. The battery of my main camera has lost it's ability to hold a charge - new battery has been ordered and is on its way

I've been out a couple times this spring but no major action...probably going to see if I can feed the fish again this weekend!

It was a bit cold, and there was only about an hour that day when they were active - so I only got one, but that was all I needed to cook over the fire that evening! Sadly I can't go to that location now because of COVID restrictions. Whole province is on lock-down so I can't fish my usual spots which are about an hour away. On the bright side - new places to explore!
