Thank you so much for this expertly filmed and well-explained tutorial! I have shied away from making elastic bracelets because I don't trust my knotting abilities, so this really helpful. 💐
I was looking for a video like this. After having 5 bracelets explode on me, I just wanted a knot video with no beads to get the hang of it. I was so ready to through the beads out the window 🤬😡😡
Thank you for sharing this!! I have never had much luck knotting round cord which may be due to the brand of cord. I have so much more luck with flat stretch cord and I always double cord and sometimes triple cord my bracelets depending on the mm of the beads. It's always nice to see different methods to learn new techniques!
Welp This made me remembered when I was 10 years old me and my aunt made a promise that if I did very good and pass 4th grade she will buy me a bracelet kit lol
I was messed up with the bracelet and then I found this video😭 I was not that much working cause my bracelet kept going to explode but that glue idea was amazing I tried and completed my bracelet hope it will last long! Thank you ❤
Thank you so much! I was gifted a bracelet that was too big for me and I thought just getting a new cord and remaking it would be easy to figure out. Then I couldn't get it to knot well enough to even attempt to glue it with anything.
Thank you for this! But it seems like my knot doesn't work. I'm using 0.7 elastic cord, I adjust it properly, but the know doesn't stay. I'm sure the knot is correctly done because I've been doing surgery knots all my life with non elastic cord for another purpose. For some reason, with elastic cord, it doesn't work for me.😢
I would suggest maybe your cord isn’t great. Use a quality elastic cord and then focus on gently pulling each direction out from the knot. Once you have pulled a little through it will lock it in place. Keep practicing! Good luck 🌻💫
That’s brilliant! I’m sure it’s a secured way to knot it. However I stop using this type of elastic cord as the material degrades and turn soft, loses its elasticity and finally break off on its own with the knot still intact, especially when you don’t wear the bracelet for more than 6 months.
I find a bead with a bigger hole usually to use next to the knot, so I can pop it under. Or use a feature bead (usually 6mm silver with a 2mm hole) so you can pop the knot under that. Good luck 💫
So.... Square knot with an extra twist on top and bottom? I'll try that. My kids have been getting REALLY frustrated with bracelets coming undone and beads flying everywhere....
Just strung a bracelet that I have wanted to restring for probably 20 years! 🤣 using your knot tutorial 🥰🎄❤️🕊🙏🏻
Yay! This makes me happy!! Glad it was helpful thanks for sharing 🌻💫

Same😂😂😂😂
"Throw" you mean?
@@auguste2121 Hahahaha, yep!! 🤣🤣
Oo, do tie a knot in between 1-3 beads; so if the bracelet explodes, the beads won't all explode.
Thank you so much it took me a couple of times to tie the braclet but with your help I got the hang of it 😀
Excellent! So glad my video is helpful 🌻💫
Very nice how the twists were inserted into the standard Square Knot. Will be giving this a shot for several
I just made a bracelet using that knot! The glue is drying right now. I can't wait to see how it comes out! So far, it looks good!

I had to do the process twice for the .7 and it held beautifully. It didn't seem to really add any bulk at all. Hope that helps

@@knotqueen thank you!
that´s pretty helpful! thank you! I am wondering how to hide the knot since it is too big to fit into the beads now
You can put a feature bead on or use a smaller cord. Not much you can do if the bracelet is already made! 💫🌻
