Extremely important note about the Alabama election - normally Huntsville (the 10th district + largest city in the state) swings red. This is the first time in a long time it's gone the other way. Ties into the huge industry boom they've experienced lately with several tech companies moving in. It's following the exact same pattern we know to be true - the more populated these rural areas become, the more economic success the people there experience, the more education the average resident has, the more likely the election is to go blue. I hope they keep it up.

Polling companies use a range of methods, from panels to landline and mobiles. If you don't make yourself available, you won't be able to participate. Like, if you don't answer an unknown number or belong to a panel, then you'll never participate.
I was questioned after voting in the parking lot. Told the News reporter who I voted for. Only time polled.😊

Back in the early to mid 60s, people with differing ideology were good friends despite political affiliation. For example.
One man was a foreign immigrant who became a MD doctor after residency in Cleveland.
The other man was born and raised in the Midwest. He was an insurance company owner. One Republican and one Democrat.
Despite their numerous differences they were best friends. They differed and the children of the men would listen to them debate while pausing at times for a refill of Chivas Regal, and a joke or a quip.
