Hi Rhys. Love your vídeos, congratulations. Tell me one thing, please. When you say that this is a comp legal fly, are you refering to the FIPS competition rules, article 29.10, that banned moulded or shapped bodies? Best regards from Portugal
Thanks Joe! For the Bank International Competition in the UK, our rules are set upon FIPS but we have the ability to make slight adjustments as long as all 4 nations approve. For example, squirmies are allowed in our competitions despite it being prohibited under FIPS. Similarly, this Apps worm version would be legal in our bank international rules. Hope that helps👍

Hi Rhyss, I wouldn’t advise using varnish on the body, as flexifloss is perishable if it’s used. UV Resin is the best way to go, thanks for another great video, merry Christmas and tight lines in the New Year. Jimf

Yes it does. It’s just under fished on large resi’s
Rhys I was just wondering why ar some flies legal and some arnt
All to do with the rules stipulated by fips mouche. I.e 1 bead maximum in the case of an apps worm
