Tearing into our Turbocharged 5.0l coyote engine after 2 years of abuse. All was not well as we found a couple small issues, and one large problem with piston skirt design.

We work with all types of power adders including superchargers, nitrous oxide, specializing in turbocharged combinations. We utilize our in-house chassis dyno to get safe and reliable power over several combinations. We work on vehicles powered by multiple different ecus, and engine combinations. From turbo 4g63 setups making 80+ psi of boost, to NA 5.0l mustangs. we don't forget the Chevy guys though, also working on multiple LS engines in multiple swap vehicles using several different types of engine management.

Sucks to hear about the Mod2k's. I have a set in the shop. I had heard TKM wouldn't use them. Lasala uses Manley's in his. Looking forward to the rebuild.

So I’m ordering a whipper for my gen 3 planning on making 870 whp atleast would you recommend a Texas speed forged 5.0 short block gen 3? Or just regular opg and crank sprocket

No. We did make 14-1500 on the stock one.
Selling your old 180° headers?
Not planning to. I have the stock engine setup on a stand with the turbo setup attached. It's a kick ass conversation piece.
