Wow! Clark was directly aware of the nature of his own action when he said, "Well, that's what the Insurrectionist Act refers to." I wonder what Clark's reputation has been among others who practice Environmental Law?
He solely represented big business interests and tried to reduce penalties for huge oil companies when they broke the law. He also worked aggressively to gut greenhouse gas regulations. Mostly, he was an "anti-environmental" lawyer, working as a corporate schill.
Mr Clark should be in prison.

The fact that the justice system can't deal with the simple and obvious is the real injustice.
The justice system has never had to deal with a group that is bound a determined to destroy the very system that the justice system is a part of. The justice system is fearful that if it doesn't follow the law to the letter the group will be released upon the country with its blessing to destroy it. Justice is between a rock and a hard place when dealing with it.
We really should stop calling it a justice system and stick with legal system. There ain't no justice in it when people like Trump are not in prison.

If either of those bombs had exploded Trump would have had the excuse he needed to either declare the Insurrection Act or martial law.
