Well there you have it, straight from the horses mouth! Great to see the original tying and hear the history from Peter! Can’t believe I never thought of sealing the ends of the legs with super glue to stop the flexi fraying! 🤦‍♂️… Thanks for putting this out Alec. 👍

So number 2 for pink, number 8 for amber and just use olive beads for olive.
For the pulling version, does the number of beads go the same as the turns of rib on the static version......so 5 beads for size 10, 4 for size 12 and 3 for size 14?
And definitely size 9 gutterman beads? I ordered a load but I have nowhere near the same space as Peter to get my Flexi floss in and tight to get on the hook. What brand and model of hook does Peter use as that's probably my problem?
Sorry for all the questions Alan, just sat down to get a load tied

    • @alecharveyfishingandflytying

Yes that's right, you might have o check the olive beads coz you often get different sizes in the tubs, the quality control for he sze is not good, ge some 8/o if you can them there will be plenty room.
Hanak 230BL wet hooks are a good model but expensive 👍🎣🐟
